    Fast and professional
Fast, professional, with smile. The staff has met us near the gate. Escort through the passport control to the baggage belt. The passport control takes about 5-10 minutes after arrival. AAA++

    Great Bangkok experience
Food was good, views were amazing! The only thing are the tables are fairly close together (we didn’t mind but some people may).

Well worth booking for a Phuket arrival.
Delightful young lady who met us just before passport control; took us through empty fast track, avoiding a long queue. Waited to collect our luggage; insisted on pushing trolley to find our transfer company and waited again until we were loaded up. Polite, welcoming and offered us excellent calm service.

Food was good. Service was great. Top of the boat was not open so view was compromised. Entertainment was very good. Has to go downstairs to get seafood and was limited to one shrimp on a plate.

    Awesome Experience
What a great dinner cruise, we couldn’t fault this experience at all. The food was amazing with a large variety to suit all tastes. The staff were very helpful, they even shelled our prawns for us! The traditional Thai dancing & singers were very entertaining. This is a smaller boat so there are less people, boarding and queuing for food was easy. I highly recommend this dinner cruise.

Great way to see Bangkok at night
We went on the Saffron river cruise as we were staying at the Banyan Tree hotel and this is connected with it. The food was pretty good considering they were serving so many people at the same time, and the service was typical Thai, charming and efficient

    Overall great time!
Great fun, food, overall experience. Staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The views up and down the river were beautiful. We took the trip at sunset, for some great photos.

    Wonderful
Let’s be brutally honest- we had seen some of the poorer reviews but weighing up versus the good ones we booked it to take a chance rather than opting for the booming music boat trips that sail up and down the river. So, tonight we have had the most wonderful trip celebrating my good lady’s 60th birthday and there is nothing but praise to be given. Although there was slight miscommunication before we set off in relation to our meals, there was nothing to fund fault. The free boat transfer is great because getting to the starting point by road would be a nightmare. On the boat, once the staff realised we weren’t seafood lovers, they provided an excellent alternative - 6 courses overall as well as birthday girl surprise with a cake. Food was top drawer, staff were all superb, the atmosphere is spot on whilst meeting the chef at the end made it all the more worthwhile. Yes, the drinks cost more buts that’s why you are on a luxury fine dining cruise and not a back street pub in downtown Bangkok! Thank you to everyone for making our evening special.

Interesting experience but with a few disappointments.
Booked trip easily through Viatour. Collected from Bangkok on time and all arrangements went very smoothly until our train ride on day 2 and return trip with our guide to Bangkok. The guide who we met at Kanchanaburi restaurant to take us to Resotel was brilliant - friendly, attentive and informative. He was very helpful and caring with us when getting in/out of the longtail boats. On day 2 he was excellent when taking us around the Mon village. We learnt much about village life. His name is Ka (nit sure of spelling). Our guide to and from Bangkok was NOT impressive. His presentation on the bus was poor. It was not helped by bus microphone being distorted. When our Train was delayed on day 2 , he did not keep our group updated as to what was happening. We learnt about the delay from other guides with other groups. Once on the train, he looked at his phone and fell asleep. Other guides were pointing things out, scenery and landmarks. If it hadn’t been for him we would have given this experience 5 * but he he really spoilt the experience and let the company down.

This was my first experience with Muay Thai and I enjoyed it. I happened to be put in the front row, less than a meter from the fighting. The process of getting the ticket was single and staff guided well. I got there early and really didn’t have to the meet time is the get there early time.

A sobering railway journey into a tragic military history of WW2 in Thailand along the Thai-Burma railway.
The historical journey on the “Death Railway” from the old southern Thonburi train Station in Bangkok Kanchanaburi to its very north western end stop of Nam Tok Station in Kanchanaburi. An enlightening journey that rocks, rolls, clatters & trundles along for a solid two & a half to three hours to Kanchanaburi Station or onward for a further one & a half to two hours to the end of the line at Nam Tok. All touring passengers can alight from the two trains daily in both directions at any station of their choosing. There is an additional third train that runs daily in both directions from Kanchanaburi Station to Nam Tok thus affording tourists to experience the most interesting & historical sites of the Death Railway & the infamous Bridge Over The River Kwai as well as the deadly & precariously built Wampo viaduct along with some other sights to behold. Once in Nam Tok you can take a shuttle bus, taxi, shared transport or private tour as well as an unreliable often late local bus to “Hell Fire Pass” the museum & 3 kilometres hike around the pass & back (6 kilometres in all) so about 4 miles in the heat with plenty of mosquitos for company. In summary a sobering few days touring to bear witness to what Allied Forces POW’s suffered between 1939 & 1946 during WW2. Obviously the history evidences that the Japanese army oversaw the POW’s construction of the Death Railway section of the Thailand Burma mainline for a shorter period of time during WW2. All is well laid out at various historical points through the mind boggling journey. What our Allied Forces suffered during their POW internment is unimaginable & horrendous. Well worth taking one’s time to bear witness to carnage that was their world & to salute their brave yet ultimately tragic sacrifice. Highly recommend the train journey in both directions as well as walking certain sections of the track. Optimal to take 2-3 days to do justice to the historical happenings in the region.

for a price of 800 bht a day (or lower when purchased for several days) you get 4 hop off hop on lines of which only the heritage line was interesting ( 2 hours)

the buses are not the usual opened ones, but covered ones, so the views are not as good as in other cities

the staff as helpfull and frindly

headphones with explanations in several languages (thai, english, russian, malyaisian spanish, chinese... no french, german or italian available)

it is way to have a rough idea of what the city of bangkok is

Dear atontao, We do have 4 routes and this is a choice for passengers, to take 1 or all 4 of them. We have 2 types of buses, double decker and single decker. This is because on some routes the bridges are quite low so we can not drive the double deckers. Our double deckers do have open air at the top of the bus towards the back and you can also sit in the air conditioning area as well so again you have a choice here. Not sure why you would not have good views as the buses are all have panoramic windows. Correct we do not have yet (German or Italian) but we have 7 languages already on the bus. Regards, Nick

If you trying to get on the bus in the middle of bus routes, be aware that you may not able to find the bus stop easily as the bus stop sign is very small and installed a place where is covered by many obstacles.
We spent over 1 and half hours to wait for the bus on the street because the map does not provide a specific location

So we decided to ride a bus from MBK mall station and Central World station.
When we got off the bus in the middle of bus routes, always got back the same bus station where we got off. No more confusion and no further wasting time .

It takes longer for the same bus route depends on traffic condition and we surprised how serious traffic was in Bangkok although we expected some level of traffic.

We always felt happy and relaxed when get back to the bus after spend some time to walk around hot and humid places for sightseeing.

Once again, suggest not to take the bus in the middle of bus route without knowing a exact point of bus stop.

Hi Terry, Thank you for the comments and I am sorry you did not see the bus stops or the signs. To combat this we issue paper maps on board and also via the APP all the stops are on here as well. However you did point out a great solution so thank you. I shall pass on your comments to the operations team at Siam Hop. Regards, Nick

I really enjoyed watching the famous landmarks in Bangkok through this sightseeing bus. Unlimited hop on and off really makes this tour bus highly recommendable. The audio was great too. Great tip, the 24 hour pass starts when you board first time, ie we started at 2pm and it was valid until 2pm the day after.

I have visited many places in Bangkok. By using the Siam Hop bus service, the highlight here is the ability to get on or off the bus whenever you want. We always saw something different. It has 4 routes so covers all the city. Every seat on the bus has an audio guide throughout the route. If you are looking for a tour bus service, I recommend to buy tickets here.

We enjoyed the rides so much we went on all the routes (even multiple times). We also loved the audio guide (which were available in many languages). Also in the heat of Bangkok, it’s great to sit on the top desk looking at architecture and neighbourhoods with cool breeze. Highly recommended!

An easy way to soak in sights and sounds of Bangkok with helpful commentary. Four routes are available to utilize. The hop on ferry is also a very convenient way to get close to the River which was included. Quiet must be due to the corona scare but staff were excellent throughout. Audio was spot on.

I was pleasantly surprised with the hop on hop off bus. We booked with Expedia and the company I Asia sent us our vouchers and explained to us we can board at any bus stop, the nearest to us was at MBK mall. This was not far from our hotel. The bus is brand new, very clean and great standard. We took the heritage tour so we passed the main sights especially the grand palace. The bus was not that busy, they just opened the conductor said. Headphones were free and commentary in english

Dear Tamtim019, Thank you for experiencing Siam Hop On Hop Off, especially because the sightseeing bus is a new service. And whilst there are a few things here and there that can be perfected (as is the case with any new Product on the market) you are provided brand new buses of excellent standard. It is appreciated that you have made mention of this great feature and some of the other excellent and useful amenities on board. Kind regards, Christopher Product Manager - Tours & Activities Online I Asia Group

I would really give this service a miss.Used Hop on Hop off service in a few cities with no problems however the Bangkok service is awful. Almost impossible to find bus stops, map showing where they are inaccurate. Spent most of the day trying to find a bus and only managed to "hop on" one all day and we flagged that one down in desperation. Unlike other cities seems to be very few buses so hardly ever saw one,. could not find bus stops where the different tours on offer intersected and when managed to find Siam Hop staff they were unable to help. Complete waste of money, spend your cash on getting a metered taxi or haggle with a Tuk Tuk driver to take you where you want to go. Really poor service.

This is the best way to go around Bangkok. The bus drivers were very friendly however sometimes we could not understand what they are saying on the tour but I dont speak Thai.......we relied on the audio which was gps enabled and worked perfectly. Not many people on board but we had more attention from the staff which was great. Overall it was nice experience. Thanks.

Hello Craig, Already replied on first review and not sure why you have to write the same review twice. “absolute crap” Is subjective....so for you it may have been but as you can see from other reviewers not the case. Before ripping up your ticket you should have spoken to the staff as they could have refunded you if there was any issue. As an example yesterday was the Kings birthday so many roads were closed which is out of our control Regards, Nick
