Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu (1350m)

Pass By: Tribhuvan International Airport, Ring Rd, काठमाडौँ 44600, Nepal
As you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, our team will receive you and drive you to your hotel. You will be assisted to check-in the hotel. Take your time to rest from the jet lag. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Stop At: Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Bhaktapur 00977-1-4701148 Nepal
The day will be spent touring the durbar squares of the three old cities of Kathmandu Valley—Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Enlisted in UNESCO's world heritage sites, these durbar squares exhibit more than 100 years old culture, art, and architecture. You can also taste the local Newari food if you will. In the evening, you will be introduced to your team and will be briefed about the trek. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Lukla Flight and trek to Phakding (2652m)

Stop At: Tenzing-Hillary Airport (LUA), Lukla - Everest Base Camp Trekking Route 30, Chaunrikharka 56000, Nepal
We take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla (2800m). The scenic flight allows you to have first glimpses of the mountains, hills, rivers, and scattered settlements that make up the landscape of Nepal. Upon reaching Lukla, we start our trek immediately as we head towards Phakding walking through the forests. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Stop At: Phakding's Bridge, Dhudh 56000, Nepal
vibrant From Phakding, we head to the Gateway of Everest, Namche Bazaar. Following the trails of Dudh Koshi River, we walk through pine forests and cross small suspension bridges to reach Monjo, the entry point of Sagarmatha National Park. Continuing the trek amid rhododendron forest and walking past waterfalls and small settlements, we reach Namche Bazaar, the trading hub of Khumbu Region. An amazing panorama of Everest (8848m) can be seen from this town. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: Rest Day in Namche Bazaar

Stop At: Main Street, Namche Bazaar 56002 Nepal
For acclimatization, we spend one day in Namche Bazaar. We visit the Sherpa Museum where we can explore the Sherpa culture, tradition, history, and lifestyle utilities protected in their truest form. The visit will help you understand how the lives in the region were before tourism flourished in the vicinity. We also explore the market of Namche Bazaar and walk around the outskirts of the town. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Thame (3800m)

Stop At: Sagarmatha National Park Museum, Namche Bazaar 56000 Nepal
Leaving Namche Bazaar, we enter the quite rhododendron and pine forest and walk alongside Bhote Koshi River. We pass by many ancient monasteries like Phurte, Laudo Gompa, Thesho, and Mende. The trail continues uphill and upon crossing Bhote Koshi River, we reach the Khumbu Hydroelectric Project Plant in Thame. Thame house one of the oldest monasteries in the region and is yet untouched by woes of modernization. Overnight in Thame.

Day 7: Thame to Marulung (4210m)

Pass By: Mount Everest, Sagarmatha National Park 00977 Nepal
Still following Bhote Koshi River upstream, we walk past several monasteries adorned with prayer flags and prayer wheels. We cross the suspension bridges over several stream times, on our way to Marulung. The trekking starts to get difficult from here on due to thin air, so it is essential that we take slow and steady steps. Overnight in Marlung.

Day 8: Marulung to Lungden (4380m)

Pass By: Mount Everest, Sagarmatha National Park 00977 Nepal
It is a short day of the trek from Marulung to Lungden. We continue following Bhote Koshi River as we make a steep ascend amid a narrow valley with giant boulders. From Lungden, the view of Cho Oyu (8188m), Chamar (7287m), Kyajo Ri (6186m), and Thonak (5886m) looks stunning. Overnight in Lungden.

Day 9: Lungden — Renjo La Pass (5360m) — Gokyo (4800m)

Stop At: Renjo Pass, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
We climb on a steep and slippery trail uphill passing by Renjo Lake, Relama Tso, and Angladumba Tso to reach one of the three high passes—Renjo La Pass. From the top of Renjo La Pass, we will be greeted with the mesmerizing panorama of Everest (8848m), Makalu (8481m), Cho Oyu (8188m) and other snowy peaks of the region. Crossing the pass, we walk further on the steep trail to reach the beautiful Gokyo Lake. We enter Gokyo valley and stay the night relishing the mountainous surrounding.

Day 10: Hike to Gokyo Ri (5357m)

Stop At: Gokyo Ri Trail, Gokyo Ri Marg, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
Today, we hike up a steep path to Gokyo Ri (5360m). Gokyo Ri offers one of the finest views of Everest (8848m), Cho Oyu (8188m), Makalu (8481m), Lhotse (8516m) and other peaks of Khumbu region. We also get to see the ice giant Ngozumpa glacier, which is the largest glacier in Nepal. Gokyo Ri also offers a bird's eye view of the largest freshwater lake system in Nepal, the Gokyo lakes. Later, we descend to Gokyo village and explore the vicinity. Overnight in Gokyo.

Day 11: Gokyo to Thangnak (4750m)

Stop At: Gokyo Lakes, Sagarmatha National Park 44600 Nepal
We descend on a slippery trail as we walk through the icy moraines of Ngozumpa glacier. Enjoying the pristine Gokyo Lakes, we cross Ngozumpa glacier and reach Dragnag. We then climb uphill relishing the mesmerizing landscapes until we reach Thangnak. Overnight in Thangnak.

Day 12: Thagnak — Cho La Pass (5420m) — Dzongla (4830m)

Stop At: Cho La Pass, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
Today is one of the tough days as we cross the second high pass, Cho La Pass (5420m). We start by climbing uphill to Cho La Phedi, from where we walk on a difficult, icy trail which then turns into a steep and slippery path. After long hours of strenuous climbing, we climb up Cho La Pass from where we get an amazing view of the Khumbu Mountains. The downhill climb from Cho La Pass is equally challenging as the climb uphill. We put on our crampons as we walk down carefully, avoiding crevasses. A steady descend through the icy path, brings us to Dzongla for an overnight stay.

Day 13: Dzongla to Lobuche (4940m)

Stop At: Lobuche Base Camp, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
We gently stroll down from Dzongla with a close view of Cholatse (6335m) and Taboche (6367m). We walk past a series of the boulder and reach Chola Tso (4590m), from where we start ascending again. We come across some tombstones and tea shops on our way to Lobuche. We ascend alongside Khumbu glacier with a close view of Lobuche Peak (6119) to reach Lobuche. Overnight in Lobuche

Day 14: Lobuche to Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakshep (5170m)

Stop At: Everest Base Camp, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
We take careful steps as we climb through the ridge of Lobuche and Khumbu glaciers. Walking on the glacial moraines, we get to enjoy the view of the Khumbu Mountains as well as glaciers that make up the landscape on our way to Gorakshep. We continue our trek from Gorakshep on the steep and icy trail to reach Everest Base Camp (5364m). We can witness a breath taking the view of the Khumbu Mountains spread over the skyline as we stand at the foot of the giant Everest (8848m). After spending some time in the base camp area, we walk down to Gorakshep, where we will stay for the night.

Day 15: Gorakshep to Lobuche

Stop At: Gorakshep Viewpoint, Kala Pattar Ascent Trail, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
From Gorakshep, we hike up to Kalapatthar (5550m), before dawn, to witness the majestic effect of sunrise upon the gigantic mountains. Kalapatthar is the highest altitude of our trek and is the best viewpoint to witness the glorious Everest (8848m). We spend some time in Kalapatthar, enjoying the view of mountains all around before descending to Gorakshep. We retrace our trail to Lobuche walking amid Lobuche and Khumbu glaciers once again.

Day 16: Lobuche — Kongma La Pass (5535m) — Chhukhung (4730m)

Stop At: Kongma La Pass, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
Today we cross the last one of the three high passes, Kongma La Pass (5535m). We come across several frozen lakes as we trek on the rocky terrain that leads to Kongma La Pass. A strenuous climb to Kongma La Pass, the highest among the three high passes, fills the skyline with the majestic mountains of Khumbu region. We cross the pass and follow Niyang Khola downstream, and later walk alongside Imja Khola to reach Chhukhung. Overnight in Chhukhung.

Day 17: Chhukung to Tengboche (3860m)

Stop At: Tengboche Gompa, Sagarmatha, Tengboche 56002 Nepal
From Chukhung, we follow the trails of Imja Khola downstream to enter Imja Valley. We pass several Mani walls, monasteries, suspension bridges, and villages like Dingboche, Somare, Pangboche, and Deboche to reach Tengboche. Walking down the stone steps, we reach Tengboche Monastery, which is the most celebrated monastery of the Sherpas in the Khumbu region. The whitewashed monastery looks spectacular with the snowy mountains on the backdrop. Overnight in Tengboche

Day 18: Tengboche to Namche Bazaar

We continue following the trails of Imja Khola as we descend to Namche Bazaar. We reach the water driven prayer wheels of Phunke Tenga as we pass through several Sherpa settlements relishing the view of the mountains on the background. Walking through alpine forests and Mani walls, we reach the crowded town of Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 19: Namche to Lukla

We retrace our trail to Lukla walking alongside Bhote Koshi River. We leave the Khumbu landscape behind as we exit one village after another walking through the rhododendron and magnolia forest. Walking through several Mani walls, small gompas, and Sherpa settlements, we reach Lukla. Overnight in Lukla.

Day 20: Lukla to Kathmandu
