Memorable Experience in the Sahara
Mar. 2020
Our experience in the Tassili n'Ajjer National Park was absolutely amazing and memorable!!! We spent 4 days off the grid across unbelievably diverse landscapes (some of them out of this world really) with an amazing local crew that enriched so much the cultural experience! Totally recommend this for seasoned travelers that looking for an amazing, unique and out of the beaten path experience! Wassim organized this tour masterfully and with great professionalism. Totally recommend it!

True Gem of a Tour!
This was an absolute adventure! It could not have gone better.
Thank you Wassim for your endless patience and for making a custom-made itinerary for us. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
We had 4 wonderful days packed with stunning views, constantly changing from giant rocks to infinite sands, with prehistoric paintings, with great stories, amazing company, music and great food. Foodies like me would be delighted to try yummy couscous and bread baked in the sand!
Sahara is so much more we used to see in the books, pictures or travel guides.. it's scenery is ever-changing and full of life, jaw-dropping and beautiful. We only saw a tiny bit of it and we cannot wait to go back. Huge thanks for Mahlouf and the gang for taking such a good care of us - I'll miss the evening riddles!!
If you're looking for peace, be alone with your thoughts, disconnect from the world, hear incredible stories while sipping tea by the fire.. book this tour. Go for an adventure! And you can thank me later.
Make sure you have extra space for photos.. sunsets are amazing, as is the Weeping Cow engraving, as are the canyons, rocks and sand dunes.. miss it all already!!

3 day tailored Djanet visit
Feb. 2020 • Solo
I managed to find a window of opportunity while away on a business trip and Wassim from Algeria Tours helped me fill it with a wonderful 3 day itinerary to see as much as possible of the Djanet region in the timeframe available. All was taken care of: flight, guide/driver and cook plus accommodation (tents and hostel in Djanet). The trip itself was magical - a real experience of a lifetime. Djanet has such a rich, diverse range of landscapes and history. The sunrises and sunsets are magnificent, so is the night sky. Be sure to bring a decent camera and plenty of memory card space. My guide and cook were really lovely guys and I was extremely well looked after and catered for. It felt like being away with a couple of friends. A truly enriching experience.

Great nature - Great organisation
Nov. 2019
I was able to set aside enough days to go on this multi day/night trip into the desert, and I am really glad I did. The days spent in the desert ended up being the best part of my trip to Algeria.

The tour was well organised with a knowledgeable guide with the only hick-up being a slight confusion during pick-up at the airport which was swiftly fixed. The days in the desert are mellow with breakfast at 8 am then some hours of driving before two hours lunch break until it is back in the Land Cruiser for three more hours of driving and stopping to see rock art etc.

I can highly recommend to use Algeriatours to plan your trip. Wassim was very helpful and swift in his replies so I felt certain that things will be fine.

High spot of Algeria visit
Jan. 2020
We were unable to plan our trip ourselves so left it all in the hands of Wassim, our extremely competent and friendly tour manager. He excelled himself in making sure that the Djanet tour went well, and in fact joined the trip to make sure that everything went smoothly. The scenery was magical and the climbing on the rocks and dunes kept our children (4 of them from 7 to 15 in age) very happy. A perfect setting for a camping holiday that took us into the heart of this fascinating corner of the desert. Meals were prepared quickly without fuss and were extremely tasty. The cook and drivers got on very well with our kids and we spent several memorable evenings by the campfire joking, playing and dancing. All in all, despite the seasonal temperatures (down to 2-4 degrees c in the night) this was the highspot of our trip for the whole family.
