The fish market was fascinating- I didn’t expect it to be so big- well worth visiting The town was very attractive with a relaxed feel - unlike busy Marrakech. - DeborahElizabeth0 contributionsA great experience, would recommend! We had a great day on this tour. Omar was a very friendly, knowledgeable guide and driver, and gave us lots of little bits of information about Morocco en route. The stop offs were good - a really impressive argan oil cooperative (better than the one near Marrakech) and a nice coffee stop. We had just over four hours to explore beautiful Essaouira - it's such a lovely place, and was really easy and affordable with this tour. Thanks Omar!Written 10 March 2025
- Losi L0 contributionsNice city with calm medinaIt is a good - one day program -, the Medina of Essaouria is really calm and beautiful. One of the best packages I have ever experienced.
Picked up right Infront of hotel at the exact time they stated by Jamal. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Shout outs to Mustafa and Jamal!
Arrived and got help to dress up and go on camel. Camel ride was excellent and worth the money as the staff spoke to us throughout making us feel very safe and comfortable and took pictures and videos for us.
After camel ride we were then given Moroccan tea and time to relax and listen to music.
Then it was time to ride the quad bikes into the sunset!! So fun, so exciting, so thrilling!
Headed to a top view where we watched the sun go down and got some great pictures!
We then headed back where we were given a full 3 course meal with live morracn music, a fire show (highly exhilarating) and traditional dancing!
Great experience and would highly recommend.

I went on this excursion a couple of nights ago and wanted to give a more detailed review for people considering it.
You can arrange to be picked up from your hotel which is great. You are taken out to the Agafay desert which takes around 40mins depending on traffic. You either do quad or camel first depending on the group sizes and what the guides decide each group does first. And you do an hour on each, camel and quad.
The camel ride is basically a row of 8 camels all closely tied by rope together and you are taken for a walk led by a guide. They stop half way through to take photos for you on your phone.
The quad bike is one each or you can share with your child. They tend to have you in a row following each other with approx 5m in between. You can get told off if you go too close to the quad in front, stray off track or go too fast. But it was still fun.
They then use compressed air spray to blow sand dust off your clothes. It’s worth considering what you wear because it gets covered in dust and once the sun sets it’s cold when you eat dinner in the Berber tent.
You are then taken to a Berber tent for a meal which includes: a bottle of water, bottle of Pepsi, salad (cucumbers, tomato), bread and tagine (chicken, potato, veg) and you are given fruit for after (banana, apples, orange segments). The food is really good and it’s a good portion size.
The entertainment consists of a group of men singing at two different points (before and after dinner). There is also a guy that does a performance with fire which does last around a half hour. Some people have said this is too long but I think the entire excursion was fantastic and great value for money.
Also as a solo female traveller I have to say that all the staff and including the guide did their best to make me feel comfortable, feel safe and checked in on me often to check everything was okay.
Overall, the trip is great value and includes two fun things to do, a tasty meal and fantastic entertainment. A memorable experience to include in your trip to Morocco 🇲🇦 😁

The service is all that indicates the notice, it really is worth it and the value for money makes it more recommended.
They picked us up at the hotel on time, dressed us as Berber, gave us a good dromedary ride, then Moroccan tea, a quad bike ride to watch the sunset, then buffet dinner and traditional music and fire shows, everyone has ended up dancing and cheerful to end up returning us to the same hotel. Inolvidable.
Also Mohammed is an excellent guide and host.
If you are in Marrakech I recommend that you do not miss the opportunity to take this package.

One of the best value for money experiences ever - the quad bikes and camels are given generous time with a gap in between for traditional Moroccan tea. The evening food is generous and delicious with a true taste of traditional Moroccan cuisine, as well as traditional live music and fire act. Rashid our guide was fantastic, all involved were very accommodating, friendly and funny

Younes was great, good communication prior to the day allowed a stress free pick up! The camel ride was fantastic, the guides also stopped to take some amazing photos of everyone too, we then had some time to relax with some DELICIOUS moroccan tea before going on a long quad bike ride at sunset which was just unreal, again the pictures the guides took were so so good!! they went above and beyond in every aspect of the afternoon! The chicken tajine dinner was lovely also, paired with singing, dancing and a fire show, 10/10 day i highly recommend doing this excursion while in Marrakech

What a fantastic day in the Agafay Desert! It began in the afternoon with an unforgettable camel ride through the sweeping desert landscape, followed by an exhilarating quad bike adventure just before sunset. As we reached the highest hill, we paused to take in the breathtaking sunset, capturing the beauty of the desert in photos.
The day concluded with a delightful dinner at a cozy hut, where live musicians played captivating tunes, creating an atmosphere of joy and entertainment. A special highlight of the evening was witnessing a heartwarming wedding proposal, followed by dancing that had everyone joining in on the celebration.
Our guide, Joseph, was truly exceptional—funny, attentive, and always keeping the energy high throughout the day. He ensured that every moment was filled with laughter and good vibes. It was an unforgettable experience, and we're so grateful for Joseph's amazing guidance. Thank you!

Brilliant experience, picked up from hotel, we were messaged via WhatsApp thr day before to confirm pick up times and I'd we wanted single or double quad bike. We opted for double as I'm not confident on one. It was about a 1.5hr drive from our hotel to Afgay desert due to pick ups enroute, so take a drink. Once we got there you had option to take bag or leave on minibus which was locked. We went on camels first, had the opportunity to dress in tradiontal robes, then set off for the camel tour which was fab, the camels are led by a guide and tethered together so there is no danger of them trotting off. Once back it was time for quadding, we had a our double quad waiting for us, and off we went, it was exhilarating and the sunset was amazing, the guides are so good at keeping you all together and safe. Upon our return we were treated to traditional morrocan welcome at the restaurant which was open so you could see the stars, we enjoyed fresh bread, salad and a tradional tagine meal, followed by fresh fruit and tea. We were entertained all through by singers, fire show and dancing it was so good.

We had the best time ever from start to finish with Omer the driver collecting us making us feel very comfortable and sharing with us some history of Morocco.
The camel riding and quad biking were incredible, stopping to allow us to take in the views of the Afagay desert and stop for pictures at sunset. We were then taken in for an excellent dinner and live entertainment where everyone got involved. 10/10 would recommend this experience to anyone coming to Marrakech.

Fun tour to the desert. ATV riding was a lot of fun and lasted about 45 mins. FYI - you get very dusty so plan accordingly with your clothes. I recommend bringing a bandana to cover your mouth and nose under the helmet. They have an air compressor that blows a lot of the dust off of you when you return.
Camel riding was fun and lasts about 30 minutes. The camels are treated well and in a good environment which was important to me.
Staff offered to take photos of us while on the ATV and camels which was nice.
Dinner was traditional tajine. They put on a show for us with singers and a fire show. Great, authentic experiences.
Overall, very good adventure. FYI - there were around 20 people on the tour van which was a bit cramped and hot. I would have preferred a smaller group experience. It also felt like we were being “herded” from one activity to the next so I’m giving this 4 instead of 5 stars. Overall, the staff was great.
