About
Boudhanath Stupa is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. The Temple of Lord Shiva, Pashupati Nath, with tow tiered golden roof and silver door is considered one of the holiest shrines for Hindus, although only Hindus are allowed inside temple, visitors can clearly see the temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river. After Lunch, continue moves towards the city of Bhaktapur, also known as the "City of Devotees." As you wander along bustling ancient alleys, your eyes naturally shift skyward towards the impressive pagoda rooftops. The must-see building in Bhaktapur is the 99-foot-high (30-m) Nyatapola Temple, with 5 pagoda roofs towering above the market square. The temple still holds great importance to local people, with constant offerings taking place amid the clanging and tinkling of big and little bells.

          Touring Kathmandu and Pokhara
We actually spent several days touring with Pigeon Travels. We were treated with paramount professionalism from the moment we were picked up at the airport! Our guides were knowledgeable, flexible, informative and very easy to understand. The director Min was VERY hands on communicating with us as well. We had problems with the visa for our onward travel and Min rallied his support staff during our emergency and managed to get us back on our way the very next day! I can not say in words how wonderful this company is!! Thank you Min!!

4 Days in Nepal, highly recommended!!!
We spent 4 days in Nepal, visiting different places with the Pingeon Travel Agency, Mr. Min Khatri was very friendly, helpful and was attentive to us at all times, with 24-hour service. for anything we needed and was attentive to us via WhatsApp every day. We booked everything from Spain, they picked us up at the airport and at the end they took us, including a driver, guide in Spanish, visits and hotels, and we had no problem, they complied with everything agreed and we were able to visit everything. The driver (Mr. Pawan) is a very good driver, friendly and kind, and the guide (Mr. Giri) is friendly and helpful. Punctual, helpful and attentive. We were in 2 different hotels, and both were very good, highlighting the one in Kathmandu, Hotel Hyatt Place Kathmandu, a new hotel, excellent service and very friendly. The Pingeon Travel agency is highly recommended and they have everything from tours to complete packages. We were happy with the services.

Patan and Bhaktapur-2 Ancient Medieval Cities
Our guide, Keshab, arrived early and was ready to go. He pointed out a variety of sites on the short trip to Patan. Keshab explained the guiding principles of Buddhism and Hinduism as he took us around to many temples, monasteries, and museums. It was a very pleasant and informative day.

          Popular attraction.
After visiting Gupteswar Cave, we walked to this place, a popular destination for tourists, there is admission ticket and one can reach the view point at lower level. It's better to avoid on a rainy day. It appears a person by name Davi slipped at this point and lost life so the name. we haven't visited Stupa due to constraint of time.

Great time with an amazingly friendly guide
Me and my girlfriend wanted a day away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and this was the perfect tour for us. Bhaktapur was beautiful with the aesthetically pleasing temples, statues, museum. Don't forget to try the Ju Ju Dhau or flavoured yoghurt there. It is to die for. The hike to Telkot was nice. Nagarkot was beautiful, we were lucky the sky was clear that day. The food Mystic mountain hotel was awesome. We loved the sunrise the next day. Waking up at 5am was definitely worth it.

          Great Inexpensive Fun
My son and I took a jeep tour through the National Park. We were so fortunate to see black rhinos. One even came right up to our vehicle for pictures of a life time.

          Nice Boudhanath Stupa Tour
Together with Krishna I visited the Boudhanath Stupa, which is huge and fascinating (I already saw the Pashupatinath Temple and you should definitely go there too). He drove me with his motorbike to the stupa. We walked around and drank something on a roof top terras. I had a nice time and can recommend the tour for sure. Krishna is really kind and he can tell you a lot about the temples, Buddhism, Hinduism and the Nepalese and Newari culture. I can also highly recommend his tour in Bhaktapur.

Best Thing I did in Kathmandu!
I found Kathmandu to be fun but very dusty. This private day hike was terrific - the best thing I did outside the city. The air was so fresh and clean, the drive to the start was interesting, the scenery beautiful, the peacefulness welcome, the guide very nice and the hike was not too difficult for this 73 year old. The temple at the end was beautiful. A good day of exercise worth rewarding yourself with a good beer and dinner!
