This trek offers the opportunity to escape Nepal’s tourist trails and venture in to the deep forests and high alpine pastures that flank the Annapurna ranges. The emphasis of Mardi Himal trekking is on the forest and wilderness zone of these mountains. Mardi Himal trekking, follows the least trodden trail away from the trekkers madding crowd with and providing an essence of exploration.
We ascend through Hindu villages and pristine oak and rhododendron forests to an alpine campsite that provides close up dramatic scenery of sacred Mt. Machapuchare, Mardi Himal and the Annapurnas. The great ice fields and the blue glaciers of the Annapurana sanctuary walls lie below. Some villages visited on this trek receive very few visitors and therefore retain much of their traditional charm. Mardi Himal trekking is one of the best Eco-tourism based trekking destinations in the Annapurna Himalaya region.
