This was an amazing experience! Zarut took me to many places and I've tasted so many different dishes. His advice was solid; eating street food is no problem as long as you see it being prepared in front of you. As an European I was cautious but never experienced anything negative. I would truly recommend this tour!

We loved it! Our local - Kat - was extremely sweet, considerate and helpful. She picked us up in the lobby of our hotel. We went to see a few landmarks in Bangkok and also took a tour on the river, which was really great. She also took some pictures of us and sent them to us, which was really nice.

Had been to Bangkok many times but never visited Chinatown so we decided to use City Unscripted to book a private tour. Our guide, Kumpirada (Kat), met us at our hotel on time and ready to go. We used local transportation (which we really like to do) to get to and from Chinatown and Kat paid for everything. We arrive a little after 4 PM and visited the Golden Buddah and walked the main and some side streets in the daylight. Kat explained that the area transforms after dark and was she right. Street vendors set up stalls everywhere and Kat encouraged us to enjoy some of the food which we did. Kat paid for everything and the local foods we tried were fantastic. On our own we would have never tried the food but are really glad we did. This tour added to our Bangkok experience and would recommend it to everyone.

Kat Yindee took us on a great food tour of Bangkok's Chinatown. She knew a number of the vendors and has a passion for the food. She was a lot of fun to spend time with. And when we expressed interest - and were worn out by the heat - she took us to a new mall to see a different kind of Bangkok shopping.

Fantastic option for a reasonably priced private tour! Kat was a great host. Knowledgable and on time. She went out of her way to keep it fun and interesting. She contacted us in advance to ask about our interests. I would absolutely use this sightseeing options again.

Do not get sucked into this trip - it is a total tourist trap - they charge soooo much it’s ridiculous. Waste of money to get a boat around the markets which sell the same as you can get in Bangkok - it takes 1and half hours to get there in the taxi too- so not bother with this trip!!!

So for three amazing days our guide Jojo took the two of us by the hand and led us around this amazing city. Custom hand made tours that reflected us as a couple, away from tourists, and into the real life Bangkok, new and old. If you wanted to experience this city then there is no better tour.

the host came to our lobby, we did nice visiting to some tempels, we used a taxi, boot and skytrain. it was a great help to know how things go in Bangkok. the thing we didn't like was that he was very intereseted in his telephone. May be it is normal for this youth but we don't like it. At the end he told us the way back to the boat

We met our guide Isabella in the reception of our hotel She was European but living in Bangkok and had a great knowledge of the city and it’s cultures We would not have done so much as we did if we had tried to go alone

We were a little disappointed with our private tour. The guide did not contact us until the day before and this was after 2 emails asking when we would be contacted. We spent along time walking through the Chinatown part of Bangkok seeing the same thing! We saw very little of Bangkok. The guide also did share a lot of information and had trouble answering our questions.

We had our day tour in Bangkok with Chatchai. Everything was amazing , cannot rate it high enough. Chatchai provided excellent service , valuable information , he was friendly, with great sense of humour. The itinerary was great , visited some amazing places like the Grant Palace and never felt like rushed . We had a good introduction on the local way of living by visiting local markets and taking local transportation. Everything was very carefully planned. Definitely recommend.
