This fun little adventure has it all: scenic views, exotic plants, and refreshing mountain streams. The "Iki" starts off with a 7-mile off-road ride to the trail head and continues with a hike through unspoiled natural beauty rarely witnessed by Oʻahu visitors. Hikers will scale windswept ridges, forge freshwater streams, and trek through verdant tropical valleys. See wild bananas, guava, bamboo thickets, scented gingers, and other spectacular rainforest plants. Revel in Hawai'i's fascinating history, culture, and ancient mythology as shared by an expert Hawaiian guide. If that's not enough, how about a rejuvenating swim in a private mountain pool? End your hike with a light gourmet lunch and this experience will have you smiling all the way home. This is the best little trail on the island and the perfect way to experience Oʻahu.

Amazing hiking trip
Nov. 2021 • Couples
We did the 3 mile hike, and couldn’t be happier with it! Our guide was so friendly, and he gave us so many facts about the history of the island, and the history of the land we were hiking on. He made lots of stops for us to try the fruits and tell us about all the native and non native species there. Not only was it a beautiful hike, with a gorgeous swimming spot at the end. But learning along the way was the cherry on top!

I had an incredible time on this hike! It was so informative and beautiful! I really learned a lot about the native species of hawaii as well as the threats of endangerment and conservation efforts. There was incredible scenery and an amazing mountain pool. I absolutely loved it and it was the highlight of my trip! The guide Ryan was the absolute best!

Such a fun day trip! We did the Little Hiking Adventure with Ryan and it was so worth it! The views were gorgeous and it was such a cool experience. Ryan was very knowledge about all things Hawaii and was such a good guide throughout the trail. Highly recommend if you want to see something different on your trip to Oahu! 🤙🏻

Amazing experience and my favorite part of our Hawaii trip
May 2021 • Family
I love the scenic views and the fact that we were off the beaten path. It wasn’t a paved highway created for hiking, it truly was just God’s creations. Our tour guide Ryan was amazing, very perceptive of the group’s needs, and very knowledgeable. I loved learning all of the things he knew about the nature and the history of Oahu.

Excellent hiking tour and Randy was the perfect guide. Very informative as to the ECO system. Swim in river was refreshing at mid point and organic shrimp roll provided for lunch was tasty..

Great Outdoor Adventure!! Highly Recommend!
This was the highlight of our trip, despite the rain and mud which actually made it more exciting and adventurous! This is definitely a must-do if you want to get out and experience the sole nature of Oahu and see some of the most beautiful, natural landscapes! Keola and Ryan are excellent guides who are very knowledgeable and laid back, but yet keep your safety and the protection of the private area #1. Communication was also great!

Wonderful family day with our adult children!
What a super fun day with Keola! It was so fun to get into nature and hike on privately owned land with such rich history. Beautiful scenery, great knowledge of history and a vigorous hike including lunch made for a memorable day. Many thanks for a great way to end 2020. I highly recommend! We traveled with 2 adult children, one who loves outdoor adventures and the other not so much but we all did great. We did wear legit hiking shoes though. Adored our day, thanks so much!🤙🏻

Treat yourself to an AMAZING experience

I am smiling ear to ear as I type this review. Riding in the Pinzguaer was exhilarating and fun! We were laughing the entire time. The views were breathtaking! The Native plants were incredible. Our group wanted to stay and enjoy the clean air, beautiful scenery, fun ride, and endless laughter with Keola. Everyone has to do this. I felt really happy about supporting a locally owned and operated Native Hawaiian business doing nature tours with an educated, knowledgeable Hawaiian guide! Being in the clean, crisp mountain air is the perfect way to spend a day during COVID. Our group, made up of young children, teens, and adults, wishes we could do it again tomorrow. THIS IS A MUST!
