Wonderful and informative day in Bangkok
Yuut was a great guide. Being a former monk, he was able to relate to us information on Buddhism and how it applies to the temples and the palace. What an enjoyable day. We had a one year old with us, and he was great at allowing time for us to take care of him. Your Thai Guide tour agency was great in communication through emails and made the reservation process easy. It would definitely use Yuut and Thai Guide Tours again on another trip to Thailand. What a memorable time!

Fantastic Bangkok tour with Ning Lee
We had a full day in Bangkok with tour guide Ning Lee and she was wonderful. She planned the whole day around what we wanted to do and see and nothing was too much trouble . We went to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun. We went on a tuk tuk, had a private high speed long boat ride for an hour and also went on the metro. Ning organised it all and also organised a great lunch at a small local restaurant by the river which was lovely. Ning's knowledge of Bangkok and all the temples was fantastic and her English was excellent. Would absolutely recommend Ning if you are visiting Bangkok. Thank you. 🙏

          Meh.
We submitted our wishlist months in advance and booked based on the fact that the company assured us we could visit Erawan Falls and Kanchanaburi in one (long) day. When we discussed with our guide, he was not in favor of this plan and we had to cancel the waterfall portion. We left at 6am from Bangkok. The guide’s poor time management at our first 2 stops caused us to miss the train in Kanchanaburi. We also didn’t get much information at our stops. We had to ask questions in order to learn about the places rather than the guide presenting the information. The Jeath Museum was a terrible stop - if I had known the guide wouldn’t be prepared to speak about anything there, I wouldn’t have kept it on my list. Overall we were unimpressed by the day trip to Kanchanaburi. I wouldn’t book this guide again.

Gwen is a Great tour Guide
We did the one day tour with Gwen. We wanted to see Chinatown before staying there later in our trip. We asked Gwen to show us some other site we wouldn’t find on our own. We stopped in the Thai Culture museum which was great. We also visited the Turtle temple and Wat Saket Ratchawora Mahawihan, both remarkable! The day consisted of Thai history, culture, beauty, and trains, cars, tuk tuk, and boat rides.

Excellent guide Kiki and great customer service.
We hired Kiki and a private driver for three days and it was well worth it. It was our first trip to Bangkok. Kiki was excellent and took us places we would have never seen on our own. Highly recommend.

          Highly recommended
Highly recommended. The tour with Yuut was a great experience. Anyone with even the slightest interest in Buddhism should choose this tour. He has a breadth of insight and a calm, uplifting, friendly demeanor. He handled everything and of course has great restaurants or street food options for you. To those less interested in Buddhism, don’t worry, Yuut will still take your pictures and tailor the tour to your desires.

          Amazing Ayutthaya trip
If you love history this is the trip for you. I Had amazing trip. From the time they picked me up in deluxe air condition van. To the time I got back to my hotel Gwen is an excellent guide with an obvious passion for Thai history, architecture, Buddhism. She answered all of my questions (quite a lot )without being pedantic or droning on. The ruins were stunning breathtaking. It’s hard to imagine what was achieved centuries ago without modern technology

Unethical Grab Car Service in Bangkok
Disappointing End to Our Trip: Overcharged by Unprepared Grab Driver Our departure from Bangkok was marred by an unsavory experience with Grab. The car, which arrived to take us to the airport, was unsettlingly squeaky and rattly. However, the real issue arose when we reached our destination. The fare came to 380 baht, but David only had a 1000 baht note. To our surprise, the Grab driver didn't have change, and instead of apologizing or finding a solution, he simply took the entire 1000 baht, leaving us with no receipt or refund. What's more alarming is that Grab's cash-only policy in Thailand, unlike Malaysia, allowed this driver to take advantage of us. This encounter left a sour taste, making it the most expensive and disappointing Grab experience we've had.

          Excellent tour by Guide Yuut!
Guide Yuut in Bangkok was exceptional. As a former Buddhist monk, Yuut brought unique insights and deep knowledge to our temple tours. His practical experience shone through in his explanations of Buddhist practices. Being an experienced meditator himself, he offered valuable perspectives on the spiritual aspects of the sites we visited. His background added an authentic and enriching dimension to our exploration of Bangkok's Buddhist temples, making for a truly memorable and educational experience. We felt really taken care of, as he negotiated fares with tuktuk drivers also brought us to reliable places to eat authentic Thai food at very reasonable budgets. Thank you for everything Yuut!

          The best tour in Bangkok
It was such a pleasure taking part in a private tour led by Gwen. Not only did she design a custom tour based on our interests, but she had extensive cultural and historic knowledge of the city - wherever we went she had a fun fact and a lot of background information. She is so kind and professional. I would highly recommend taking any of her tours.

          Private guided tour of Bangkok
Kim was a great guide for Bangkok, really friendly and accommodated all the things we wanted to do. She also took us to places we hadn't thought of and got us access to tables in restaurants. We'd not have seen as much of the city without her guidance and energy!!

Our guide Oil accommodated our requests and came up with a fascinating schedule of activities to enjoy. Her knowledge of the city and facts were told in an entertaining and informative way with excellent English
. Our tour included using the tuk tuk and MRT; Grand Palace and temple Wat Pho, (reclining Buddha) ; an amazing veggie restaurant, the vibrant flower market ; colourful theatre show depicting ancient stories of Bangkok; long tail boats along the canals and a foot massage to complete the day from the original Thai school of massage. She also suggested “the deck “ venue for the sunset view of Wat Arun”Thoroughly recommend this guide as an introduction to Bangkok.

Today, I had a 14 hours layover in Bangkok, and so I decided to go for a private tour and it was the best choice I could have made! Kiki, my private guide for the day, contacted me in the afternoon the day before and on the exact day, she picked me up at the airport,as we had agreed before, and tried her best to take me to every place I had on my list. Since I arrived to Bangkok at noon and was eager to see many places, we were on a pretty tight schedule due to limited opening times. But she was very flexible and attentive and we managed to see the Grand Palace and the Temple of Emerald Buddha, Khao San Road, Flower Market and the Chinatown and also tasted the local food. All this wouldn't have been possible without Mr. Wat either, who drove us in his tuk tuk throughout the evening to all places and even playlisted songs according to our taste! Since we didn't have enough time to visit Wat Arun during opening times,Kiki and Mr. Wat took me to a place by the river to snap a picture of the temple at least from the outside at the sunset. I had a great time and definitely recommend taking tours with Kiki as she will do her best to organize the tour according to your taste! Thank you so much!

We had a very enjoyable day with our Tour Guide Chartree. We didn’t have a specific itinerary but he took us to various districts in Bangkok which signified the various cultures in this city. We experienced the canal community, the Portuguese quarter, various temples , the Grand Palace before finishing off in the more modern areas of Bangkok. We sampled all aspects of public transport ( including the infamous tuk tuks)and visited an authentic Thai restaurant for a delicious meal.
It was a wonderfully packed day and Chartree’s incredible knowledge meant it was a very informative one as well. He was an excellent guide and brilliant listener, answering our many questions.
Bangkok is a very interesting and vibrant city and well worth a visit. I would thoroughly recommend a guided tour like we had and would endorse Chatree as an excellent guide.

Choochai was a wonderful private tour guide! He was on time. He has a very pleasant demeanor and is soft spoken. He was thoroughly knowledgable not only about Thai history and the places that we saw together, but he was supremely skilled at navigating through back alleys and other places in order to avoid foot traffic and general congestion. I wound up walking over 15,000 steps with Choochai over an 8 hour period. When he first arrived at my hotel, we spent a few minutes together going over the plan for the day. He was flexible and understanding about what I wanted to see and do. He also had great suggestions so we really wound up having a day that was perfect in every way - timing, sites visited, etc. In fact, he recommended that we see a show at the end of our tour that of the Grand Palace, and it was included in the admission price! It wound up being absolutely phenomenal. The costumes worn by the actors were dazzling, and the live music that accompanied the historical story was beyond expectation! On top of all of that, Choochai recommended a fantastic Thai massage parlor where I was able to get a wonderful foot massage! I would highly recommend Choochai as a private guide. One really important thing about Choochai is that he was very selective in the timing of sharing historical knowledge such that I did not feel overwhelmed or that he was "oversharing." He often came back to points he made earlier, which really helped me connect the dots and enjoy a higher level of understanding about the historical significance of the sites visited. Seriously, this gentleman is at the TOP OF HIS FIELD!

We LOVED our private tour with Apple through Bangkok. She met us at our hotel, we discussed our options for what to see that day. Apple guided us through Bangkok with such ease. From getting us to each destination which included Way Traimit Temple, private Long Boat tour through the Canals to floating market (best way to have lunch), Wat Pho Temple and to end the day an amazing rooftop bar to watch the sunset. Since cash is the way to pay for everything Apple made it so easy to pay the right amount, usher us through each temple with ease and explain the history & love of each place we visited. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Any visit to a major city we will always be finding a private guide in the future.

I was traveling solo to Bangkok for work and had a full day free in advance. Not having been to Bangkok before and having limited time, I booked this tour and it was the best thing I could have done. My guide Waza was so wonderful. Kind, funny and very much catered to my interests. First, with it being a national holiday and SO many people and tourists being out for the celebrations, plus schedule changes for some of the main sights, there's no way, I would have managed to see what I did on my own. Plus I learned so much!

        Here's how it went down:
        - Waza met me in the lobby of my hotel and we reviewed my primary interests, discussed whether I preferred public transit or taxis (I picked public), and the weather factors.

        - It was the King's birthday meaning the Grand Palace was closed, but the temple with the Emerald Buddha would be open until around noon, so we started there. Upon arriving it was chaos because the King had some to the palace so they shut everything down until he was going to leave. We waited an hour for him to leave so that we could get into the temple but because of where Waza had us wait to get in we ended up seeing the King as he was leaving! That was quite fun as everyone was very excited.

        - Wat Phraw Kaew was a beautiful temple and very much enjoyed. A lot of history to be learned and Waza was great at explaining everything.

        - After that we walked along the river and thought about going to Wat Arun but the lines for the ferries were insanely long. I wanted to do a long-tail boat ride but those were also limited due to the Royal Barge being on the river for a ceremony. Luckily Waza knew what to do and spoke to the right people so without too much difficulty (other than waiting again) we were able to get a long-tail boat. Very much enjoyed that part of the tour and would recommend.

        - Once we got back we went for lunch at a great place that could accommodate my vegetarian requirements.

        - After that we crossed the street to Wat Pho and, again, Waza was there with loads of history and shepherding me to the right places and easiest way of seeing it all.

        - I wanted to see the Flower Market so we walked around there for ages (stopping in the air conditioned shops for a break along the way!), as well as the fruit, vegetable and herbs market.

        - Along the way I was given choices of what I felt like doing. At this point it was getting late so Waza suggested the river boat back to the other end of the city. Great views of the riverfront and skyline. We then too the Skytrain back to my hotel.

Overall a wonderful guide and a great way to see a lot of Bangkok in one day! Plus I was given great recommendations for other things to do in the evenings during the week, which I followed through on.

Phenomenal experience with Visan! He’s super knowledgeable about the history of Thailand and grew to enhanced our experience and understanding of this beautiful country! We toured the palace, various temples, floating market, and Chinatown and we had such an AMAZING time! He introduced us to so many great eats and took it at our pace. He also worked to negotiate the price for different activities.

We had a BLAST and highly recommend this service to anyone that wants to see the goodness Thailand has to offer.

We always arrange a tour guide every time we visit a big city with very little time. Annie our tour guide was very good and took great care of us throughout the day. She was knowledgeable and clearly had a passion for Buddhism and alternative medicine. The sites were absolutely packed and she made sure we did not become disconnected at any time. I would recommend a tour guide every time.

I booked this tour as I was a solo traveller and wanted to see the main sites with ease and go to places I might not usually on my own. I had Apple as my tour guide and she was amazing. I had a few ideas but she created the itinerary, took my on trains, boats and by walking which was great to see the city by different points of view. She is super knowledgeable, and a fab personality which made the whole day super fun! Would recommend this tour and Apple, to everyone 😊

Everything was great, the tour was with Oil. She sent us a confirmation via WhatsApp the day before and then came to the hotel in the morning, discussed everything with us and explained to us about entrance fees etc. The tour then went right through Bangkok, by subway, by tuk tuk and a lot on foot, just as we wanted. Oil explained all sorts of things to us about the city and life in Thailand and was able to answer all our questions. The tour was definitely worth the money!
