Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An excellent experience from start to finish. Our guide Mohamed (“potatoes”) and driver Mohamed provided great info and humour throughout the tour. We were collected in Jamaa el Fna Square around 9am (note: there are many buses collecting tourists at the same time so be alert for your driver). We had an enjoyable camel ride and trip to Imlil, stopping on the way for scenic photos, tea and snacks at a women’s cooperative where they produce Argan oil.
We hiked to a waterfall, admiring the beautiful views along the way. It’s uphill at the start so make sure you have appropriate footwear and bring water. We were served food at the end of our trip for an additional cost (approx 70dhs) but we were happy to give money to the community here. We returned to the square that evening around 7pm. Definitely recommend this trip for a day!

My family, with a 10 year old and a 9 year old had a wonderful day out visiting the Atlas Mountains. We were looked after so well by Lasan our driver and our walking guide was Hassan IDALi. You are cared for well and we had a private tour, which we particularly would recommended as it's only a bit more money and makes it feel special. We want to do a full mountain walk next year, we can't wait to come back next year and let Hassan be our guide.

Issmail, our amazing tour guide, kept us well informed and entertained throughout the day. We were collected from our hotel on time, taken to some beautiful viewing spots before being introduced to our camels. After the hilarious camel ride (lasting approximately 20 mins) and refreshing tea, we headed into the mountains where we were spoilt with a huge helping of delicious chicken tajine. It was a fantastic experience walking around the village and listening to the cultural stories. I’d strongly recommend wearing trainers so that you can get around safely.
My partner and I agree that this is by far the best tour we’ve been on, and my God he’s done enough of them!

Our guide Issmail and the driver Aziz picked us up on time at the agreed meeting point in the morning. We learned to know a lot about the desert, the people who live there and how the Morocan life has changed for the people living on the countryside. Issmail brought us to his home town, or better to say a Berber village. After having a fantastic lunch time he showed us around in his village where he still lives. So we had the chance to meet his family and were heartly invited for a typical Morocan tea ceremony in Issmails home. After a long day and also inbetween Aziz drove us on the small streets always safe and sane to all the picturesque places on this day trip! Please book a tour with them, it is worth it and you can learn a lot about Morocco, how it has changed in the last decades. I can really recommend Issmail and Aziz, we were lucky being guided by them. I read reviews before and he was exactly heartly and welcoming us all the time!

We had a very nice day. We started by taking a 15 min camel ride near Marrakech and then drove to the Atlas mountains. We wire guided by a really friendly guide and did a hike of about an hour to the waterfalls and the berber villages. After the tour was ended we received a full lunch with a beautiful view. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Me and my friend went to Atlas Mountains and we had a wonderful tour guide (MOHAMED LARBI) who was very helpful, kind and enthusiastic. If we’d come back again we would reserve with Art de Cuivre. THANKS FOR ALL!!

Our guide, Mohamed Larbi, and our driver, Mohamed, were awesome. Driving is wild here, but I never felt unsafe with Mohamed behind the wheel. Larbi made sure that everyone in our group was taken care of and that everyone was having a good time.

We booked this as the final day of our week in Marrakech. It was inexpensive and to be honest, we we not expecting much.
Happy to report that it was one of the highlights of our holiday - highly recommend this one.
We were picked up from our hotel by our driver and after an initial hiccup that saw us wait for other travellers for 45 minutes, we finally got into the foothills of the Atlas mountains after just over and hour.
Stopping at an Argan oil co-operative, we were given Berber tea and bread and various dips mostly containing argan oil. There was no pressure to buy anything (a world away from the souks) and half an hour or so later we continued on into the mountains.
Here, we were introduced to Mohammed, our guide who lives in one of the villages. We would then continue on foot for 7 kilometers - stopping regularly for rests and to take photos of the simply stunning views.
The walk took us through a living village with local getting on with their day with mo pretence at all.
The initial climb was fairly steep so good trainers are a must for this trip. There are almost constant photo opportunities during the day - from children riding mules laden with firewood to the valleys opening up to reveal the huge snow-capped mountains.
We stopped for tea mid morning, then later at Mohammed's own village (Sukra) for a delightful lunch of tangine, bread and fruit.
We passed by a beautiful waterfall, then were then treated to tea at Mohammed's house where he extended great hospitality.
All in all, we got to see a side of Morocco that you would never see in Marrakech. A very rewarding experience. The photos should tell you everything you need to know.

Hamid was an exceptional tour guide. He was very careful with ladies and gentlemen. We appreciated his smile and kindness.

We had a great day with Hamza (our guide). The valleys were beautiful and the lunch delicious. However the breakfast which was promised in the description wasn’t served!
Nevertheless it was a great daytrip.
