My husband found this tour by accident and what a great find! We started our 10 day stay in Maui with this Sunset Cruise. It was so fabulous that we decided to do it again on our last night. What better way to say goodbye to a beautiful island. Our first trip out was with Captain Gray and Gabriel. We checked in at the general store. Here we were given credit for food & drink. Captain Gray met us at The Maalaea General Store & took us to the boat where we were introduced to Gabriel. The 42ft Boston Whaler is a clean, comfortable & spacious boat. We happen to be the only ones on the cruise that evening. Even if they had full capacity of 6 people (plus crew), there was plenty of room to move about and sit comfortably. It was so refreshing to be away from crowds and enjoy time on the water. We were offered non alcoholic beverages and chips. We enjoyed conversation with Captain Gray & Gabriel as they tried to seek out whales for us. Gabriel was very knowledgeable about the whales and shared a lot of good information with us. It was a beautiful evening. On our last night in Maui we took another sunset cruise on the Amore. Spence was our captain for the evening and we were happy to see that Gabriel was on the cruise again with us. This time we drove up along the shoreline. Captain Spence talked about the area & gave us information about the land. He was very knowledgable & passionate about the island. Captain Spence & Gabriel also made it their mission to see the whales (Thank you to both of you!). The whales were very active this evening (it is whale season). At one point, we were surrounded by whales! We weren’t sure where to look. A mom & her calf came right to the boat and swam below. Whales were breaching in the distance and one was slapping their tail. We were all so busy watching the whales we almost forgot to look at the amazing sun setting. Captain Spence & Gabriel made sure we didn’t miss that. It was just beautiful. The winds had picked up & it was a little choppy. Though, it wasn’t a problem with Captain Spence "at the helm" of this Boston Whaler. The Amore handled the choppy water like a dream. We had some spray on us a couple times as we headed back in. They gave us towels and made sure we were positioned safely on the boat as we continued to take photos. They truly provide top notch, professional service. If you are in Maui, you won't want to miss this opportunity. Spoil yourself & cruise aboard the Amore for a beautiful Maui sunset!

We recently went on a whale-watching tour, and it was an unforgettable experience! Captain Spencer and Zade made the trip truly exceptional. Both were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, answering all our questions about whales and other topics with enthusiasm and patience. Their passion for what they do really shines through, making the experience even more enjoyable. The highlight, of course, was seeing the whales up close! It was a breathtaking sight and felt like a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Spencer did a great job ensuring we had the best views while respecting the animals’ natural habitat. The boat itself was very comfortable and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the gyro stabilizer, which made the ride so smooth that I could fully enjoy the trip, even though I’m prone to motion sickness. The two-hour tour flew by in what felt like minutes, thanks to the crew’s hospitality and engaging explanations. My husband and I have been on dozens of snorkel trips in Hawaii. Hawaii Nautical Oahu dolphin snorkel and sail is among the best. Our crew of captain, Sabrina and Bronson were professional, friendly, laid back and down to earth. We were picked up on time at our hotel in a newer, clean van. Our boat was new, clean and beautiful maintained. We saw spinner dolphins immediately. To our surprise, we saw several humpback whales, including a newborn calf. Our captain kept a safe, ethical distance while giving us a great view. Low key music played softly as we reached our snorkel spot. We saw fish of course, but also saw a turtle and eagle ray right away. Wraps and chips for lunch were delicious. We had several small children on our tour, and the crew made sure they were safe and happy at all times. Don't hesitate to book with this company.

Captain Spence took us on an amazing 2 hour whale watching tour in his luxury boat- Amore. We saw so many whales, up close. This was by far, the best tour we have ever been on. Captain Spence was extremely knowledgeable and clearly loves his career. We had so much fun and plan to do this again on our next visit.

It was amazing!!! Ryan and Zade could not have been better guides. Swimming with turtles, eels, exploring the reef, and then out to see the most amazing whales of our lives up close and personal! There’s not a better boat or crew in all of the islands. We will definitely be back!

Hawaiian Nautical of Oahu Whale Watch Waikiki from the Kewalo Basin Harbor was awesome, we had the best fun and got to see some whales. Met some good people in the crew as well as guest.

The crew was entertaining, knowledgeable, engaging and fun to be around. They made very one feel comfortable and safe on the trip Would definitely be going back out again with this company and crew

Went whale watching this morning. Early in the season; Capt. Brian amd first mate Kyle were awesome; very patient and it paid off with a whale breaching very close to the boat 3 times and then having it go beneath it. Very awesome. Great day on the water.

My husband and I had an amazing few hours out on the water! Beautiful boat, great snorkeling (so many turtles!), and a wonderful crew! We are experienced snorkelers, and stayed in the water for quite some time. But the crew has more flexibility than the larger boats and can modify the tour based on their passengers’ skill and preferences. We lucked out and were actually the only passengers on Sunday morning, so we had a private tour with no other boats in sight! Snacks, water, and soft drinks are available on board, and you are given a stipend at the General Store to buy food before, or after the trip. We had lunch afterwards - yummy fish tacos and pulled pork sandwich. Highly recommend this trip — it was so worth it to avoid the crowds! Tip: check out their website before booking the trip - there was a 25% promotion for November bookings.

Not a very good experience for first time snorkel. The guide keep getting way too far ahead and not helping my teenage Niece. Also, it was to be a snorkel cruise and was not told it would also be a fishing expedition. They kept stopping and going just to land a marlin fish which they killed and gutted right in front of everyone which didn't help my Niece's nausea at all. It was almost 2 hours into the cruise before ever getting into the water. We did see lots of fish and turtles once the snorkel began. Please do better.

Wonderful morning seeing beautiful scenery and snorkelling with turtles. Captain and first mate were so helpful and knowledgeable. Boat was lovely and fast. Our kids loved it.

It was the best adventure with the best crew ever! The captain and first mate made the 3 hours the adventure of a lifetime. It was so good we had to go back two days later!

Wonderful captain and 1st mate. Nice intimate setting customized to the day. They also give you a credit at the store for your choice of snacks and beverages.

The crew are friendly and informative. We learned more facts about humpback whales, migration and behaviors than all our friends who have lived in Hawaii for over a decade. The boat is impeccable and deluxe. The viewings were spectacular to say the least.

Our whale watching trip with Tanner and crew was phenomenal. The boat is beautiful and Tanner knew exactly where to find the whales. We will be back!
