Overview
Kathmandu is the bustling, history-filled capital of Nepal, famous for its well-preserved Newar pagodas and centuries-old Hindu and Buddhist monuments. Historical sights are spread throughout the sprawling city, but you’ll tick off the top attractions in a single day during this comprehensive sightseeing tour, which covers the hilltop temple of Swayambhu, the sacred Hindu complex of Pashupatinath, and one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world.
What to Expect
Transportation around the frenetic, picturesque Nepali capital can be difficult to arrange, but relax in your own private vehicle as you cover all of the historical highlights in this tour.
After pickup from your hotel, travel to Kathmandu’s medieval quarter, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Durbar Square. View the city’s historical heart with an in-depth visit to the palaces and shrines making up the world-famous landmark. Also get a rare glimpse at the home of the Kumari, the sacred living goddess of Nepal.
Head next to Swayambhu, a hilltop temple famous for its panoramas of the city—and lively monkey population. See the famous mountain peaks surrounding the Kathmandu Valley from this out-of-the-way temple, which is best reached by car. Continue to tick off the city’s highlights with visits to Pashupatinath, a massive riverside temple dedicated to Shiva, Nepal’s patron deity, and Boudhanath, one of the world’s largest stupas.

Nice half day tour

You'll get to visit the top four attractions in Kat in a half day so you're not overloaded and have the rest of the day to get a massage. Guide was informative.

I don't know - I suggest you call or email Breakfree. I'm sure they will accommodate you as they are so helpful. The best company of three tour companies. Have a great time!
