Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with such a friendly atmosphere by Jan at Rigatours.IV we had a fantastic start! Jan our tour guide was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that he deserves a special thanks. We had a great day there he had taken us all over and shown us so much more of Latvia. Such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). truly enjoyed walking the two of us through the many areas we visited. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural path with the husky was a great way to end our holiday. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to us. All respect for Jan who does a great job, a true sample of excellent tour guide! Many thanks again and I recommend rigatours to everyone!

The Husky dog sledding tour from Riga was an unforgettable experience! The dogs were incredible—so energetic and friendly—and the staff was professional and passionate about the sledding adventure. The snowy landscapes were breathtaking, and the thrill of speeding through the forest was truly exhilarating. The tour was well-organized, and we had plenty of time to interact with the huskies and learn about the sport. It’s a must-do for anyone visiting Riga in winter! Highly recommend this unique and exciting experience!

We did the transfer from Riga to Tallin, stopping in some atractions in Latvia before reaching Estonia. It was a very pleasant day and we got to see more of the country, which was really interesting as well.

We used Riga Tours for a private transfer hotel to hotel from Vilnius to Riga, and then two days later from Riga to Tallinn. Jans was amazing. He’s very personable and speaks great English. We feel we really learned a ton about the culture too. On the first transfer we stopped at the Hill of crosses and at Rundale palace. Both awesome experiences. We also had a great lunch. On the second transfer we stopped at the market in Sigulda, Gaujas National Park, Vidzeme sea cliffs then lunch in Parnu, before getting to Tallinn. Great experience all the way around. The tour was above and beyond what we expected. We flew in from Berlin & I was slightly worried beforehand that there wasn't going to be enough snow. In the end we got lucky and had so much the night before that the whole of Riga was completely blanketed. Jans picked us up from the hotel and was welcoming and great company throughout. The husky sledding itself was a very intimate and chilled experience (there was so much snow that it was apparently slower than normal) and it was clear how much the husky owners (I'm so sorry, I forget your names) love and care for their amazing dogs! Aside from the actual sledding we really didn't know all of the extra things that we would see on the tour. It was so nice to have the opportunity to explore the beautiful area through the eyes of a local. Thanks so much for making the experience so special and personal. Would love to come back one day!

Jan's was an excellent tour guide. He really made us feel welcome from start to finish. The dog sledding was an unforgettable experience and my daughter really enjoyed herself! The owners of the dogs were so welcoming and friendly too! We enjoyed mulled wine after the sledding and then visited a small village where we had the opportunity to taste local wine which was delicious! I'd definitely recommend this tour! Brilliant day out with Jans, who was really friendly and knowledgeable! Amazing husky sledding experience where we had turns of being musher and passenger! Jans was a super guide giving us great info on places of interest along the journey. We also visited Ligatne in the national park and visited old sandstone caves and a unique local wine shop. We stopped by a picturesque river, too. Jans even compiled a cool video of our husky sledding. I'd strongly recommend these tours!!

We went on a trip to Sigulda bobsleigh track with Oskars. He picked us up right from our hotel and was immediately friendly and easy to get on with. We did two runs on the Sigulda track, a taxi bob and a skeleton bob. They were both amazing and so much fun. Afterwards Oskars took us around the local area and we stopped for coffee then went back to Riga to try some local food at the food markets. It was a great day trip and we got a cool video of the bobsleigh runs to remember it by.

Fantastic day tour and husky ride. We had a great day out! A great host and interesting places visited. We did the longer tour out in the woods would recommend if you have the time for the longer trip

Fantastic day with Jans as our guide . Such a friendly guy . In between husky sledding ( you actually go on your own with no instructor) and visiting the only hill in Latvia he kept us going with Black current Balsam , mulled wine, and some tasty snacks . Great value for money . We were lucky that the weather was good and there was so much snow . Left the hotel at 12.20pm from Riga old town and came back at around 5.30pm . Perfect day . Thanks jans.

The dog sledding trip was the highlight of our short holiday in Riga and we were really glad we decided to do it. Jans was a great host - he picked us up from the hotel and took us directly to the location about an hour outside Riga. Once there we met Nickolas and learnt about his dogs and sledding (Nickolas and his dogs race for real in the season all over the Baltic area) and then we were off ‘mushing’ down the track - a unique experience. Afterwards a hot mulled wine and some Black Balsam soon warmed us up and the we were off with Jans to visit places of interest in the area with a short stop for some lunch before being taken back to our hotel in Riga. A great day out

We went with a group of 9 friends on the husky tour. The tour is really well organised with very nice people. It was an experience to never forget!! I would really recommend!!

What an amazing experience from the start to the end. Our guide, Jans, couldn't be any better. He does his job by passion and make the entire experience even more exciting. I highly recommend this tour. When I'm back in Riga, will go again.

Absolutely fantastic day! Our host Oscar was amazing. Pick up at the hotel and drive out to the husky’s took about one hour. Comfortable car and easy journey. We had lots of time to cuddle the husky’s before the sledding which was so much fun! Hot drinks and a fire helped to keep us warm on a -19 day! On the way back we did a detour to a beautiful village in the valley and visited a winery. Highly recommend this company and this was a real highlight of our trip to Riga.
