About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- jkbajwa10 contributionsAmazing hike and safariThe best company to book a Kilimanjaro hike and safari with, we had the best team of guides, porters and chef for our 5 day hike. They made the hike for us so enjoyable. We had the most knowledgeable safari guide through this company. We saw the big 5 and so much more because of himWritten 21 January 2025
- 121saran0 contributionsXmas 2024 Summit with HabariDon’t hesitate to choose Habari Adventures, a local Tanzanian company that expertly guided my husband and me to summit Mount Kilimanjaro on Christmas morning 2024. We undertook the 8-Day Lemosho Trail, and Habari delivered an exceptional experience, exceeding our expectations in every way. A standout aspect of our journey was my husband’s unique challenge—he’s 59 years old and had sustained a knee injury three years ago, leaving him without an ACL in his right knee. From the start, the company owner, Stan, reassured us that this wouldn’t be a problem, and his team’s extensive experience would accommodate our needs. After meeting with our lead guides, Michael and Samson, during our first orientation, we felt confident, safe and ready to tackle the mountain. The team’s camaraderie was evident, as the guides shared a wonderful rapport with the porters and worked tirelessly every day to ensure we were comfortable on the mountain. They took excellent care of us with daily health checkups, nutritious meals, and attentive service at camp. One of the highlights was Chef Remi, who baked us a special cake for our anniversary. The team even celebrated with us, singing and dancing—a truly unforgettable moment! We are deeply grateful for everyone who made this journey so memorable. From Stan and Caroline in the office to our incredible guides, Michael and Samson, as well as our talented cook Remi and the entire crew—Lama, Emmanuel, Kenny, Mishak, Selvius, Lodison, Aloise, and AbdulJamal—thank you for making this adventure of a lifetime possible. “One team, one dream”. - judybW9412ZO0 contributionsHabari Adventure - Class Act.Habari Adventure - Class Act. I did summit Mt. Kilimanjaro on New Year’s Eve, thanks to the dynamic duo, Joseph and Ramadhani. You will be spending “long days” with your tour guide – sometimes 8 hours of trekking in one day. So you better hope you two get along. With Joseph, it was a piece of cake – and included non-stop laughs from start to finish. Personable, perfect English, very smart. Made you feel safe at all times. Ramadhani is the “motivator”. He exudes warmth, comfort and has this natural ability to nurture and re-energize you during that final push to Summit. I also wanted to mention Derick. His title was waiter. But in reality he took care of every detail to make sure you were comfortable and customized it based on what he saw you liked. Grateful to wake up to hot coffee room service, tussling in the tent as to whom is going to put my gaiters on, the multiple force feedings - but Madame, you need your energy! This is all in play – our sense of humor was very compatible and he was top notch. I watched other guides, from other companies, along the way – to them – it was another day at the job. My tour Guide’s demeanor was I am here to help you achieve your dream. Details matter: It was a well-run operation. The team is competent, and no detail was missed. Before we left for summit night, I remember the guides inserting new batteries into my head torch, making sure all my summit gear was on correctly – i.e. tightening my gloves around jacket to make sure no cold air got in. When my toes were starting to freeze, they (in a matter of seconds) removed my hiking boots, inserted the toe warmers, and put my hiking boots back on. That’s how exhausted I was, and that’s how caring they were. I recorded most of my trip, because I knew it would be something I would want to enjoy, forever. When I hear one particular song – that they sang. Jambo Bwana - Hakuna Matata the Kilimanjaro song - I can’t help but feel happy. I will remember the team forever. Lori KuehnWritten 19 January 2025
- saritc20170 contributionsAmazing Habari - 7 days Kilimanjaro Machame route + 2 days safari - WOW.We got Habari as a recommendation from a friend and right from the planning Stan was amazing at every stage On day 1 of the trek we met our guides Godi and Justo who had all the best advice and support needed to succeed the climb. With us came an experienced and professional team of 13 who were there to take care of our every need and want before we even knew we needed it. They went above and beyond to make sure we were safe, comfortable and happy throughout every moment of the trek. After making the dream of summiting come true, we then went on a safari with Habari’s experienced guide Michael. Clearly with a lot of experience, Michael was patient with every question and has endless knowledge about the many animals that he was able to help us spot throughout the safari whilst again, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Thank you so much to the entire Habari team for making our time in Tanzania, on the mountain and in the safari as apwecoal and unforgettable as it was, we will always remember it!Written 15 January 2025
- rebeccawR1837KC0 contributionsNothing Short of Amazing - A Dream Come TrueIf anyone is looking to go hike Kilimanjaro or go on a safari or just visit Tanzania in general - book everything through Habari Adventure!! I came to Tanzania as a young, solo, female traveler and was well taken care of the entire 16 days I was in the country - from the moment they picked me up from the airport when I arrived to the moment they dropped me off at the airport for my departure. I cannot thank Habari Adventure enough for the life-changing experience I had in Tanzania. I did the Lemosho 8 day hike and had the most incredible time with my amazing guides - Justo and Michael. They both were attentive to my every need and always talking, laughing, singing, and dancing with me - helping make my mountain experience something I will always dream about reliving and more impactful than I could have ever asked for! My chef, Eugene, was a God send and I will never understand how he could make gourmet meals and snacks in a tent on one of the worlds tallest mountains! All of my porters were also incredible - the work they do is awe-inspiring and something I will never forget; and they did it all with a smile on their face and love in their heart!! I had a very successful climb, that culminated with a sunrise summit, and I owe it to the Habari Adventure team. Their are a lot of companies out there to choose from, so please let this be your sign to go with Habari. My 4 day safari post-hike was also nothing short of incredible. My guide, Hilary, was not only knowledgable about the different parks and animals and where to go, but very, very kind and caring, making sure I was always okay and having a good time. As a young female who was alone for the hike and safari this was much appreciated. I saw the big 5 plus so much more!! Hilary taught me a lot and was always patient with me and let me set the pace! Lastly, Habari Adventure is a local company that gives back to the community it is in - Moshi. I had the pleasure to go to one of the orphanages they support and spend a day their playing with the kids and learning about what they do. This was one of, if not the most, special and fulfilling things I have ever gotten to do. Book with Habari and make sure you have an extra day to go share some love and smiles and hugs and soccer skills with these amazing kiddos. Thank you Habari for everything. I will be back - that's a promise!!Written 3 January 2025
- Relax49570 contributionsMade Good Friends and Will ReturnI usually don't write reviews, but the Habari Adventure team did such an outstanding job with my group's Kilimanjaro climb and subsequent 2-day Safari that I feel compelled to share my wonderful experience. Each member of the Habari Kili team (Guides Leon, Rayson, Josto, Waiter Abu, Chef Jimmy, and too many porters to name) contributed to the success of our summit. We felt safe and pampered for 8 days. A particular challenge of my group is that our ages range from 20 to 55, and we all have different fitness levels and hiking experiences. The guides worked together to accommodate all of us. We basically had cultural and Swahili tutors at our fingertips for 8 days. For the Safari, ask for Octavian. I have spoken with other visitors at the hotel who felt they got a good driver but not a good animal guide. Octavian is both. He obviously loves the animals, and it shows. If possible, ask to stay at the Farm House Valley Lodge. My girlfriend is so in love with the 500 acre coffee plantation/lodge that she is already making plans to take her mother there. As for me, I will be contacting Stan at Habari for Gorilla trekking in 2026! Habari Adventure is run by Tanzanians, and they support a local school. Those attributes plus their reasonable rates were what made me select them in the first place. I am glad I did.Written 2 January 2025
- N4868EVjulief0 contributionsHabari - Top notch from start to finish!I can not recommend Habari Adventures enough. From the early days of inquiring about options through the final transport to the airport I felt completely cared for. The guides were amazing with their attention to safety, keeping us motivated as things became tough, yet all with safety top on their mind. I was amazed at the delicious food provided at such an elevation day after day. I rented several things through Habari as well. All top notch. If searching for a company to use, you need not look any further than Habari!Written 1 January 2025
- 171kry_tofp0 contributionsOne Team, One Dream – Habari Adventures! What an adventure! "One Team, One Dream" truly sums it up, and with Habari, you can never lose. After careful consideration, we chose Habari Adventures—and honestly, it was the perfect choice. It all starts with a pickup, included in our package. Despite arriving earlier than planned (not a day before but 3 days before the start), the driver took us to our self-booked hotel. The day before the climb, we finally moved into the accommodation provided by Habari—and it was fantastic. The moment we saw the swimming pool, we couldn’t wait to dive in and relax! As two active travellers in our early 20s, my friend and I were hoping to join a group. Unfortunately, no one else signed up for the 7-day Machame track. Initially, we were a little disappointed that no one was joining us, but in hindsight, it turned out to be a blessing. Our guides, Abdi and Benzon, were highly trained and flexible, adjusting to our quicker pace without needing to accommodate a larger group. I’ll admit, I was the slower one, but they were incredibly patient and encouraging! One surprising aspect of the trip was the size of our support team. Even though it was just the two of us, we were accompanied by a total of 11 staff members! Their attention to safety, comfort, and guidance was on another level. And the meals—wow! I never expected to eat such incredible food on a mountain. Multiple courses served on (literally) silver platters? Oh, Man, Excellent! The sleeping arrangements were just as impressive: warm, CLEAN sleeping bags, comfortable and CLEAN mattresses, and windproof tents. Everything was meticulously organized to ensure our comfort. Even with some language barriers (not that significant) among some team members, their friendly smiles and positive energy kept us motivated. As our guide often reminded me, "Don’t get excited"—and thankfully, I didn’t! The breathtaking views and changing climate zones can sweep you away if you're not prepared. Habari’s professionalism shone through in their twice-daily medical checks, which provided extra reassurance during the climb. The only hiccup? We were so quick on one section that we reached the summit before sunrise. Unfortunately, the high altitude and extreme cold made it impossible to wait for dawn. It was still a magical moment, but in hindsight, pacing that part more slowly might have been better. Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and well-organized company, Habari Adventures is the obvious choice. From start to finish, they made this journey unforgettable. Hakuna Matata, Rafiki!Written 31 December 2024
- annecarolinem130 contributionsExperience of a LifetimeIt took me a few days to really grasp the enormity of this endeavor, and a few more days to be able to put this into words. My friend, brother, and I completed the 6-day Lemosho trek in early December, and to say that this was the experience of a lifetime is an understatement. We first learned of Habari from a friend who completed the trek in early 2024 and had a tremendous experience. After completing the trek myself, I feel forever indebted to our tour guides (Godi and Abdi), and our incredible team of 11 porters who carried us through this journey both physically (quite literally, at times) and mentally. They prepared us, encouraged us, took care of us, and anticipated our every need. Every single decision they made was with love, professionalism, and attention to detail. We trusted them fully, and it is thanks to them that we were able to make it to the top of the mountain and then home safely. Our team was so kind and thoughtful. They kept huge smiles on their faces - smiles that completely uplifted us and kept us going. They made sure we ate (EXTREMELY) well, and that we had a warm, clean, and comfortable place to rest after each day of hiking. They were selfless; on multiple occasions they reached the campsite long before us, set up camp, and came looking for us on the trail to see if they could be of any support. On the day of the summit, this help was indispensable. They carried us back to basecamp when we had no energy left to give. And they still made sure to welcome us back to camp with high-fives and applause. I could write a novel about our tour guides, Godi and Abdi. They were selfless, patient, loving, encouraging, positive... the list goes on. They were the most wonderful companions and our greatest cheerleaders. They are incredibly smart and professional - they learned our strengths and weaknesses from the first day, and tailored every single decision to those strengths/weaknesses to ensure that we would make it to summit. They shared their wisdom was us, teaching us lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I would recommend Habari to my closest loved ones - a statement I do not make lightly. The care they put into each of the excursions shines through from the beginning. The company is so detail-oriented that the only thing we had to think about during our trek was putting one foot in front of the next. A thank you is not enough, but I'll try anyways: thank you, Habari, for your love and your kindness and for the experience of a lifetime. I will never forget the team.Written 26 December 2024
- OnAir401248722860 contributionsA Once-in-a-Lifetime Kilimanjaro Adventure!I completed the 8-day Lemosho route and successfully reached the summit! Habari Adventure provided exceptional service, with quick and detailed responses to all my emails, making the preparation process stress-free. The guides and staff created a fun and positive atmosphere throughout, and the meals were always creative and delicious, never repetitive. The sunrise at the summit was breathtaking, and I was able to create unforgettable memories with an amazing team. If you’re considering climbing Kilimanjaro, I highly recommend Habari Adventure for a safe and unforgettable experience!Written 19 December 2024
- Excursion453677949070 contributionsKilimanjaro Sept 2024Habari was excellent in making our trip memorable. From picking us up from airport to guiding us thru hiking to the summit, taking care of our food and necessities, dropping us off, they were extremely helpful. They took every step to make the trip successful and memorable. And finally, when my certificate was printed with incorrect name, they got it corrected and mailed it to meWritten 4 December 2024
- 22raer0 contributionsGo with Habari! Habari Team: Never Lose! The Habari team is unparalleled! They took amazing care of myself and 3 girlfriends (ages 35-39) as we climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro on the 8 day Lemosho route. Everything was professional, clear, and fantastic. We had great communication with Stan prior to the trip, including gear guides and rental and what to expect. Ali (who was wonderful) picked us up at the airport, took us to the gates to begin the trek and picked us up at the end. Our incredible guides, Joseph and Awalli, chef MK, additional guides Evance and Deo, waiter Abu, porter Ramadan, photographer Decha, and the entire team made us feel like queens. They helped us with anything we needed, joined in on our frequent spontaneous dance parties, were always ready with an encouraging smile (especially Abel) and patiently answered our hundreds of questions. They took care of every detail, allowing us to focus on the climb and enjoy the experience. We felt like family by the end of the trip and it was so hard to say goodbye. I can't thank them enough for helping us all successfully summit and having a dance party with us at the top! Kilimanjaro is like nothing I've ever experienced. There is nothing like starting out in the dark, with the beauty of the stars overhead, and getting to the summit just as the sun rises over the horizon. We were lucky with the weather with clear skies and little wind at the summit, and only one day of rain over the entire trek (we went at the end of September). I can't recommend Habari enough. They are an incredible team to journey with and they truly care about the mountain and the community. They only hire local guides and porters so your money goes to the actual community who live around the mountain. They also have a foundation for local children's education. Our guide Joseph helped us pick up trash for an entire day as we climbed (it felt so good to get some of the rubbish off the mountain - please pack out what you pack in!). I am so grateful to them for our amazing, incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience and I miss them all. <3Written 30 November 2024

- Derek R0 contributionsThe Right ChoiceAfter assessing a number of options we chose Habari Adventures for our trip, a 7 day Lemosho Route that started 6/10/24. Very impressed with the service provided from pre trip communications, collection at airport, accommodation in Moshi then of course the hike. From day one of hike the support, guidance, planning, food and accommodation accommodation was excellent. Special mention to our guides Evance and Innocent and Michael for keeping us smiling every day as he took our food to us! Knowing what I know now would I still choose Habari Adventures for a Kilimanjaro adventure absolutely yes!!!! Thanks again!Written 26 November 2024
- cuppajoe0 contributionsHabari Adventure - Hakuna MatataCannot rate Habari high enough! From the moment we messaged Stan to enquire about our trip until we said our goodbyes, he was always very responsive and helpful with any questions we had (and we had a lot). I travelled with my 2 daughters, and we were provided a 3 man tent, and our own toilet. Our group had 2 other solo travellers, with about 18 porters and 2 guides, Oscar and Benny. Our whole team was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them. They did everything they could to make sure our climb was enjoyable, safe and successful. 2 medical checks a day, minimum of 2 hot meals a day (always breakfast and dinner, most days a hot lunch), tents ready on arrival and cleaned our shoes and bags of dust. They even went the extra mile of providing a birthday cake and drink at camp on day 4 for 2 of those celebrating their birthdays. We then did a 3 day safari with Octavian who was outstanding. So knowledgable, kind and funny. He did everything he could to enable us to experience seeing the Big 5, and nothing was too much trouble. Habari accommodated all our needs and more, all transfers and hotels were included, and we felt it was great value for money. What a fantastic experience - thanks Habari!Written 11 November 2024

We booked our Kilimanjaro trek with Caroline at Habari Adventure about 4 weeks before our trip began in the middle of Feb. She was helpful and professional from the beginning, making sure to keep me informed about how to trek, what we would need, and what the trek price included. We arrived in Kilimanjaro Airport and one of the staff of Habari Adventure was ready and waiting for us with a bottle of water, Juice and cold Coca. The Hotel was extremely nice to stay at before our trek- working with Caroline we added an extra two days at the beginning.
The trek was physically difficult and also mentally challenging. When the trek became more difficult our assistant guide, Abdi, would say something or try to sing a song to us. I went with my partner and he and I are more shy. The trek was specifically catered to us with our guides paying attention to how we reacted to each individual thing.
The entire group was incredible- we had a guide, an assistant guide, a chef, a waiter, a camp manager, and six porters. They were all very helpful, the food was incredible and that is saying a lot because I'm a vegetarian, and they would interact with us although many of the porters did not speak English. The waiter started to teach me Swahili and would quiz me on different words at meal times, which ended up being really amazing!
I would not have been able to summit without the full support of Abdi and Evance. At times they would take both of my hands to help support me. It was physically difficult but I was healthy enough to summit, and their constant encouragement helped me accomplish one of the hardest things I've ever done.
The one tip I would give is to make sure to bring USD when you come- we were not able to as we were traveling before, and Habari Adventure did go above and beyond help us to get US dollars when we arrived in Tanzania, but it was a much longer, difficult, and expensive process than it would have been at an airport.
Additionally, one of the main reasons we chose Habari Adventure was because it is a locally owned business in Moshi and because it has a reputation of treating porters well, which from our observations and interactions was true. Overall we had a great experience with talented and attentive tour guides and staff. I would highly recommend Habari Adventure for outdoor activities in Kilimanjaro.

My words won’t be able to describe well enough how grateful I am to Habari Adventure and especially to our wonderful guide Leon. I organized our 6 days Kilimanjaro climb on the Machame route from home, then a 2 days’ safari to Serengeti-Ngorongoro crater for me and my dad. I literally harassed the good people from Habari Adventure per e-mail beforehand and Caroline always answered quickly and thoroughly. Everything was perfectly well organized and I will never forget the time I spent in this country, especially on the Kilimanjaro.
On the mountain, Leon and the whole team made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. They looked after us and constantly checked that my 78 years old dad was feeling OK. If needed, they carried his stuff, shared clothes with him to make sure he would be warm enough, regularly checked if we had any altitude sickness signs and for us to have enough food and remain well hydrated. We felt safe all the time and I haven't seen other guides being so concerned about their clients. I had the feeling that Leon was a true guardian angel for us and I can't recommend him warmly enough!
Another word on Remmy, our cook, who prepared outstanding food and on Michael, his assistant who was our waiter and also a porter. They made everything with a smile although the conditions were very tough.
These good people all rely on your tips, because the greatest part of the money you pay for your tours goes to the government, so please don't forget to be generous enough. Also, I realized that Habari Adventure was very serious about respecting the maximal amount porters are allowed to carry and that is extremely important. We had 8 porters for us two and this is normal given that they have to carry your belongings, the tents, food and water for a week.
In the end, I can only say how heavy my heart was to leave Tanzania because I truly fell in love with this beautiful country and amazing people from Habari Adventure. Thank you for allowing us to achieve something so special and unforgettable in our life. 110% wholeheartedly I truly recommend Habari Adventure for anyone out there who wants to visit Tanzania

Hello Friend,

Stan and his team of exceptional leads, excellent chef and devoted porters went above and beyond to make our summit of Kilimanjaro not just comfortable but hilariously entertaining. They awoke us each morning with tea in our individual tents before preparing a cooked breakfast, they always served us plenty of fresh and sustaining food including eggs, fruit, porridge and meat. After breakfast we hiked each day with great company, telling stories, joking and cheering on the porters who are out of this world. They gave us great snacks during the hike and at the end of each walk we were given hot lunch followed by a nap, then tea and popcorn or nuts before a delicious dinner (3 courses each night!!!). During the hikes our guides told us stories about Kili, explained the flora, told us what Tanzania is like and of course spoke like friends. These guys truly treated us like family and went above and beyond ensuring that we got to the summit. I struggled with the altitude during summit and Michael and Leo had my back the entire way up, even carrying ginger tea to the top to help! Could not have done it without the support of these guides and their entire team.
As an asthmatic is was incredibly important for me to trust my guides. I followed everything Stan, Michael and Leo said, they are incredibly knowledgable and I felt safe and certain of my summit the entire time.
You are guaranteed an amazing time with Habari.

I had the pleasure to travel with Habari Adventure in Kilimanjaro Trek. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.
Everything on the Trek was exceptionally well prepared. Nixon and Abdi of Habari guided us in a caring, friendly and relaxed way. Their love for trekking and their passion for sharing their experiences with others are infectious.
Equipment, food, and staff were wonderful. Our safety and health were always the first priority.
Habari Adventure allows for individuals to pursue their interests and passions on their trips , which allowed everyone to explore and experience the trip both as a group and individually.
Habari Adventure is also extremely accommodating - I was delayed arriving in Moshi and Stan (the owner) did everything they could to enable me to join them.
I miss you all the Team and definitely will come back with my children soon.

We chose Habari for the 6-day ascent of Kilimanjaro via the Machame route.
Excellent contacts with Stan before the trip with very good responsiveness. They were able to adapt to the fact that one of our bags did not arrive by renting us the missing equipment.
Léon and Joseph, our two guides, were perfect in making this challenge a success, as were all the other 6 members of our team (chef and porters).
After the ascent, we went on a 3-day safari with Habari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro, which was also perfectly organized and Nasser, our driver, led us perfectly to help us discover as much of the wildlife as possible.
We highly recommend!!

I just went on a 6 days trek with Habari Adventure through Machame route, this was the best decision I’ve ever made. This company exceeded my expectations, they give quality services and their priority was to give me an amazing experience.
The driver was nice and very professional. They provided pick up and drop off service to and from airport as well as to and from my hotel to Habari Adventure office.
In the office I met Habari Adventure representative Caroline who gave me short briefing, checking my gears and make sure I had all the equipments I needed. They offered a rental option for very reasonable prices and I was shocked when they took me to their storage space, they have everything and plenty of different choices.
The next day morning I met my guide Michael ready to start my trip. He was incredibly helpful, funny and knowledgeable. He was constantly joking and encouraging in difficult times.
The team that came up with me was absolutely incredible. They were all friendly and helpful; they did some singing for me at the camp and after the trek at Habari Adventure office. I t was great to have such a strong and bonded team and I’m so grateful for them and what they did.
The food was delicious, I was really wondering what the food will be like and I was blown away. I ate well on the mountain than I did before I started my trip. The chef was Remy and he was extremely creative and talented in making delicious soups, breakfasts, lunches and everything.
I didn’t know if I could make it up to the summit, but I know for sure that I couldn’t make it without this wonderful team. They are the support system that allowed me to persevere and I will forever be grateful for them. Habari Adventure was wonderful and I will never go with another company.

We had most memorable trip to Kilimanjaro via Machame route in early March 2024. We were a group of 9 and we all made it to the top, we had an awesome Kilimanjaro experience. Everything was smooth and well organized from the time we stepped off the plane until the day we sadly had to leave.
The guides and porters were simply great during the whole trip. They watched us very carefully throughout the climb and made it a point to talk to us constantly to make sure we were ok. They also checked our health status twice per day and assist us when we needed assistance.
Some porters joined us during the summit day and they assist us so much. We were also impressed by the works of porters; they carried so much more stuff than we did on their heads. And they were able to run ahead of us and set everything up so we literally didn’t have to do anything at the camp.
Our success is contributed by the wonderful staff from Habari Adventure. The climb was tough and I hated it at the time when I was tired and when it was too much cold but after, I felt a great sense of accomplishment.
It’s a beautiful mountain a most pleasant experience and I will cherish the memories forever. I had experience of a lifetime. Thank you so much Habari Adventure.

Habari Adventure is very responsive and welcoming from the beginning of planning to the end of the adventure.
We were a team of nine people, the Habari team adapted to all our needs and desires. We did a six-day trek along the Machame route, followed by a charity run and then a seven-day safari.
The management and planning team often responded to our questions and concerns within minutes of asking them. There is a lot to say about the guides, the cuisine, the porters, the safari service, etc. from Habari, they are all great. They have helped us make the most of our stay every day in Tanzania.
A special thanks to Caroline, the planner and contact person from day one to the end. She has given us all the attention we needed and provided all the little details to ensure our trip went smoothly. They are fully aware of life in the mountains and what it takes to reach the highest point possible.
I highly recommend Habari's service for those who may be interested in a Kilimanjaro trek and safari near or far.
Thank you Habari Team for all the effort and the great moment. An experience of a lifetime!

Would 100% recommend Habari Adventure! Our team leader was Evance who was exceptional in organizing sing the team to assist our group of 8 on the expedition. The other guides we had helping us were amazing, and were Michael, Innocent and Jose. The overall team of porters and chefs were incredible, always with a smile on their face.
The food was excellent and they catered to our dietary requirements. The team adjusted the pace for our group to make sure we were all comfortable. They answered any questions we had about the mountain. We learnt so much from them in terms of not only the mountain itself but also life philosophy too.
Summit day was a big challenge for us, however the team motivated us and we all managed to summit. In particular Evance, Michael and Jose struck the right balance in terms of pushing us to our limits and enabling us to succeed.
We were also told by many members of the team that Habari Adventure treat their staff very fairly and they were all happy to work for them.

In July we started our tour to Uhuru Peak. Before the tour started Caroline patiently answered all our questions and helped us to prepare ourselves for the upcoming adventure.
After we arrived in Tanzania, we met her and our head guide Abdi in our hotel in Moshi to go through the tour details and to check all our equipment.
The next day our amazing tour started. We were picked up at the hotel and met the incredibly friendly team and our second guide Evance.
We soon realized that we were in the best hands to have a great time and make it to the summit.
The food was always great and we were amazed by the delicious meals that were prepared for us with our chief Thomas .
When we arrived at the camps our tent was already build up having our bags inside. Also the toilet tent which we additionally booked was already ready to use, best decision ever to extra book it - pure luxury.
The daily hikes were most of the times us two and our both guides who know the area very well and told us about their culture and country while we were walking in a breathtaking environment.
Every day was different: rain forest, dust, open Plateau, volcano stone…
Every night Abdi and Evance came to our community tent where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner, for a health check to make sure we are alright.
Summit night was definitely a challenge for us. Evance and Abdi were motivated and guided us through the night. They carried extra luggage e.g. our camera, extra water bottle when we felt weak on the way and reminded us to eat and drink. They always made sure we were ok and made our dream come true to reach the top of Africa! Thank you so much for making that happen! What an adventure, what a great time, what an incredible team! I highly recommend Habari Adventure you will have a good experience with them.
