Begin your 9 hours tropical South-West tour with a complimentary hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere on the paradise Island. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding to your comfortable vehicle, then set off for your first stop.
First of all, you'll be heading at Grand Bassin sacred lake which is the most important place of worship for Mauritian Hindus. Ganga Talao is a major draw of crowds in Mauritius, with many people visiting the site to pray, meditate or simply to walk by the lake and enjoy the gorgeous surrounding views.
Afterwards, travel to Alexandra fall Viewpoint, where you will admire the cloud forest of Mt Cocotte, (771m) and the waterfall along with the view down to the south coast. You'll spend a tranquil moment in the surrounding virgin green valley, which is home to some endemic avian species and flora.
During the day, you'll head to Gorge Viewpoint, where you will stop for a stunning panorama. On a clear day, the views from here across the gorge and down towards the west coast rank among the best on the island.
Next, you'll be heading to Visit the seven colored earth & Chamarel waterfall, which is one of the most famous and most visited attractions in Mauritius. The seven colored earth is a natural phenomenon and a prominent tourist attraction. The colors evolved through conversion of basaltic lava to clay minerals.
Afterwards, continue to Rhumerie de Chamarel which was designed to provide a holistic tourism experience to guests. As a visitor of the Rum Distillery you can marvel at its unique design which blends harmoniously with the spectacular surroundings where wood, natural stone and water provide a sense of communion with nature.

After some time, we will be heading to Curious Corner of Chamarel, which is a house of fun packed illusions with adventures to be enjoyed with friends and families which are set out for your entertainment or even frustration.
It is a fascinating, fun and social excursion into the wonderful world of optical illusions, which will leave you quite literally, not believing your eyes!
Next, you'll head to Maconde viewpoint to admire the panoramic view of the remarkable ocean. You will feel like "you are in the middle of the ocean." Our next stop, is Islet Sancho and Riviere Des Galets which will give you a memorable experience as you need to cross the low tide to explore the islet and you will witness the huge waves crashing upon the "Flat stone rocks" which is unique in Mauritius.
On our way, you'll be heading to Rochester fall to explore the magnificent view of the waterfall which makes it a relaxing experience. A must visit tourist attractions in Mauritius; the Rochester Falls has been in the spotlight for being featured in many Bollywood movies. One of its main features is the unique and dramatic cliff face which has been transformed into jagged rectangular blocks by the force of powerful water over the past hundreds years.
Afterwards, continue to Souillac to see the astounding view of Gris-Gris, where a light wind sweeps your hair and this immaculate view stuns you – you are facing the sea – so blue – which looks like a beautiful fresco. After two minutes walking, you will explore Roche-qui pleure, where you will have the opportunity to witness the angry waves which come crashing on the cliffs. These two places (Gris-Gris & Roche-Qui-Pleure) will give you a truly amazing opportunity to take great pictures
Your Tropical south-west tour ends with return transport to your hotel.

As part of the tour of the Rum Distillery, you will discover the exclusive Rum making process where all the sugar cane plants are carefully selected and grown at the domain. At maturity, the sugarcane plants are carefully handpicked and rapidly transported for further selection in order to obtain the purest juice extracts. One of the highlights of the distillery’s guided tour is definitely the Rum tasting. At the end of the tour, unique rum tastings is offered where one can try the selection of the agricultural Rums produced by the distillery. As opposed to the traditional rum produced by the distillation of molasses, the agricultural rum is obtained by distilling pure cane juice, a process which gives it its specifics aromas and flavors.
As part of the rum tasting you will be invited to sample selection of rums such as the: White Rum, Coeur de Chauffe, Chamarel Liquors, Exotic- Flavoured Rums and the Old Rum.

Undoubtedly the tallest single-drop waterfall in Mauritius at about 100m high, the Chamarel Waterfall is a striking piece of nature standing amid dense vegetation. Fed by the waters of three distinct streams pouring into Saint Denis River, it has a powerful rush with a peak flow rate in excess of 40,000 m³ per minute.
Proceeding along the Seven Coloured Earth Geopark’s 3km access road, which makes for a scenic drive to the geosite, don’t miss the waterfall’s viewpoint on your left. Offering a front-row view of this wonder of nature, it can be accessed via a trail snaking through dense foliage. The seven Coloured Earth is a relatively small area of sand dunes comprising sand of seven distinct colours (approximately red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple and yellow).
Overhanging the ledge of a basalt cliff, the Chamarel Waterfall splashes into an oval pool before flowing down a 6km tropical-forest-fringed canyon to Baie du Cap. The sight not only floods the senses with freshness but it is also a spectacular showcase of millions of years of volcanic activity. The dramatic landscape if formed by lavas of two different ages. The layer of brecciated basalt near the base dates from between 10 to 8 million years ago, on top of which lies a second layer from the intermediate period between 3.5 and 1.7 million years ago.
