Day 1: Memories for Life

Pass By: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
Memories for life!. -

Join us on this 15 day safari through Uganda, the 'Pearl of Africa,' that combines wildlife viewing, gorilla trekking, and chimpanzee trekking, all in one unforgettable package! These are Uganda's greatest hits, organized into an incredibly two-week adventure. We'll visit famous destinations, including Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This fantastic offer will bring you close to Uganda's precious wildlife.

Day 1: Travel from Entebbe Airport to your hotel
When you land at Entebbe airport, whatever time it might be, we'll be waiting to take you to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. The five hoes men guest house.

Day 2: Travel from Entebbe/Kampala to Fort Portal
After breakfast at your hotel, we'll drive you to Fort Portal (approximately 5 hours) where we'll have lunch, check in at the hotel. In the evening you can enjoy a walk through town to the Omukama (King's) Palace, take a nature walk, meet people in town, and enjoy a quiet dinner.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
After breakfast in the early morning at your hotel, we will drive 26km to Kibale National Park where we will purchase our Chimpanzee tracking permits. We will then continue our drive inside the park to Kanyancu, where we will register and attend a briefing held by the National Park Rangers under the Uganda Wildlife Authority. By 8:00AM the Rangers will begin leading you to track the chimps through the park for three hours. At 11:00AM your Trek Rwenzori guide will pick you up wherever you are in the park, and take you back to your hotel. (Optional: we can arrange the chimpanzee tracking for the afternoon, if preferred). The rest of the day will be free for you to enjoy around Fort Portal, and we'll be happy to arrange any activities that you might like to schedule.
Accommodation is at West end motel.

Day 4: Semuliki National Park and Amabere Caves
After breakfast at 9:00am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and drive to Semuliki National Park. There, we'll have see the amazing pools ("female" and "male" hot springs). We'll also have time for a forest walk, primate spotting, bird watching, and we'll be able to get views of the Albertine Rift Valley, and the Rwenzori Mountain Lower Ranges. On the way back to Fort Portal from Semuliki National Park we'll stop over for a visit at the historical and famous "Amabere ga Nyinamwiru" caves and waterfall.
Accommodation is at West end motel.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, we'll travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Just before reaching the park we'll have an opportunity to stop at the Equator for a photo-shoot and a view of the crater lakes. After paying the entrance fees at the park we'll begin a 4 to 5 hour game drive through the park. We hope to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, Waterbuck, Uganda Kobs, antelopes, crocodiles, and many, many species of birds! After lunch in the afternoon we'll board a boat for a cruise of the Kazinga travel (2 hours, 41km) before returning to our hotel for the evening. This will be a day to remember!.
Accommodation is at Bush Lodge.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth NP to Ishasha Section, QENP
After breakfast we'll drive through Queen Elizabeth Park to Ishasha section of the National Park. We'll check in at our hotel, have lunch, and then start another game drive tracking the famous tree-climbing lions. Ishasha has four prides of lions that climb trees daily, and are tracked so that Park Rangers can usually find out where they are. The tree-climbing lions are unique in the world! Other attractions in the Ishasha section include Topis, Giant Forest Hogs, Waterbucks, but to mention a few animals.
Accommodation is at river Ishasha Lodge.

Day 7: Driving from Ishasha to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, we'll drive 5-6 hours to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of gorillas. We'll travel through a number of attractive villages and catch stunning views of the Western Rift Valley and Mountains. Bwindi Impenetrable Park, aptly named, is a dense jungle where many primate species live. It is one of three places in the world where you can track gorillas!.
Accommodation is Bwindi back packers.

Day 8: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, we'll head to the Uganda Wildlife Authority Headquarters to register our visit and receive a briefing from the National Park Rangers. There will be many other visitors as well, and you will be split into groups and assigned a Park Ranger to lead your group. Thereafter, you'll depart in search of the majestic gorillas for 3 to 4 hours. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Accommodation is at Bwindi back packers.

Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Bunyonyi
We will spend the morning in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where we'll have the opportunity to bird watch, go in search of more primate species, or take a community walk to meet some of the lovely people who live in this area--depending on what suits your fancy. It's also possible to arrange a second round of gorilla tracking on this day, for an additional fee. In the afternoon, we'll travel by car to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi, the most beautiful and deepest lake (950m) in Uganda full of beautiful islands.
Accommodation is at lake Bunyonyi paradise eco hub.

Day 10: Activities at Lake Bunyonyi
Lake Bunyonyi is so incredible that we've included a day to enjoy activities around the lake. These optional activities include canoeing, bird-watching, community walks, fishing, or simply relaxing with a good book in the sun on one of Bunyonyi's islands.
Accommodation is at lake Bunyonyi paradise eco hub.

Day 11: Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast we will travel to Lake Mburo National Park northwest of Lake Bunyonyi and near the city of Mbarara. Upon arrival we will check in at our hotel, have lunch, and head to the park for a game drive and boat cruise. It's also possible to arrange the game drive at night for the highest chance of seeing the secretive leopards. Lake Mburo is one of the parks in Uganda with zebras, impalas, giraffes, and elands--for this reason we also recommend a hike through the park since there are no lions and elephants to watch out for! For those interested in a more active experience, instead of the game drive a bike-trip through the park can be arranged.
Accommodation is at Leopard rest camp.

Day 12: Lake Mburo National Park to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast we will travel to Murchison Falls National Park. This is a long journey, approximately 8 hours in the car. For those who would like to break up the trip, we can stay one night either in Kampala or Fort Portal. Upon arrival, we'll take you on a short hike to the top of the falls, where you'll get a spectacular view of the Nile. The sight of the force of the Nile rushing through a narrow gorge is exhilarating!
Accommodation is at Fort Murchission

Day 13: Murchison Falls National Park
This day begins in the early morning with a game drive, lunch, and a boat cruise in the afternoon on the Nile, to the delta into Lake Albert (Lake Mwitanzige). On this unforgettable day you'll see the best Murchison has to offer! You can expect to see elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, hippos, buffalos, crocodiles, and many more delightful creatures.

Day 14: Budongo Forest Reserve
After breakfast we'll travel to Budongo Forest Reserve for a hike through the forest, bird watching, and primate spotting. It's also possible to do a walk through the community to learn more about Bunyoro culture, people, and history. Karamoja is one of the least touristic and most interesting regions of
Uganda! There are many
things to see, no tourists (or very very few), and it is also an
amazing region to discover authentic ways of living that have changed
very little over the last decades!.
We will end the trip with a 2 day

buffalos, leopards and giraffes, and beautiful landscapes, since the
park is surrounded by mountains.

The trip is from Enteebe international air port through kampala,
accommodation always is backpacker style since we want to limit the
costs, and we will have a safari van & a driver

budget hotel of Kaabong.

Day 4: We climb up Mount Morungole to meet the Ik people, one of the
smallest ethnic groups of Uganda. The Ik language is a nilo-saharan
language! The Ik people used to live in the Kidepo Park before it was
created. We will hear their story and learn more about their life.

The track in Rwenzori mountains was great, I was doing 6 days to reach Mt. Baker and I made as a beginner in climbing. They borrowed me everything - sleeping bag, cap, rope, there were potter to take my stuff, chief and very professional climbers. The only thing is, that they
