- Mickey2n0 contributionsHollywood/Beverly Hills Tour: Excellent Assistance with Special NeedsThe driver was very kind and accommodating for a person with a wheelchair. He always helped and ensured that the bus was parked in a safe location for the passengers to disembark, including those with special needs. He never complained about the extra work required loading and unloading the wheelchair or the extra time needed to assist the passenger to/from the bus. He was also very knowledgeable about the area and the sites he was taking us to. His driving was excellent. As a professional driver myself, I am always a little more critical of other drivers. He was safe, courteous and smooth with his driving, acceleration and stopping. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time!Written 30 January 2020

- yanni19760 contributionsGreat Tour of Los Angeles!I decided to take this tour so that I could visit the Los Angeles area (Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice Beach, etc.) from my resort in Anaheim. Our driver, Mike, was knowledgeable and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I also enjoyed the music that was played on the bus was a good mix and kept the trip pleasant. I would recommend this tour to anyone.Written 11 November 2019
- JOSHUA K0 contributionsGreat tour, great driver. It was a lifelong dream to tour LA. This tour certainly didn't disappoint, the driver was polite, very good and very knowledgeable of the area. The choice of places were spot on too! It was great to have the odd stop off at points of interest and it was fantastic to spend some time to soak up the atmosphere. Great value too!!Written 10 November 2019
- chewy1100 contributionsGood way to see city if you have minimal timeBooked on tour as didn’t want to hire a car and spend day navigating city as we were only there 48 hours on a stop over. Picked up from hotel at 8.30am. Driver was very nice. He takes payment and has card machine if you are paying with plastic. They also accept cash. Bus was roomy and had good air con. First stop was Hollywood Boulevard to see Chinese theatre and from there the Hollywood sign. Took almost 2 hours in traffic from Anaheim to reach. Stopped for 45 mins. Enough time to see Dolby theatre where the Oscars is held and the stars and hand prints outside Chinese theatre. Walked into shopping Mall and up escalators to see sign in the distance. It’s not close up. You will need a decent zoom on your camera to make it look good. Be careful around here it’s dirty and there are a lot of unsavoury characters. Do not take any CD’s handed to you, they will force you to buy the rubbish! Then drove through Beverley Hills and past Rodeo Drive. No stop here. Then had an hour for lunch at the Farmers Market next to ABC studios. Great choice of foods and not expensive also a shopping mall to explore. After lunch went to Santa Monica pier for another 45 mins stop. Famous but not much here, then on to Venice or Muscle beach for another 40 mins. This was a complete dump. One of those places you need to tick off the list and move on quickly. Too much time in both beach stops would have preferred to stop in Beverly Hills and wander around there. Got back to hotel at 5.45pm. Long day and be prepared to sit in the delightful LA traffic. Glad we did it but if we ever go back will hire an car and get out of the city.Written 5 November 2019

- 765lesliel0 contributionsA tour with unnecessary visits to Venice BeachWe took an AMG Tour & Coach Full Day Tour to Los Angeles, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Venice Beach. The guide, Mike, was helpful and courteous and provided us with interesting information. I found the stop in Hollywood interesting although the Hollywood sign was very small and far away. It is unfortunate that we did not stop in Beverly Hills to walk about. The stop in The Market Place was interesting from a historical point of view and to have lunch. I found the stop in Santa Monica not very useful and the stop on Venice Beach totally unnecessary. All in all a not so very interesting tour.Written 4 August 2019

- 853emis0 contributionsHollywood tour from Orange County CaliforniaMy cousin came from out of town and took the tour with AMG. Since I live here, I thought I knew it all. But I was in for a surprise. I only took the tour to avoid the notorious LA traffic. But I learned a lot. I saw so many filming locations. Our driver Nate was so informative. The tour Gives you plenty of time to explore LA on your own during the stops. Next time I have a family member come to visit, this is the tour I’ll take them on.Written 2 May 2019
- Gary B0 contributionsDay trip to Universal StudioWe did a day trip to universal studio park from Disneyland. The driver picked us up first and then a few people at 2 other hotels. The trip there took 1.5 hours and it was very pleasant . The trip back took over 2 hours and was in heavy traffic. Yes the day for Universal cost a fair amount with everything included, but the driver did a great job and I would not have wanted to drive in that traffic. Im guessing a Uber if Lyft would have been a lot more considering the traffic delays. I was impressed by the service and the company. Would use them againWritten 3 March 2019
- Matt E0 contributionsEasy way to see LA in a dayWe decided to do this trip as it picked you up and dropped you off from our Anaheim hotel. Was a good way to see majority of LA landmarks over a 8 hour period. Chinese theatre, farmers market, Santa Monica, Venice beach..short times spent at each stop was perfect. We didn't care about the celebrity side of the tour but the commentary was out of date. Do you really need to know that an actor visted a hospital? This tour just saves you time and you get to see major landmarks.Written 28 September 2018
- Debra B0 contributionsExperienceThis was a great way to see L.A. We saw all the great sights & were able to get on & off the bus to shop & explore. I never would have wanted to drive so this was a relaxing way to see everything. Great driver & lots of fun.Written 27 August 2018

We took a day-tour of L.A. with AMG. Our 4-year old son was well looked after and they even offered to supply a booster seat in their van.
We were picked up and dropped off right at our hotel. Our driver Mike was a real professional. He was a safe driver and he managed to explain a lot of things and answer questions while navigating L.A. traffic very well. He was very polite and made sure the passengers were comfortable. Altogether there were 12 pax. so the trip didn't feel too crowded.
The highlight of the tour was seeing Hollywood Boulevard. It's a touristy place but still has a lot of glamour.
I would recommend AMG for a nice quick daytime tour of L.A.

We totally enjoyed our sightseeing LA trip with Mike! He was an outstanding tour guide with so much information about LA,We lucked out an actually had him as a private guide since the other group canceled. We were picked up at our hotel at 8:30. We stopped at The Dolby and Graumans Theater, Walk of Fame. Then to Hollywood, Great information about celebrity homes! Mike is a movie aficionado and will show you all the spots along the way that we’re in so many movies. Santa Monica beach and Venice beach were also fun stops! Thanks we would definitely book another trip with this company!

Safe driver and interactive with the whole group. My husband and I took a tour on one of the first days of our trip to LA and were pleased with the ease of which we traveled to many spots around the city (picked up and dropped back to our resort in Anaheim) and provided with lots of Movie trivia along the way. Highly recommend!

This tour was awesome. Only had a couple of days to spend in the area and wanted to see as much as possible. This tour fit the bill. Saw many of the major tourist areas of LA, learned some film and city history along the way and had a great time while doing it. Our guide was very knowledgeable. If you have limited time and want to squeeze as many sites into a day as possible this is definitely the tour for that.

The guide told many anecdotes, but he was also very sexist. A lot of comments like "my boss asked me if I care what clients say about me and I told him I don't give a shit!", "never marry a woman in church because then you will always have to agree with her." ", he began to ask the men in the group who cooked better, his wife or his grandmother, and then he incorporated all these jokes into what he continued telling about the visit. The truth is that I didn't feel comfortable or respected. Many derogatory comments about what he personally was not interested in, such as "this is a museum but I have never been and do not plan to go", "Eat on a terrace (on the street)? No, thank you, I don't want them to see me chew." ", "This house has been painted and now it is the ugliest in LA." There will be those who find these things funny, but the truth is that they could not have been more rancid and, as we would say in Spain, brother-in-law comments. We did not stop at Rodeo Drive, even though the planning specified it. In Beverly Hills there was an art fair, which I wish we had had the opportunity to spend time there, but of course for our guide it was "a piece of crap" that wouldn't let us "park where he wanted to take the photo." I understand that we were not going to have time there, but it seemed like a very interesting fair and again it was a comment of contempt towards art and everything that was not talking about the price of housing in the area and the number of cars that had to be taken into account. a family (four, by the way, the daily one, the weekend one, the "woman's" one and the spare one).
I wouldn't repeat it again.

We took a tour of the city. We went through basically the whole city including Santa Monica, Venice, and ate at the farmers market. I really enjoyed the tour and our driver Mike was a great guide, gave interesting facts I didn’t know about, and was overall the perfect man to give the tour.

My parents and I had an excellent time with Mike seeing the highlights of the LA area. He expertly navigated traffic and told great stories of movies filmed or where actors lived. The tour is great for all ages!

My friend and I were looking for a tour of LA whilst on holiday in Anaheim, and this was prefect. Mike, our driver was great, he was very knowledgeable and always had a story to tell us, he made the day very enjoyable. We saw all the sites we wanted to see, the pickup from our hotel was very smooth, and we had a great amount of time at every stop off.

We were truly blessed to have Albert as our tour driver. He is very knowledgeable, has a great personality and made our tour so enjoyable and fun. It was like having a long time uncle showing us the town where he grew up. His ability to bring together a group of total strangers and weave us together like one big family was simply amazing. Highly recommended.

Do kids 6 and 8 year olds need car seat for this?
Written 10 July 2022
I would say no, it's a small private bus with seat belts and you stop at all different places to get out and spend time at these places the seats on the bus are pretty high too and plenty of windows
