About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- OldKiwiNYorks0 contributionsA great day out in the high Atlas MountainsEverything about this trip was perfect. Pick up exactly on time, a large people carrier to ourselves for the whole trip. Our driver was very friendly and informative. The local guide was waiting for us when we reached Imlil and took us at our pace up to nearby waterfalls further up the mountain. Great views of Jebel Toubkal and neighbouring peaks. We paused for a freshly squeezed orange juice under the falls before going on to a Berber village, where our guide's brother's wedding was in progress. We were the only guests in the lunch tent and enjoyed hearing the celebratory music from the wedding party. There are shopping opportunities on the way but no pressure to buy anything. Lunch was delicious. We would book with this company again for a longer trip.Written 5 October 2024

- talebe20240 contributionsOurzazateTraces Berbères made our day trip to Ouarzazate & Ait Ben Haddou unforgettable! Our driver, Youssef, was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and made the journey fun. The tour was well-organized, and we had plenty of time to explore the film studios and the amazing ksar. Highly recommend this company for a truly authentic Moroccan experience!Written 29 August 2024
- Ella M0 contributionsdon’t ridecruelty towards the horses, i have not been on one after seeing how disgusting they are being treated. the whip marks, falling over eachother legs, in the boiling sun all day and even at night they never stop working, never being fed or drinking water. it is appalling how many people get on these and pay for these rides when they can see how the horses look with their ribs and bones showing it’s disgusting.Written 28 August 2024
- 901hassanj0 contributionsNeeds improvementsExcellent food and entairtainment. Need projector light to see the belly dancer .need new innovations as it s becoming booking in a wayWritten 24 August 2024
- CHolfve0 contributionsDisappointed and discustedThe setting is Fantastic building as the description but that is it. Good ok if you like school dinner and definitely not a culinary experience. Started with a small bowl of soup which was OK followed by beef tagine but served as one for whole table of 8 which we did not know after chicken and cous cous again served to share with the hole table both tagine was very dry no sauce and very little flavour. Last but not least fruit platter of plums and nectarines that was to hard and sour to eat together with mouldy oranges. When asked to speak to responsible person ignored until asked to pay and requested again to speak to someone brought to Manager that was too busy dealing with other complaint so did not have time to speak to me. The show was disappointing with poor lighting and nothing special we had no idea of what was going on. Would not recommend to anyone.Written 11 August 2024

- SM_BSc0 contributionsGreat experienceOur guide Mahdi was very attentive. Stopped at a place for tea where he told us about Berber people and himself. Stopped at a place and took some great photos for us on our phones, as well as videos whilst we were riding. Advice: - This is not a sand dune dessert. The paths you ride on are full of stones. We already knew this. - Your clothes will get very dusty. The guide blasts you with the equivalent of a leafblower when you get back but assume you will not wear the clothes again until washed. Your will need a shower after -Use the bathroom before you head out. Our starting point was 1 hour away from Marrakech medina. The toilet is really not great to use and the sink is outside. It might be okay for a guy, but as woman you would not want to sit on it and it doesn't have a sanitary bin - If you have never ridden a quad bike before, ask the guide for a bit of time to get a hang of it on the flat section you are initially on. I regret not doing this (ended up riding on the back of my husband's quad instead) as I later switched to driving it and did manage to get the hang of it.Written 31 December 2023
- soufianel2930 contributionsFantastic Team BuildingWe organized a wonderful Group Team Building with Traces Berbers. The venue, transfers, activities, conference facilities and meals were all top-notch. We would definitly recommend this travel agency.Written 19 November 2023
- X3652GLlucys0 contributionsAnimal abusePure animal abuse. Horses are skin and bone covered in whip scars, stood in intense heat all day long with no shade, water or food and all the horses are laame and have uncomfortably long hooves. I witnesses a horse pulling a carrage collapse because of exhaustion and the guide pushed and tugged at the horse until it stood up although almost being on a death bed and whipped it until it continued the tour. Ridiculous. Please dont support this!Written 1 November 2023
- Robert T0 contributionsA wonderful experience made even better by our driver. He was the best guide we could have asked for.Five was the highest option we were able to give. We traveled with family and we made him part of that family. We couldn’t have a better driver, tour guide or new friend.Written 21 October 2023
- h0mer0sh0 contributionsA wonderful break at Ourika!I have joined a private tour to Ourika valley during our first family holidays in Marrakech and the whole experience was just perfect. Ourika is really very calm and the settings by the river are very sublime. We had a good tajine for lunch and our driver was very nice. I'd definitely recommend this travel agency.Written 8 August 2023

We spent two great days in this valley, passing through Atlas Mountain and then going down to the valley. Hamid is a good man, he has explained us so many things about berber culture. I suggest you to go with him if you want to know true Morocco (and he's very funny, so your travel will be amazing!)
PROS: very suggestive views and people, met on the road.
CONS: if you want to go to "true" desert, go directly to Merzouga.
