The Annapurna Basecamp (ABC) is a trek of a lifetime! Wade through the forests and mountain trails of the Annapurna Sanctuary, experience the local tea houses, eat local foods, meet fellow trekkers, make lifelong friends, and see the sunrise crest over the Himalyan mountains at ABC. It will be one of the most memorable experiences you will have.
Trek with Madu, a local professional guide from Pokhara with over 10 years of trekking and guide experience. On top of reaching ABC, you will also learn about surrounding nature, and the lifestyle, food, and culture of Gurung people.

He knows a lot about his culture and nature. If you want, you can try some food from the forest because he knows what is possible to eat. He always wants you feel good and he makes all the moment magic time like dancing at the top of the mountain :)))). I feel secure with him all the time, he let you alone if you want your time but he is here when you want to speak and share something. To be honest I could not imagine a better guide. He took good care of me throughout the trip before and after, from applying for my permit, arrange airport pick up and drop off, local transportation, making sure i stay warm, eat well and relax during the trek, noticing me whenever there is good photo shooting spots and taking good pictures and video for us, etc. He made my travel free and worry free! He is knowledgable about the trek, his countries, culture and the mountains. Madu is a happy funny guy, he can talk, but he also respect your time alone. He takes time to connect with his customer, knowing their travel style and appetite, as well as sharing his experience and life philosophy too. You so closed to the sky that you feel you can touch the sky, that's the feeling I had while doing the Mardi Himal Trek. Doing this trek with Madhu was just a fabulous experience. He knows where to bring you so you live a full 100% Nepalese experience. Madhu brings you to places where you will be the only tourist. Madhu knows how to listen to your needs and adapt the trek to you. You will get wonderful discussions and lot of fun with him. After 10 days in the mountains (we combined Mardi Himal and Poonhill), I didn't get enough, so I already booked my next trip with Madhu. We had a great time with him during our 2 week trek of the Manaslu circuit, and afterwards, in Pokhara, we visited him a few times during our stay. We absolutely recommend trekking together with Madhav, as he is the perfect companion when you find yourself trekking in the Himalaya region. He was so kind and generous to help us instantly clarify and coordinate our coming up trips to Ghandruk and Pokhara itself. He offered me his backpack for the hiking in Ghandruk as I forgot mine in the city. He coordinated the ride overnight for us to safely reach at our destination. He is such a kind and genuine person who made my trip really special. I couldn't have asked for a nicer local to meet and get to know the area with. Fantasic communication! He was a great guide for everything!Madu actually worked with me while I was still in the US to rent an apartment for 3 months, met me at the airport, made certain I had special experiences, bailed me out of many situations caused by language challenges and helped me more times than I can count when I got lost just walking around Pokhara. I am glad that I decided to book a tour with AAA Treks and Expedition. I was my first time to go to Pokhara last April 2019 and my guide Shree was very professional and fun to trek with. The views were not that clear due to the fog but during the end of the trip we were able to see Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchhare. I cannot wait to go back book a tour again!

Me and 2 friends went trekking and stayed a night at Australia Camp.
It was an amazing experience, Madhav was like another of our friends! He was so friendly and accommodating! We went as fast or slow as we wanted ni pressure. He clearly loves what he does!
He took us to all the best spots for all the best veiws!
Would definitely recommend and hope to return myself!

It was an amazing speechless trekking with Mr. Madhov to Australian base camp . He was so helpful and friendly all the way , he didn’t rush nor push over to reach that camp , just one advice , take your time , enjoy your moments and carry on . His support was significantly friendly and encouraging.

Madhav is a great guide and amazing person. He knows what he does, by heart. And always keen to make sure his customers are comfortable and having a great time.

I have 22 countries and i have travel with many tracel and trekking guide but aaatreks owner or guide madhav khanal is one of the best guide in my life. Budget travel , nature friendly, helping nature as well as caring . I hope again and again i will travel with you . I still didnt forget that make you fun and laugh while travelling. I had the best time while trekking with Madhav. He took really good care of me, especially when I sprained my ankle. Madhav really knows his stuff when it comes to trekking. He takes care of everything (food, lodging, drinks) very well. He is a really kind and warm person! I would definitely trek with him again and recommend him to other people!

I did a 4 day trek out of Pokhara with Madhav Khanal. The hike is sometimes challenging, but approachable by most people. Madhav is very considerate and lets you take as much time as you need. He makes sure you are comfortable and well fed every step of the way. The scenery is stupendous and Madhav knows where to look for monkeys and points out many interesting environmental elements. He is very knowledgable about Nepal's history and culture and has a wonderful sense of humour. His English is excellent. Altogether one of the most memorable adventures of my life!!

Madhav was amazing guide, he made our experience absolutely incredible. We stayed in some beautiful locations across the 4 day Poon Hill trek. We had mixed levels of fitness but even on the hard days there was singing and dancing. I would 100% recommend this experience if you are visiting Nepal.

I'm from Seoul, South Korea. I trekked with Madhav Khanal who is one of the professional and kind person. While trekking, he treated me like as his family and old friend, that's why I could finally finish my journey safe and I feel like Nepal is my next home. I can't wait to visit Pokhara again!
저는 지난 3월 마두와 함께 안나푸르나 서킷 트레킹을 안전하고 즐겁게 마칠 수 있었습니다. 그때 마두를 처음 만났지만 오래 알고 지낸 친구처럼 금방 친해졌고, 트레킹 내내 친절하고 편안하게대해주었고, 초보 트레커였던 제가 끝까지 포기하지 않고 트레킹을 마칠 수 있도록 안내해줬습니다. 처음 여행한 네팔이었지만 이젠 제 2의 고향이라고 느낄 정도로 네팔이 좋아졌습니다. 올해 안에 또 트레킹할 획입니다.

We did the 4 days 3 nights trek with Shree and had a wonderful time. Shree was knowledgeable about the trails, he was a lot of fun and took care of us well. We saw beautiful nature, yaks, deer, monkeys and buffalos! We would definitely do the same trek again with AAA Treks and Exhibitions, or a more advanced trail.
