Lanai Snorkel and Dolphin Watch
USD 105.19
Overview
Get ready for fun in the sun on this guided, 5-hour dolphin watch and snorkeling adventure. Sail away to one of the best dive spots in the world — the beautiful blue waters off the island of Lanai. See Hawaiian Spinner, bottlenose and spotted dolphins swimming alongside the boat, then jump in for a snorkel above a coral reef with a wide variety of marine life. All the required equipment is included, plus enjoy a continental breakfast, barbecue lunch and refreshments along the journey.
What to Expect
You'll depart Lahaina Harbor on Ocean Quest, a double-deck eco-friendly catamaran. It offers a smooth and relaxing ride, with spacious shaded cabin and rear deck. It also has sunbathing areas on the bow and upper deck and is equipped with tables and comfortable armchair seats. The galley bar serves drinks, buffet and barbeque. Ocean Quest has a water slide and snorkel platform for easy access to the water. You can also rinse off using our freshwater showers when you finish snorkeling. This vessel is 65 feet long, comes with two his/her bathrooms, and is equipped with U.S. Coast Guard-approved Whale Protection Devices.

Once you reach Lanai, you'll discover why Lana'i has been rated one of the top 10 snorkel and dive spots in the world. You'll have 1.5 hours of snorkeling time to explore a dazzling coral reef that is home to abundant fish and sea turtles. Lanai also has some frequent wild dolphin visitors such as acrobatic spinners, spotted and bottle nose dolphins that you'll spend some time on board searching for during your adventure. Sightings of humpback whales are also common from December through April.

This eco-adventure offers a continental breakfast (banana bread, pastries, fresh island fruit, coffee and juices) and an onboard grilled lunch which includes teriyaki chicken, garden burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, corn and bean salad and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Unlimited filtered water, juices and sodas are provided along with one complimentary alcoholic drink for adults with a valid picture ID (Maui Brewery Co. beer, wine, tropical well drinks). Two additional drinks may be purchased at a reasonable price.

All of your snorkel gear and flotation devices are provided along with a free guided reef tour by our certified marine naturalist, learn-to-snorkel instruction, fish talk and a junior naturalist program for children.

Hotel pick-up/drop off services are not available.

Awful. No dolphins but a whole lot of vomit.

We bought our tickets on the main street in Lahaina. The man who sold us the tickets said that they always see dolphins and that it only happens about once a year that they don’t see dolphins. We got up early on August 2nd. We...More

Probably not. The dock slips are not well marked, nor does this company communicate their location well at all.

I would contact the tour provider to check. Depending on the level of mobility challenge, the may be able to accommodate. Get on and off the boat may be a challenge but the rest is sitting and snorkeling.
