Maui Haleakala Sunrise Bike Tour
USD 248.96
Overview
Combine a biking tour with a chance to catch the beautiful sunrise above Haleakala while vacationing in Hawaii. Along with round-trip transport, bike rental, and entrance fees, your tour is led by a guide who knows the area well: meaning they're the best person to get you safely through more than 25 miles (40 kilometers) of the Haleakala National Park. Plus, hotel pickup and drop-off are included for added convenience.
What to Expect
Your bike tour starts with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Maui. Before you board the vehicle, enjoy some morning snacks, juice, and coffee while you listen to your upcoming itinerary.

Once you hop in the vehicle, relax on the ride over to Haleakala National Park. Learn about the history of the volcano from your guide as you ride to the top. At Haleakala, your guide takes you to the rim of the crater to catch sight of the stunning sunrise.

Afterward, your bike tour starts at 6,500 feet (1,981 meters) below the crater. Get comfortable with a bike and helmet, and follow your guide down to the sands of Paia Bay. Pass Kula, Makawao, and Paia on your way to the beach.

Your tour ends with a ride back to your hotel in Maui.

Disappointing

Overall a pretty good tour. Views were awesome at the top but it's a little cold, no a lot cold! Tour provides jackets so helps tremendously. Bike ride was awesome, being all downhill not much pedaling. Views were great but wish we stopped a few...More

Fun tour, quite cold at the top of the volcano & make sure to pick a clear day!

My husband and I did this tour in Nov of 2017. It is an early day to get things started! You get up to the top of the volcano when it is pitch black and it is freezing cold. The tour company provided some pants...More

Lousy company with very rude staff

Did the ride today. They have made a rule themselves of about 15-20 percent tipping for no reason which I was not aware of. For a family of 4, paid almost $1000 and to expect $200 in tips is ridiculous. They did an ok job...More

I would talk to them directly but I don't think there would be any issues with you doing the tour as long as you can ride a bike! I think they take kids as well. They adjust the bikes for each person.
