Discover a side to Bangkok that many visitors miss on a tour focused on the Bridge on River Kwai and the Thai-Burma Death Railway, an ideal choice for history buffs. Choose from a group or private tour depending on your preference, and travel between landmarks in the air-conditioned comfort of a coach. Plus, all entrance fees, lunch, and hotel pickup and drop-off are included for a seamless experience.
Your tour begins with hotel pickup in Bangkok, where you’ll board an air-conditioned coach destined for the Bridge on River Kwai. During the journey, your guide provides an overview of how thousands of prisoners of war were forced to work on a railroad track that connected Myanmar with Thailand.
Stop first at the Bridge on River Kwai before continuing to a section of the Thai-Burma Death Railway and two cemeteries that pay tribute to the 16,000 prisoners that died during the construction of the railway. After a Thai lunch at a local restaurant, your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.
