I booked 4 different tours with Cocoon (Chobe Safari x3 days, Sunset River Cruise, Vic Falls tour and Lions Walk), and all of them were great, in fact, exceeding the expectations. From the moment that I started working on the schedule for our time in Vic Falls, the predisposition and flexibility of Liberty was incredible, he made everything so simple. The four activities we did with Cocoon are extremely recommended and they all worth. Liberty was always taking care about us, and he also was always making sure everything was happening according to the schedule. He and Delight made our stay the best ever. Take the Victoria Falls tour that includes Devil’s Pool. Bring your swimsuit and your courage. It is amazing to lie on the precipice of one of the largest waterfalls in the world. The guides took good care of us and I trusted them completely.

We spent 28 days with Liberty travelling around Botswana and Zimbabwe. We had 11 days in Botswana which started in the Okavango Delta with a 3 day Mokoro ride with wild camping and then 4 days in Moremi and Khwai. We then travelled via Planet Baobab to see the Meerkats, Elephant Sands to see all the elephants at the waterhole and then onto Chobe for a sunset cruise and game drive. We then crossed the border into Zimbabwe for the next 17 days. We walked Victoria Falls before travelling to Hwange National Park for game drives, Matobo Hills National Park to walk with the Rhinos, saw the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, Vumba Mountains for Tony's Coffee Shop and Botanical Gardens, Nyanga Mountains for waterfalls, Bushman Rock Estate for wine tasting, Lake Kariba for game drive and sunset cruise and ended the safari with 3 nights along the Lower Zambezi at Mana Pools where we saw the Wild Dogs and caught a Tiger Fish. There were so manyhighlights along the way it is hard to say what was the best place or activity. From the time we met at the airport until the time we departed the service was amazing. The itinerary was created between Liberty and ourselves and Liberty was very accommodating and open to any suggestions that we made and also helpful with any ideas he thought would improve the itinerary. It was very important for us to do everything that was on the itinerary and we managed to do it all. There were a couple of things that had to be changed durng the safari and Liberty was very quick to make the changes. We loved all the places we stayed at along with all the meals that were provided. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful and the Safari Guides were very accommodating and knowledgeable about the wildlife. We felt the safari was very good value for money and that all the accommodation, activities and meals were included in the final cost of the tour. We had some days where there was a lot of driving and it was never an issue with Liberty as he is a very careful driver and we always felt safe especially when the roads that we travelled on were either potholed or unmade. He always picked us up on time and the car was always clean. He provided a car fridge along with ice to keep the beers and soft drink cold in case it was a long drive and we were able to have a drink along the way. Liberty's communication was first class and always replied to our messages very quickly and was very polite in his responses. Liberty has a lovely personality and a wonderful sense of humour so lots of laughs were had along the way. We would highly recommend Cocoon Safaris and Tours to plan and organize a safari for you.

Did Kariba game drive boat cruise and meet the locals Aug 2022 and the whole experience was amazing our guide for the game driver wooow very professional very knowledgeable we super enjoyed the experience and went out of his way and time to make sure we saw as many animals and we did saw 2 of the big five ! The boat cruise and speed boat the best the bbq fish on board brilliant. Loads of beautiful memories such a wonderful experience thank you Cocoon Safaris this is our second venture with Cocoon you never disappoint very professional high standards excellent service friendly staff !!

We had a wonderful 15 day honeymoon itinerary all thanks to our amazing guide cum driver (Liberty). He’s sincere, down to earth, and always checking in on us to make sure we’re enjoying ourselves to the fullest. Despite driving us for hours each day as we travel across the country, we never once felt worried as he is a safe driver and most importantly, he doesn’t fall asleep behind the wheels. The itinerary was well planned with awesome highlights including Mana Pools, Eastern Highlands, Matobo Hills and of course Victoria Falls. Zimbabwe is under-rated and considered safe, so don’t hesitate to visit this amazing country. You know who to reach out. =)

Overall a nice day out. The drive to Chobe from Victoria Falls was very nice, saw a few elephants on the way and the driver was very pleasant and informative. The morning River Cruise was very good, saw plenty of wildlife, Hippo's, Crocs, elephants and a variety of others with birdlife. Lunch was very good in a pleasant surrounding. The Afternoon Wildlife Safari was very well done and the driver was very cooperative in making photos easy to get, unfortunately we did not see any Girrafe, Zebra or Cats but plenty of Elephants close up. Overall a good day but you cannot guarantee that the animals will show up. Don

Liberty is the absolute best. Great knowledge, extremely helpful and better value than the other. We initially booked a Chobe day trip from Victoria Falls through him but ended up booking helicopter flights, devils pool, Boma dinner and all of our transfers through him. He went out of his way to help us organise everything. Thanks Liberty!

Cocoon Safari provided amazing service from start to finish. They picked us up from the airport, dropped us off at the lodge, checked in on us to make sure we were fine and took the time to explain what was/wasn't included. They gave us a history and little tour of Victoria Falls, were ready to answer our questions, and were basically just really great and trustworthy from start to finish. 10/10 would recommend and book again. The safaris itself were provided by the Lodge (a different operator, but is included in the package). They were also good. The lodge overlooks a watering hole which attracted zebras and different types of antelope. It was located very close to the entrance of the national park and so we were typically one of the first in the morning - this is important as animals are usually only out and about at dawn or dusk.

Originally I booked the above tour from another travel agency but finally they transfer me to Cocoon Safaris but fortunately I met Liberty. He care many things with heart, really appreciate on his service. Great Job!!
