For the past year, Kishor has helped my daughter and myself plan an adventure through Nepal. We just completed our trip this past week. As I try and write this review, words fail me as I try to express how integrally, thoroughly and thoughtfully Kishor contributed to making our visit to Nepal and our trek through the Annapurna circuit a raging, banging success. But I’ll try. We’ve been lucky enough to visit Dubai, Turkey, Cambodia, and Uzbekistan in the past, so we have kind of surrounded the Indian sub-continent before, but never had the fortune of actually setting foot upon it. We didn’t know what to expect, but I do like surprises. To explore the Kathmandu valley, Kishor set us up with our personal guide, Mark: the valley surprised and it did not disappoint! We visited Patan and a bit of Kathmandu (I think!) before we left for the mountains, and then we visited the rest of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur when we returned from the mountains. The temple, palace, stupa and open-space architecture of these places was unlike anything I’d ever experienced before; the scale and detail somehow rendered the experience grand and intimate at the same time. I wandered a bit. Fortunately Mark was there to keep us safe from the traffic, Which is, a bit . . . chaotic. Mark also provided timely and brief historical-cultural exegesis that enhanced our understanding of what we were experiencing. Mark has been doing this for a while, it was obvious, and he’s read himself pretty smart. Between our sojourns in Kathmandu, Kishor arranged for us to fly to Pokhara and enjoy a 6-day, 5-night trek through the Annapurna foothills, boarding and sleeping in mountain lodges along the way. IT WAS FANTASTIC!! I should state at this point that while Kishor and I were planning this adventure, I was diagnosed with a neurological condition that affects my balance when I stand and leaves me with a fairly unsteady gait when I walk. I thought I would have to cancel our trip, the thought of which nearly broke my heart. Kishor bade me continue. He indicated that our guide and porter would provide me all the support I require, and that we could go as slow as necessary to keep me safe. They were true to their word. Our guide, Thapa, knew the trails well, and he supported me in all the areas where he knew I would need help. He was also very solicitous in asking me if I needed breaks, and we stopped whenever I needed to. (I cannot prove this, but I suspect that Kishor and Thapa were in communication every night while we were on the trail, making sure that I was being well looked after. THAT is how good the care was.) The “TREK”, that is: the trail; the community; the kindness; and the achievement, were everything I had hoped for, and more. The memories will last a lifetime, Kishor and Thapa made this happen for us. I only hope I can get back to Nepal someday. I can’t wait.

Before heading to Nepal, Kishor planned an itinerary that would suit my tour needs and he did not let me down. The tour of Kathmandu was remarkable. Mark, my tour guide was beyond brilliant. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. No question about history or religion or culture went unanswered. He was very patient and courteous. As a solo traveller, Mark and the driver Babu Ram made me feel very safe and secure and were highly respectful all throughtout the tours. It was a pleasure and an honor to have Mark as my tour guide. I highlt recommended Nepal Tours and Trekking (Kishor, Mark and Babu Ram). They are the true representation of Kathmandu.

My wife and I just completed an amazing two week trip to Nepal that we couldn't have done without the help of Kishor from Nepal Tour & Trekking Service. We started in Kathmandu with a great city tour. We then flew to Pokhara where we had a full day city tour including a nice boat ride on the lake. The next day we went up to a view point in Sarangkot for a beautiful sunrise before starting a 6 day/5 night trek through the Annapurna foothills. Our incredibly knowledge guide and porter ensured we had a number of experiences we wouldn't have had without (saw how locals made paper, tried some home made moonshine, visited an elementary school, etc.). After the trek we had a rest day in Pokhara before heading to Chitwan. Unfortunately, because of a late rain storm, our flight to Chitwan was cancelled. Kishor and Nepal Tour & Trekking, however, immediately stepped up and, within just a few minutes, got us a private car and driver to bring us down to Chitwan instead. In Chitwan we had an interesting jeep tour where we saw a handful of rhinos, a ton of a different types of deer, and a number of other animals including monkeys, peacocks, crocodiles, and all sorts of birds. From Chitwan we flew back to Kathmandu for two days of rest before heading home. On our last night in Kathmandu, Nepal Tour & Trekking arranged a great dinner with Nepali cultural show. In short, this was an incredible trip that Nepal Tour & Trekking made sure was smooth and easy for us. They were available every step of the way and made it so we never needed to worry about anything. I would 100% suggest Nepal Tour & Trekking for anyone considering going to Nepal.

I found Kishor through Travellocal.com and I must say he crafted our private tour of Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Bakhtapur and Poon Hill circuit trek perfectly. We only had 9 days in country so it was a very condensed trip. Everything was arranged ahead of time and very well organized. Tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Our trek guide Jaybir and porter Kobi were such beautiful, gentle souls. This trip, our first to Asia, was nothing short of life changing. Suzanne and I feel like we now have family in Nepal and are looking forward to our next visit. This is the best way to see this beautiful country without a doubt.

We spent about 18 days in Nepal focusing on the Everest Base Camp Trek in early April 2022. We had contacted to Mr. Kishor at Nepal Tour & Trekking Service P. Ltd after reading recommended reviews. It was an incredible adventure, great company and my guide Risav was simply the best on the trail! He was helpful, carrying and very professional. It's not an easy trail so you need a good guide there. We reached the Everest Base Camp and the Kala Patthar which is fabulous! All arrangements were perfectly made. The company was very accommodating from the beginning and Kishor, the owner, is a nice and helpful person, everything seems to run smoothly. We Did Muktinath tour in may 2022 with this agency. It was our pilgrimage tour. Arrangements was excellent. Kathmandu to pokhara jeep was in good condition and driver was experience and polite. Pokhara jomsom and jomsom Pokhara flight was on time and view was excellent. Jomsom to Muktinath road was not easy but experience driver took us safely. Overall, our trip was successful. My long awaited dream of visiting Nepal and its mountains finally came true when I contacted Nepal Tour & Trekking Service P. Ltd for Everest Base Camp trekking. I found them to be one of the best trekking agency in Nepal. When I expressed my views and questions by email, Mr. Kishor answered them promptly and made all the arrangements. When I arrived at the Kathmandu airport, Mr. Kishor was waiting for me with a garland and I immediately felt that I was in good hands. From the very beginning of my trip, I was impressed with the attentiveness of my guide. My guide, Bikash, was always by my side and took care of my every need. After reading good reviews of this company, we booked city tours. Huge disappointment! Our guide was not helpful, he left us alone too often, didn’t help us order in the local restaurant, and wasn’t informative of his city, almost as if he didn’t care about having guests.
