The trip was exactly what we've hoped for. the scenery is beautiful, we made a few stops along the way and had a great time! When we got to Zagora, we got on the camels to ride to our camp which was just beautiful! The tents were really comfy and the people were amazing. Really friendly and taught us a lot about the Berber culture. Super recommended. Very professional and safe.

Hamid our guide was wonderful and informative tour of the mountains around Imlil. The area is spectacular and we understand why the Berbers are so proud of it. His English is good and will only get better!

The excursion was really amazing. Although the trip is really long... Ahmed, our driver, was excellent and drive us safely during the hole trip. The only advice we can share about the trip is to take a dizziness medicine because the road has a lot of turns.
The camel ride was really funny. The camel ride guide and host, Yusseff, was very gentle with us.
Food was good and the show was very funny...

The trip was well planned and flexible to suit our preferences, the driver excellent and the Berber camp a cool experience. Our driver Ibrahim showed all around, was very pleasant and drove safely!

For only 2 days, the trip was an incredible sightseing opportunity and gave us brief insights into the Berber life. Great photos and cool souvenirs as well!

Only con, the organising company was very difficult to find (phone/messages) until a day before the trip.

Overall, great experience!

We booked this trip because we expected it to be private as stated in the description. But this is not true. We shared the car, the camel ride and the dinner table with another german family.

The landscape is awesome, but everything on this trip is very touristic. If you expect to see authentic Berbian way of life you will be disappointed. If you expect to find silence in the desert you will be disappointed as well because there are lot of tourists, some who came there to party. What is called "Berber Camp" is more "Berber Hotel" with room numbers, beds, showers and water toilets. The dinner was tasty and the breakfast okay. You should always bring your own water, because you have to pay for it extra at dinner and you need water on your long road trip.

Our driver was nice and friendly, but always a bit late. He drove safely and seemed to know what he was doing. His English was good enough for communication.

We have been driven to a common "camel pick up point" near Zagora where all tourists have been brought to. Our camel guide has been waiting there with our camels. A lot of other tourists has been waiting there as well. The camel ride took about 30 - 40 minutes, half the way parallel to the road. The camp was right behind the next dune. Due to light polution from nearby civilization there weren't as many stars visible at the night sky as one could have been expected in Sahara.

Excellent experience from start to end. We started our journey in a comfortable minivan, small group of 3 which made it even better. We were not rushed and given plenty of photos opportunities, many stops throughout the drive (including toilet break which is important for the long drive) and weren’t coerced into buying anything, unlike some tours where you’re stopped at touristy spots.

Abdou was a great driver and guide for our trip though the Atlas Mountains to the Berber camp. Firstly, he was a very safe and patient driver, a must for riding through many narrow mountain roads. He also kept us relaxed by sharing soothing Moroccan and African music tracks. He took care to make a lot of stops to show us the best overlooks. He steered us to a nice lunch spot and had many local contacts who gave mini tours of mountain villages (some extra tips required). Above all he was friendly and patient and happy to answer questions and explain local phenomena and sights.

The Berber camping experience started with a 30 minute dromedary ride to the camp during a beautiful sunset, and then a tea service with our caravan guide Lahsan. He was very charming as were the other camp guides who played drum music by the fire until 10pm. Dinner wasn’t fancy, but filling—barley soup, bread, well spiced chicken and potatoes. For this city dweller, the clear starry night was incredible to see (with the Milky Way clearly visible) and the sunrise was well worth the trip.
The only caution is that the shower facilities in the camp are poor (weak and cold water) and the beds are a bit uncomfortable, especially for people over 6 feet tall.

Overall, we had a marvelous time and highly recommended.

Our absolutely fabulous driver, Abdul, picked us at a spot right near our riad and drove us through the Atlas Mountains to the camels and camp. Abdul was so kind, funny and knowledgeable. He was flexible but efficient and took us to a number of fabulous look outside and rest spots for coffee and lunch. He seemed to know everything and everyone, and we adored him. The drive was long but so enjoyable, because of the beautiful, diverse Moroccan countryside. We arrived at our camels on time and had a beautiful sunset ride to the camp, guided by Abrahim, who was also fabulous. The camp was lovely and comfortable, dinner delicious, campfire and singing delightful and we capped off a good nights sleep with a climb to the top of the dunes for sunrise. And then the journey back with our friend, Abdul. This trip was perfection, highly recommend!!!

The experience itself was what we had in mind from the previous reviews. The drive is long but that's ok because you make new friends (other people who come with you on this PRIVATE tour) and the views are incredible.
Our driver was super friendly but hardly spoke English. When I am on a tour I like to ask questions, but I got frustrated with language barriers and just kept the questions for later (google).
Desert part is great, we saw the sunset while riding the camels (got there late).
Most stops you make will cost you extra. Movie Studios was very very bad wish they had another activity besides that one.

Myself and my husband have been travelled pretty extensively but this experience has simply wow-ed us! The drive through the Atlas Mountain was amazing where we saw the dramatic mountain landscape and various magical scenery. Our over night stay at the Berbers camp was unique and exotic. Food was delicious and everything was far exceeded what we have expected.

The biggest credit should go to our driver Abdulkarim who has been exceptionally polite, professional and considerate. He’s the best tour guide/ driver we have had in all the years we’ve been traveling. A big thank you to Karim and Art de Cuivre travel agency!

The Berber clan was fantastic. They were very friendly, superbly helpful, and sincerely wanting the experience to be something spectacular, and they succeeded entirely. Our assigned care giver, Mohamed, was excellent in all areas.
