BEST TRIP EVER!
My husband travel all over the world and we both agree that this trip was the best one we have been on. We chose the Poon Hill trek with the add on to Chitwan National Park. This was our first trek so we decided to choose the easiest one. Bishnu and his business partner have the customers best interest! Nearly everything we needed was taken care of. Throughout the trip, Bishnu kept in touch with me to make sure everything was up to our standards (it most definitely was). On our last night in Kathmandu, they took us out to a traditional Nepali dinner with native dancing! It was a lovely send off. Our guide and Porter were amazing. Our guide, Pancha, made sure everything on our trek was taken care of including reserving the best tea house rooms ahead of time. He was very informative and spoke very good English. Our porter, Bhupendra, made sure we had everything we needed also. They were both amazing. When we come back to trek with Himalayan Sanctuary, we hope to have the same guide and porter. The experience in Chitwan was incredible. From the wonderful hotel and staff, to the jungle walks where we saw one horned Asian rhino, to the elephant bathing (we chose not to ride the elephants due to the trekking chairs and ethics), it was all a wonderful experience we will never forget. If you’re on the fence about booking, just do it. This company and its staff are the best. We will definitely be back!

#1 out of the 4 countries visited on our vacation.
We traveled to Thailand and then spent 7 days in Nepal, just not enough time to explore the country. Our tour company Himalayan Sanctuary Adventures made our journey fabulous. Bishnu and Prem are so hospitable they are flexible and customize your tour to the customers needs. Unlike other tours in other countries. We found the guides in other private tours always trying to take us to over priced vendors for an extra commission and rushing us through the temples and sites and we may have missed something by going here or there, my opinion they were pretty honest and gave back constructive criticism and very informative. We are there to see the country, experience the culture not buy things from everyone trying to take a commission, do your research if you want to take something home special. Our guide in Kathmandu was excellent so informative and got a lot history on Nepalese total hands on, energetic, fun, well spoken English. The Pokhara hotel was so friendly and staff worked hard to please. Food was excellent in all the hotels. Also ask them ahead time which hotels you are booked in, so you can prepare to do things when you are on the downtime if you want to stay closer into town they will be happy to accommodate, sometimes the pool may not be available due to weather and riding trek bikes in mountain may not be your thing. Bishnu was always in touch, making sure your room is up to standards. If you need something special, request ahead of time. I prefer to have a bathrobe after a long day washing up, hard to come by. All you need to do is let them know and it will be a arranged. If you prefer a 5 star hotel you can always upgrade. The food was excellent everywhere we stayed and service. Bring your rupees or enough currency to exchange and make sure you have new currency, they don’t like to exchange old bills or anything with a rip, tear or crease. There are toll transfers between areas and a lot to see so bring enough money to exchange. Being a US citizens even with a travel alert ATM’s didn’t always work FYI or out of money. This is the one place we plan to return to and pack accordingly for MT Everest and other cities. Wonderful experience we felt welcomed everywhere we went. Our last night we got to an experience some time with Prem and Bishnu and have a nice sit down dinner. We couldn’t thank them enough for such an enjoyable time. This country is rich with culture, colorful and always festive. We went at the perfect time, a lot to see and experience. Thank you, Sincerely Jen & Scott

Great cut through Nepali culture and landscape
We are a couple and stayed in Nepal for roughly 7 weeks in total as we were volunteering in a school in Kathmandu. As we wanted to see something of the country itself as well we travelled for one week through Nepal with Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure. It was very annoying that the company told and called us several times to ask us for a review on Tripadvisor and to add "five stars" to it. Nevertheless in the end we thought it might be helpful for other travelers to get some information and the tour is really worth an excellent five star rating. Katmandu: First of all: We did not include the Kathmandu-Start as we already stayed there for some time and visited some places there on our own. Pokhara: Is a little bit more touristic than Kathmandu. We stayed at the lakeside and liked it a lot. You will visit several highlights as the world peace stupa, the mountain museum and Sarangkot which are all a must see. Accommodation (***-hotel) was totally fine and we had a perfect view to the Himalaya when there were less clouds. Chitwan: We liked this place most in Nepal - absolutely astonishing and also quite clean in comparison to the other places. They really care about nature and garbage what was new for us in Nepal and we really liked that. Accommodation was really great (****-Hotel), had awesome included food, low prices for drinks and perfect/great tour-guides. The time spent there is unforgettable to us and we liked it a lot. Nagarkot: It is a quite long drive (almost 2 hours) to reach this place for some views of the mountains. We were unlucky and had no clear sight all the time we have been up there. Nevertheless it was quite peaceful for us and you are "outside the city" and we liked it up there. Accommodation was totally fine and the food was good and not very expensive. My wife also took a massage which was totally fine and price was quite low. The driver was just awesome and we had a great time with him. He did not speak that much to us but he fulfilled every wish at every time of the day that we had. We did not have any issues or problems on our way and could not have been served better. There are several nice places to see on your way and you might take some pictures out of the window. Nevertheless the roads are sometimes difficult and you need to be patient. Maybe one possibility we did not take but we would like to recommend: If you have two or three days more to spend on your tour we would think of taking a flight from Pokhara to Jomsom. It is a short trip which should not be too expensive and you will arrive in the middle of the mountains on 3000m above sea level. That must be a real great experience of the mountainside in Nepal one can get. All in all we can really recommend to take a tour with Bishnu (CEO of Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure). He was always available for us and cared for our happiness almost every day by sending at least sending an SMS. He also met us before the trip started and explained everything to us. Further on he joined the driver when he came to pick us up and welcomed us to the tour. Everything went totally smooth and we did not have any issues. Great company, great tour – we will be back with them at our next trip to Nepal!

Touched once by scenic view and twice by excellent services.
Firstly, I want to say thank you to Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure company team members. They were accommodating, friendly and knows how to make customers to be touched. I highly recommend this tour and company to people who firstly visit to Nepal and do trekking. Because,They always be open and willing to interact with customers. Even though views are highly dependent to weather and seasons, trekking itself was informative and safe. It might seems to little bit pricier than other similar programs, but I believe service quality we got worth more than cost. I want to do my next trip with this company again when I come back to Nepal. If you want to know more details with this tour, ask them directly XD.

Everything is excellent!
I am so glad we booked our trip with this company, the service is amazing! From transportation, food to accommodation, everything is high quality and they even included an amazing hotel for us with great views. The guide and porters they provided is also highly experienced and really friendly, they were able to give us really detailed explanations to our questions on the culture, geography and history. The whole trekking we had a really nice conversation and it was like trekking with friends. The views on the trek was also breathtaking, we could see the Himalayas and the villages in the valley..It was just so beautiful. Also, I would like to note that Phem and Bishnu, the owners and tour organizer really go out of their way to make us feel welcomed: they took us out for dinner and tea, accompanied us to the airport, bought us to a great place for cashmere the last day before we leave Nepal.. this tour is so great and I had an unforgettable experience. Lastly, I was worried before taking this trekking tour because I dont have good stamina, but the guide was very patient and understanding to let me rest in between. I will definitely book my tour with this company the next time I visit Nepal!

Solo trip for a few days in Kathmandu
I booked everything online a week or so in advance. I was contacted a few days prior to confirm pick up location by Bishnu Bhatta which made me feel at ease. When I arrived I got a SIM card (under 4 dollars for a sim with plenty of data, you can buy at the airport or anywhere on the street) and then I let Bishnu know my number in case he needed to call me via trip advisor messaging. The night before he re confirmed everything about what was included and not included in the tour I choose which was all clearly stated online. That morning I was picked up on time and brought to Chandragiri Hill to enjoy the cable car. My driver waited for me while I took the cable car up into the clouds and then above the clouds to the top. Being the rainy season I wasn’t expecting to see the Himalayan Ranges, the cable car was fun and had lovely views. There were a few bars at the top, a temple and a few restaurants, also a view point with binoculars. I was surprised that I did get to see the Ganush Himal Range off in the distance. I then got some vegetable pakoras and a hot lemon honey drink before heading back down. On the way down I messaged my driver and told him I would be there at the entrance in 15 minutes. The driver met me exactly where I got dropped off and then took me back to my Air BnB. Very polite and a safe driver. This tour I was on my own, so you get to experience it at your own pace. It was nice to have the transportation arranged. If you are the type of traveller who likes things pre arranged and booked then this was a good option. I do feel though that you could book your own taxi and go yourself if you are more of a spontaneous traveller for a lot cheaper, as the tour does not include the ticket price or meals (all stated online). Overall a great experience!

Friendly and very accommodating...quick service turn around..
Bishnu is amazing...We left all the planning to him and he did an amazing job. We were staying in an airbnb that was hard to locate. Before we landed in Kathmandu he made sure that he had located the place and talk to the owners. We booked many trips with him. One that comes to mind is the trip from Pokhara to Tansen. The prices are very competitive and when you convert to US$ it is an amazing deal. Thanks Bishnu for making our trip so enjoyable and pleasurable. Ram and Subha

Solo Female Nepal Adventure
Booking with Bishnu was easy and very friendly. I enjoyed every bit of the planned excursions in Kathmandu, Chitwan, Lumbini, and Pokhara. Although travel to and from the areas is a bit long, the hotels and accommodations made up for the travel. Personal drivers in Kathmandu and Pokhara were very friendly and helpful. Lumbini is a beautiful and cultural place and would recommend checking all the sites in the evening when it's less hot. Chitwan was a beautiful area and would recommend the safaris on the canoe and the cultural center performance. Overall incredible experience and cant wait to head back to Nepal! Would highly recommend this tour with Bishnu to everyone.

Gokyo Lakes trek is amazing!!
The Trek is really amazing. It is nice because it's not as busy as the Everest base camp trek and the views are equally good. The towns on the way are beautiful - the lodges are nice. I really liked the trek. On my trek I did hit a major snow storm and lost some of the views, but still it was a really nice trek.

Legitimate integrity
Sure, you can buy this experience almost anywhere in phokara..what you can’t buy is the ethical integrity Bishnu and associate showed me.. The day l was due to do my paragliding, a storm came in...was a non event!! The rest of my time in Nepal l’d other things planned so Rescheduling wasn’t an option. Bishnu and co made every effort to get too me in time before l flew out to head back to Australia, came to my hotel in Kathmandu with my refund.. That kind of service can’t be bought.. He’s my man when next in Nepal... From Australia.......thanks mate..

Hotel Thamel,Kathmandu.
On our recent EBC trek (Everest Base Camp), we were provided lodgings at Hotel Thamel in Kathmandu prior to and following our adventure. Very comfortable accommodation with amazing staff who ensured our needs were met at all times. I was unfortunate enough to have a medical helicopter evacuation after descending from Base Camp and spent a few days in Swacon International Hospital. Upon my return to Hotel Thamel, I was greeted by Bishnu asking after my health. I was promptly sent a complimenary basket of fruit, with a note wishing me a speedy recovery. There were a few more baskets of fruit offered to me along the way also which I found amazingly thoughtful. The staff could not have been more helpful. Of course this accommodation is different to places like Australia, Europe and America, but the hospitality was amazing, beds were comfortable and showers were hot! I recommend Hotel Thamel as a very comfortable and affordable accommodation whilst staying in Kathmandu.
