About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Pathfinder2187940 contributionsMr Note is a great guide. Had so much fun!Mr. Note was the best tour guide! He showed us amazing points of interest, was very personable and funny and had a lot of valuable information. He knew the perfect photo-ops and we saw a lot throughout our 9 hour day. I recommend this tour for anyone spending a couple days in the Bangkok area.Written 17 January 2025
- John S0 contributionsA thoughtful guide and an unforgettable experience! This was a truly remarkable adventure! Geng, our guide, went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable and seamless day. His thoughtfulness and genuine care for everyone in the group made a big difference. On top of that, his excellent English allowed him to explain the history and significance of each site in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. The ancient temples were awe-inspiring, offering a serene contrast to Bangkok’s bustling golden temples. The highlight for many of us was getting to see the monkeys up close—a magical way to end the day. We appreciated having plenty of time at each stop, which made the experience feel relaxed and immersive. If you’re planning to visit Bangkok, this tour is an absolute must. Huge thanks to Geng for his kindness, knowledge, and incredible hospitality, as well as to our driver for making the journey so smooth.Written 28 December 2024
- k_rlisak0tsg0 contributionsTruly amazingGreat way to spend a day and learn about the ancient cultures and see the temple ruing. Totally recommend for anyone that wants to learn and see different kinds of temples and Buddhas. The last place also has a lot of monkeys that are very playful. But you have to be careful, because when they get too playful their parents might get aggressive or they themselves and start to bite.Written 23 December 2024
- hapitravelz0 contributionsExcellent Bangkok sights &local vibe. The best day in Bangkok. We’ve done a few tours of Bangkok and this was by far the best. Thank you Ms Imm, you really made this tour relaxing, informative, a perfect balance of “must see” activities mixed with sights only the locals would know about. If I only did one tour, it would be this.Written 13 December 2024
- lcorey160 contributionsHighly recommend this tourI went on this tour of Bangkok with my son and we had a great time. Imm, our guide, was fantastic. We did fun things and learned a lot.Written 8 December 2024
- Kaiya08080 contributionsUnique ancient temples and up close monkeysWhat a fantastic unique experience! Our guide Geng was welcoming and had great facts about each location. He was friendly and ready to answer any questions we had, ensuring we had a great trip. The ancient temples are a great sight in contrast to the modern golden temples in the city and the monkeys to end the trip were such a highlight. The locations were each interesting and we spend a good amount of time at each without feeling rushed or bored. I’d definitely recommend this trip to people visiting Bangkok. Thank you to our guide Geng and also our driver!Written 3 December 2024

- CasaDelfinAzul0 contributionsThey couldn't care less.I encourage everyone that want to visit this country to make sure you go take some Thai classes first, we lost our tour that day because the grab driver got lost and didn't pick us on time, even do we where up since 5:30am, He didn't speak English so he didn't understand our pick up point, so we where late, I try calling but they could wait for us, I understand is not their fault , but it wasn't our fault either that they live out of tourism here and don't even try speaking the basics, they try to reschedule, but on a day we where all ready gone. They said they sorry for my situation that is high season, but pretty much in other words is like, we don't really care we all ready have your money and don't even bother to try helping you. Anyways I know this been the worst country I ever visited and I will never again waist nor my time, nor my money here again. Hope Karma doesn't hit you hard.Written 21 November 2024
- frederikg5180 contributionsA fascinating trip to some of the most significant religious and historic sites north of BangkokI think this might well be one of my favorite tours I have done during my stay in Thailand. Meeting at a key MRT station made it a remarkably easy start to the day, and after 7/10 participants ended up having to reschedule, we ended up getting what was effectively a private tour for the three of us who had turned up to the tour. What followed was a string of exciting and fascinating stops at the major religious and political sites associated with the Ayutthaya Kingdom of the 14th-18th century, visiting some of the largest and most imposing temples in the country. As a history lover, I was delighted by how knowledgeable and engaged our guide Mr. Geng was with the tour, constantly sharing anecdotes and tidbits about the various sites, with a particular love for the vairous ghost stories which were associated with the sites we were visiting. While I enjoyed all of the stops on the tour, the Grand Buddha statue with its numerous associated displays, the Lopburi Temple with its fun-loving monkeys and the two grand temples of Ayutthaya were among the most enjoyable of the stops.Written 20 November 2024

- chloesA6614GP0 contributionsThe best day with GangMy friends and I had the absolute BEST day with our guides Gang, Jojo, and Johnny. It was an intimate tour where our guides provided tons of historical facts and local recommendations to us to get the most out of our visit to Bangkok. They had plenty of cold water for us, accommodated bathroom and snack breaks, took lots of group photos for us, and treated us to a couple of secret gem restaurants and cafes throughout the day. The monkey temple was definitely a highlight of the excursion.Written 6 October 2024

Booked as a group tour but was accompanied by the driver, guide and an apprentice guide. Really informative and great fun. The wild monkeys in Lopburi added and interesting dynamic.Written 30 September 2024

An amazing & exciting day with our fantastic guide Kim who arrived an hour early at our hotel! You get to choose what you want to experience & we had emailed our request the day before. We had originally asked to start at 10.30 and Kim advised an early start at 7 which paid off as we were first into the Royal Palace & saved hours waiting in line! Next was the reclining Buddha which was just wow! Kim arranged all the transport we needed and when I didn’t fancy the long tail boat (can’t swim!) he immediately arranged a taxi to take us to the floating market which was just fab!
Kim gave us beautiful orchid garlands at the start of our day and flowers as offering to the Buddha at each site we visited. He has a lot of knowledge to share with you and he took great care of us providing water for us from his little magic bag & took care of our shoes when we had to remove them for the temples. He also arranged a variety of Thai food for us try at lunch time at the floating market. You do have to pay for the admission fees, transport costs & lunch for yourself & your guide and you’re told the day before how much it will cost, so no hidden extras! Fantastic value for money and an excellent day - we would highly recommend it! Thank you Kim for making our visit to Bangkok so special.

This was our first visit to Bangkok, and with only 2 days in the City we wanted to spend our time efficiently and see as much as possible. With that in mind this was the perfect trip. Our guide, Ken, phoned shortly after we booked online and asked if there were any sights that we particularly wanted to see. When he picked us up from our hotel the next day (11am) he had an itinerary sketched out. We walked to the nearest boat terminal and off we went. We focussed on the major temples and the Royal Palace (which are all extraordinary). We asked to go on a boat trip down the river and canals, which Ken sorted after the Palace visit. We had a fantastic lunch (very cheap and great Thai food). We skipped the flower market and backpackers area because we had been there the night before, so Ken wrapped it all up with a rooftop bar at sunset overlooking the river. Ken gave us a full 8 hours of his time, perhaps the most enjoyable of which was getting to know him over a beer in the evening, and understanding a bit more about his story, meditation, Thai life and more.
It’s worth noting that the costs of entry to the various temples/palaces, boat rides, Tuk-Tuks etc are additional. (This is also clear when you book online). But Tuk-Tuks are cheap (and fun) and the entry prices are generally pretty good. I highly recommend this trip. For the more adventurous (or if you have more time) it could be fun to do it all without a guide - but I suspect that we would have missed a lot of the sights that only the locals know, and Ken took dozens of photos of us at all the locations (knowing where the best shots should be taken) and he has already sent them across via WhatsApp.

Bella was a great tour guide and it was definitely worth having a local private guide to show me the sights. She gave so much more background and history about the temples and other major sights around the city that I would have never gotten if I did this own my own. Plus, I didn't have to worry about navigating to each place and where to go next.
I told her what I wanted to see and she put together our rough itinerary. I can't imagine being in a big group tour and going to the temples because it was really crowded. We were able to make our way around easily and I could always hear what she had to say. Plus she knew all of the great picture spots.
I was in Bangkok 3 nights and I have to recommend resting a day before getting in and doing the full-day tour. I got in the night before and was really fading by the end of it. Have a free day the day after your tour so that you visit other sites you might have missed. She gave great recommendations for other things to see but I had another tour booked outside the city for the next day.
I told her what I wanted to see and she put together our rough itinerary. I can't imagine being in a big group tour and going to the temples because it was really crowded. We were able to make our way around easily and I could always hear what she had to say. Plus she knew all of the great picture spots.

I was apprehensive when I booked the private guided tour in and around Bangkok as this is our second and last full day in the city. Mr Kim contacted me the night before and I told him my wife dont like a lot of walking in the hot Bangkok sun. We met at the hotel for an early pickup and Mr Kim presented us our day itinerary and the cost for transportation and entrance fees. Mr Kim knows the area very well and we were first in line to the Grand Palace thereby avoiding the big crowd. The rest of the day was leisurely and Mr. Kim took the time to explain the names and history of each temples and buddhas. I highly recommend the private tour and Mr Kim in particular. He is a pleasant young man and teaches Thai history in the university. I'm from Los Angeles, California.

We met our guide, Ohm, at our hotel right on time and off we went for the day!
We were able to determine the places we wanted to visit in advance, so we had a "plan". But, the great part of this, was that Ohm set the itinerary (and the method of transport which included Tuk Tuks, local boat, BTS Sky Train, taxi and some walking) which involved maximizing our time.
A long time tour guide, Ohm, absolutely knows what he is doing, the history of any place you want to visit and where to eat and was flexible to our needs during the day.
If you have limited time in Bangkok, this custom experience is entirely worth the price! And if you don't have limited time in Bangkok, lucky you, go out for the day anyways to get more knowledge of the local people...

We had an amazing tour with our only one full day in Bangkok with Kim, we saw so much, and we're so happy that we took this tour rather than try to see the sights on her own, because that definitely would not have been possible, Kim arranged transportation to the temples and we also took a tuk-tuk instead of walking a far distance to another area. We really enjoyed the boat ride to Wat Arun, and seeing that side of the river. Kim provided so much detail into the history of every site that we visited, he really knows everything that there is to know! we would definitely recommend this tour if you're trying to see a lot in a short amount of time, especially if you just have a day or so in Bangkok.
Note that you will need to pay 2700 Baht in cash before the day starts, this was used for the transportation, entrance fees, etc. It was a bit more than we expected to have to pay.
We also needed to pay extra for the food that we ate at the floating market so make sure to have some spare money on you. Definitely wear good walking shoes as you will be walking a lot, and make sure to bring lots of sunscreen!
Overall this is a great tour and highly recommend it, you will be especially lucky to get Kim as your guide!

First and foremost, we must give infinite praise to our kind, intelligent, understanding and experienced guide James. He gave us insights you truly will not find with audio books or friends or Google. Beyond his vast expert knowledge and very high level English, James also knew all the very best photo spots at each of our destinations. Truly an experienced guide and a gentleman. He also took care of us when using Tuktuks and other transport. He really did get us such a good deal that when I tried to haggle with other drivers without him, they just wouldn't budge.
All in all, this experience was 100% worth it to me as a foreigner who doesn't speak a lick of Thai. Don't worry about covering costs at major sites either as Thais have free access to all the temples and palaces since, well, their taxes paid for it I presume. James not only deserves praise but I would even nominate him for Nobel prize or other type of medal.
Thanks so much James! You made our first day in Bangkok so awesome!
Dont worry about the cost my friends, just book it and don't worry about a damn thing***!
***You at least need to have a vague idea of places you'd like to visit as this tour is custom to your own interests so do at least a little research then go at your own pace!
Thanks again James!!!!

Our tour guide (Ohm)was excellent . He went out of his way to explain and show us place’s. He also was forthcoming with information to help us later not to get cheated and how to get around . As far as the tour operators just have to be very careful. They just want to sell you things for overinflated prices that you don’t need. We were recommended to get a long tail boat for floating market for 3000 bhat prior to our tour starting . When we got there found out that you could book one way trip for 100 per person only. We travel a lot and generally very generous towards people who provide us service. It is the tour operator to be careful with doesn’t matter if you book through a reputable site or not they are all the same.

We were initially hesitant to get a tour guide as we thought we could probably manage ourselves, however as we only have a couple of days in Bangkok we wanted to make sure we made the most of the time. Our guide Num was amazing, she was very knowledgeable and kind and advised on what was best in line with what I had requested as a tentative itinerary. Definitely take the private long tail boat ride down the canals and visit some of the local shops and villages - its a great way to cool off and see a different side to Bangkok. She then took us to a lovely rooftop bar to catch the sunset at the end of the day. Thanks so much Num!

We absolutely loved our tour with Ben! He was kind, funny, and super knowledgeable about everything that Bangkok has to offer. He was really flexible with our itinerary when lines were too long and even helped us negotiate souvenirs and Tuktuks. We would not have been able to see as much of Bangkok if it weren’t for this tour. If you’re on the fence about it, I HIGHLY recommend that you do it (and ask for Ben!)

Hello, I want to bookthe rout for Monday 19/12, but can I check in advance whether you can do the itinerary I have in mind please? I want to start 6.30am and go to the railway market, the floating market and finally the grand palace. We are two people. Is this reasonable and what extra expenses do we have for transportation please? I know the expenses for entry fees. Thank you!!

Hello, i would like to reply to your answer to my review (Toky19). Your language is very offensive as i haven't been paid for review!(btw I will report you to TripAdvisor). I am a REAL ANGRY CUSTOMER, who paid over $100 for a "private tour guide" and I got a escort service instead! You want to know who was my guide!? He was the man that picked Mr.TP(me) at hotel Grand Sukhumvit at 8:30 on Thursday 23/01/20! You can find out easily now....

Dear Toky19,
Thank you for your information and we appologize for the wording. It had been corrected. Now we know who your guide was and we will enquiry him about what happen and for now he will be suspended untill the enquiry is complete. A few quick questions. Looking to book full day on Feb 2 or 3
1. There are many departure time options. Is there a best time (considering crowds, heat, other considerations)?
2. Please confirm this is not a private car tour but you use public transportation to accommodate.. correct?
3. Transport fees, admission fees are extra... correct?
4. When would you contact me to arrange the itinerary?
5. Does the cost you charge change based on the itinerary? I understand admission is extra.
Thank you!
Written 21 January 2020
