About
After meeting you in Marrakech, we'll head southeast to the majesty of the High Atlas Mountains.  We will stop to take a photo of the oldest Berber village in the Tahanout region, then visit the Berber women's cooperative.   The third stop will take part in Asni to photograph it and the summit of the oukaimden before reaching Imlil.   Once arrived at the village of Imlil, we will start our walk through the Berber villages and learn about their culture and the Berber way of life.   We will also visit a waterfall in the middle of nowhere.  The hike will be gentle and the view is breathtaking, amazing and beautiful.   Lunch will be prepared by our family in a traditional house.   Then we will head to the kik plateau, where we will enjoy a cup of tea while enjoying the view of this incredible plateau desert, agafay and the takarkoust dam, looking at everything at once   The last activity we will do is to ride a camel before taking our car to drive to Marrakech.  Around 5:00 p.m.

        Good but not great
I feel a little uncomfortable with this review but here goes... We paid £55 for dinner for two with a tour of the desert and also a fire show. First of all we were picked up late, not so much of a problem but when we are asked to be there ten minutes early and called by the driver 20 minutes before pick up time so we rushed to the collection point and had to wait 25 minutes in scorching sunlight at 37 degrees, then the drivers car had a problem so we had to spend an hour in a garage. We were sharing the tour with a polish couple and a German couple and could tell they were getting increasingly agitated. When we finally got to the agafay desert it was just a guy with a about ten camels who didn't even bother to get up and see if we wanted a camel ride so we took a couple of photos of the desert and were on our way. Food had loads of flies buzzing around it which was off putting but the cous cous was lovely although chicken was quite bland especially considering Morocco has so many herbs and spices. There was a lovely band going round to each table dancing and singing which I thought was good entertainment but then we had what felt like an hour and a half wait for the fire show so they gave us our desserts which was melon and grapes to help break up the wait but honestly waited ages for the fire show which was one guy who did a five minute routine and was done. Whilst what he did was really good it was very brief. Then the ride back was just as bumpy as the journey out there which my girlfriend didn't enjoy given her spinal issues. However that being said it was only £55 for the two of us so in terms of value I can't have any complaints as we got to see the desert, have a meal and a fire show with a taxi there and back. However for those wanting a bit more I would do something else. I have given 4* because as I said I feel uncomfortable about the review, we expected a bit more but again for £55 it is perfect for those on a budget.

        Great atmosphere with delicious food
We had an amazing time at the Agafay dessert - the food was delicious, the service was polite and attentive. The views were beautiful - it is worth visiting, especially when you travel with a partner - good evening out from the bustle of Marrakesh

        Nice evening out
Nice trip for an evening out. Not for singles! Couples, families, groups. The dinner is small so make sure you are not coming hungry. Very nice people who will make sure you enjoy your stay.

        A must in Marrakesh
Absolutely brilliant evening. The guide Ayoub was so friendly and the driver was incredible. Easy pick up from the hotel. A quick stop off for a toilet break and some mint tea before you land at the destination for a traditional tagine, live music and a fire show. Excellent value and a must do if you’re in Marrakesh

        Peaceful getaway
It was a beautiful location and our guide Ayoub was very friendly and attentive. Sadly the sunset wasn't very clear and there weren't many stars in the sky to see. But it was still a beautiful night, would recommend if you're looking to get away from the busy streets of Marakesh.

        Great host, great experience
What a fantastic experience! Right from the get go, Ayoub was amazing and attentive, showing kindness and a phenomenal want to make sure everyone was having a good time. Ayoub gave 5 star service and made sure we were looked after every part of the way. The desert is beautiful and getting to see it at sunset was a privilege. Dinner was amazing and Ayoub again made sure we were well looked after. As the sun went down, the fire show was fantastic and the experience unforgettable. Thank you for an amazing time!

      Feb 2023 • Friends
We had a wonderful tour into the High Altas Mountains with our driver Mohammed, and Mohammed our guide, who shared his passion and knowledge of the Berber/Amazigh cultural traditions throughout the day. We visited a womens argan oil cooperative and had the opportunity to participate with the women in the grinding of argan nut and learned of its use in body treatments, cosmetics, and in food. It was snowing heavily as we approached Imlil, and our driver navigated safely through it all. Our guide brought us for a delicious tangine lunch and took care that all our needs were met - including seating us near the fire🙏🏼 The weather kept us from hiking, so we shopped a little - a Berber hat and embroidered slippers - then headed down to Marrakech desert for a camel ride. A full and fascinating day - thank you thank you thank you we learned so much from this experience!
