          Pricy But Memorable !!!
Aside from being overpriced (an activity you can hire a car from hotel & do on your own). Assigned driver was good. Went out of his way to please. Intern guide was caring but too shy to be effective. Had to pay extra money to climb down to the falls. Climbing back up is not for the faint hearted. Overall a memorable experience.

          Terrible experience
The staff at the resort are rude as hell. despite staying as a guest, they try to extort you at every opportunity. We know it’s an African themed accommodation, but it could be a whole lot sanitary and packaged. Some of the doors don’t close fully and the curtains don’t cover the windows properly! There are rats in the room and most of their AC are not working, the Fans are filthy dusty and the thatched ceiling drops off particles on you if you put on the fan. The only thing good about here is the pool. They obviously don’t care about the customers, they only care about how much they get. Then the flies……no comment!

Our tour guide Bright was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fun, safe, and informative experience. Professional, knowledgeable, and so accommodating. Pick up was on time and as planned. Excellent driver! Comfortable vehicle. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great day!

          Great Experience
Almat Farm in Abuja, Nigeria, is an idyllic countryside retreat that exceeded all my expectations. The lush greenery and serene atmosphere provided a perfect escape from bustling city life. The farm's well-maintained facilities, friendly staff, and diverse range of activities like horse riding and fruit picking made the visit truly enjoyable. The farm-to-table dining experience was a highlight, with fresh and organic produce served in delightful dishes. I highly recommend Almat Farm to anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway in Nigeria.

          Quick & Easy Lagos Tour
This tour was a perfect way to see all the major attractions on Lagos island in one day. Our tour guides were extremely responsive before, during and after our trip. Having a driver and not having to worry about transportation for the day was a major selling point. Water and snacks were provided in the morning. My only complaint is that for the price a full lunch could of been included.

          Very bad experience
Worst experience of my life. My family and I paid for a room (studio 88k per night for 2 nights) the room was nothing to write home about the toilet was bad, AC has a mind of its own and the microwave takes about 30 minutes to warm food when it decides to do so. To make the situation worse, our kids were asleep and my wife and I were just chatting and we had rat visit the hut that we paid #88k for. We alerted them and they moved us to another room at about 10:30pm when we had to move 2 sleeping kids at that time. Fast forward 3 hours later in the new room we were all awoken by water dropping on us on the beds. At 2am we had to start running around. Don’t even get me started about the experience with food and the staff at the restaurant. It’s totally a waste of time and money

          Highly educational - recommended!
Highly recommended. Bright who was my driver and guide together with two local guides did a great job of introducing the history of Badagry. I learnt a lot. The slave trade ended in the 1880s and after visiting its clear how recent this is. The descendants of Seriki Williams Abass who built and managed the slave trade facilities at Badagry are still living right there. More people should visit Nigeria and more people should visit Badagry. From Victoria Island, the drive there takes around three hours, depending on traffic. The road varies wildly from modern highway to patches of just sand. Badagry is close to the border with Benin and we were stopped by immigration police. Bright had told me to bring a copy of my passport and visa which turned out to be vital. I witnessed a group of smugglers being slapped around by the police. Bright handled the situation expertly and we were able to travel onwards after only a brief stop. We added in a stop to have jollof rice on the way back. Highly recommended! If you’re into coffee you better bring your own. Water and snacks can be bought at the museum.

Motley Travels - Lagos City Tour
Motley travels was the best from the very beginning. They were responsive at all times of the night when I finally had a chance to check my emails. They found away to assist me with someone elses app. We learned sooo much. Our guide, Bright, was awesome. He was sooo patient, pleasant and accommodating. He was sooo cool, we requested him again for our tour on Sunday. If you come here and want to see a little bit of everything, check out Motley Travels.

          Historical Badagry
What an incredible solo trip this was! My driver Bright was extremely well informed about Nigeria and he gave me all the tips and historical context about the country on our way to Badagry. When we got there, I got to see the heritage museum, the baracoon and then the point of no return. I mean, there was so much history the entire day. I booked this trip last minute and I’m so glad I did it. It was one of the most impactful moments of my entire Nigeria trip. If you have the time and interest, it’s definitely worth it. Bright picked me up at 8:30am in an air conditioned car, with snacks and we were able to hit just a little bit of traffic on the way back, but I was back home before 4pm. Make sure you have a copy of your passport and visa and walk allll the way to the point of no return, it’s a long humid walk but it’s worth it :). Such a wonderful experience!

          Friendly and professional
Guide and driver were friendly and professional. I went on a Sunday, which is apparently the best day traffic-wise. We still hit some traffic but not the whole way. The driver was fast and very skilled. The drive was about 2.5 hours and a lot of the value to me was getting to watch the people, the sights, the roads and the traffic along the way. Good for getting more of Nigeria if you are otherwise stuck in Lagos. It is good to see and experience the sites in Badagry. To be honest there is not a huge amount to see, but the history is serious and important. To get to the Point of No Return you will take a boat and walk about 1KM; it is hot and dusty, but when you realize you are tracing the steps of slaves in chains you will be glad for the freedom you have. You can pay a passing motorcycle to give you a ride if you don't want to walk. If you are a foreigner, make sure to bring your passport. I forgot mine, and as we passed some Nigerian police they saw me, a white woman, in the car and forced us to stop. They gave me a hard time for not having more than a photo of my passport, but eventually let us go. They were after a bribe and only took 2K NGN / about $5USD from us. An interesting experience, and the guide / driver stayed calm and reassuring throughout.

Black Heritage Tour-Badagry and Gberefu Island
It was a solemn and heartbreaking experience. The tour covered several museums and memorable sites. The walk to the Point of No Return is a must for people of African heritage. I suggest the tour guides provide sand from the beach to memorialize the event- I was too caught up in my emotions to remember this.

This tour is actually free. I didn’t get anything for the $100 that I paid because I was close by and didn’t take the car service. I was not told this when I said I didn’t need the ride. He was also super rude when I called to ask about the items included with the $100. The Gallery was nice and the art is great. The people inside the gallery were great so, take the tour just don’t book through trip advisor or any other third party apps. Remember the tour is free so don’t waste your money. I also read something about creating my own art when I booked and that was not provided either. Refund my money.

Thank you for this feedback. We will like to state firstly, that you booked a tour package to Nike Art Gallery for ONE PERSON. We contacted you to know pick up details and YOU DECLINED saying you will meet us at the Gallery! Few minutes later, we got a call back asking that we pick you up and pick up was activated for you but for whatever reason, you booked a tour for one person and you were to go for the tour with additional three (3) persons. How does that work? Upon letting you know that the booking is for one person and the car will not take 6 persons including the tour guide and the driver, you then, for the second time declined pick up and chose to go to the Gallery yourself. You were received at the Gallery by our tour guide who took you and additional two (2) persons (against what you booked) on the tour of the gallery. You talk of reading about creating your own art....... We ask you again to show us anywhere in the tour booking where we mentioned/offered creating your own art? What do you call - booking a tour for one person and eventually showing up with two (2) additional persons as you have cleverly omitted that in your narrative? It is called a "package". If you choose not to utilize any component, does that mean it wasn't offered? Remember, we have pictures taken of you and the other persons who took the tour with you at the Gallery.

This tour was full of interesting places backed up with details of a rich history. This was my first time to Abuja and Henry the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour can be enjoyed as a group or solo; as I did. I experienced some of the beauty Abuja has to offer as well as the reality and development for the average person. This balance created a sense of authenticity. I would definitely recommend it.

My tour guide, Allison, did a brilliant job of showing me around Abuja. He arrived in good time at the agreed upon pick-up spot (my hotel) and driving a Toyota Corolla in good condition. Seatbelts in the vehicle were operational and air conditioning worked well. We visited a great variety of local monuments, starting with the National Mosque, proceeding to Zuma Rock at the edge of the city, a ceramics studio in the village of Ushafa, the luxurious Jabi Lake Mall, as well as the Jabi Lake Boat Club. My guide did a great job peppering the tour with historic facts and details about the city and surrounding area. He also adjusted the tour appropriately to the weather so that we avoided the rainy season downpour and watched rain drops from the comfort of Jabi Lake Mall. By the time the rain stopped, we got lovely views of Jabi Lake from the patio of the Jabi Lake Boat Club. Definitely bring your camera for this excursion. Level of physical effort was minimal, although more ambitious visitors could arrange a hike up part of Zuma Rock. I am more of a relaxed-pace traveler and was pleased to come home with a few photos and local souvenirs.
