Fantastic tour
This tour is a fantastic way to see a beautiful city. Mariya is a superb guide, very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the country. It is wonderful to hear how a Latvian feels about her country’s historic struggle to gain independence. After two hours, I felt that I had seen most of the main sights and I was ready to explore further on my own. Thank you, Mariya.

Diverse stroll trough a lovely city
Aug. 2018 • Friends
My sister and I took the tour with our very friendly guide, Erika who met us at the harbour. after a short discussion of what we wanted to see, we began with a short history of the old town. She took us through a great portion of the town, showing us the highlights as well as recommending where to get authentic (made in Latvia) souvenirs and where to eat. She accommodated my sister's slow pace (due to surgery) and attempted as much as possible to find an easy route. She was also gracious enough to add time at the end to cover the main art deco street, even though this was not officially part of our tour. Her English was excellent (she was a former English teacher), and she was very easy to understand. I would recommend this tour for people who have specific interests (we had family who lived in Riga before WW2), as the vendor is open to customizing the tour via email prior to the meet-up. It was a fun, interesting 2.5 hours!

Awesome tour of Riga
May 2018 • Couples
We were a couple booking this last min before we arrived in Riga, but finalized the details before even flew out. Great communication that already had me comfortable and pleased that I booked this.

Met us at our rented apartment. On time with a big smile and excitement. Provided us a few option of what style we would like and we were off.

Gave us a whole tour around the city, 360 degree style which range from current facts/ past and a lot history and architecture. Said the tour will last 2h, but it was at least 2.5h , but that made no change as we saw everything. Finished on an amazing high and gave us tips on what to do next and what to see.

Would go again next time as city and building tend to change and redeveloped.

A city tour with Santa - the best way to get in touch with Riga
Feb. 2018 • Friends
We enjoyed our tailored city tour very much. We started at the old town with a short stopover at the central market and later we visited some parts of the Art Nouveau district. Within 4,5 hours Santa gave us a lot of information about Riga, the city history and showed us many places we never would had seen without her. She was very helpful, speaks excellent English and we really recommend her as a tour guide!

Excellent guided adventure
Oct. 2017 • Friends
Had an informative and relaxed tour of old Riga with Santa. She guided my friends and I in a friendly manner giving lots of information and answering all our questions.
We also used Santa for a tour of Sigulda and despite the bad weather we enjoyed our visit to the national park and two castles. Santa speaks perfect English and was able to explain to us the History and importance of the places we visited.

Great city tour with the best guide!
Oct. 2017 • Friends
I can only recommend the private tour Santa Ogrina offers. She is very knowledgeable, takes you to the hidden gems and tailors the tour to your preferences (we mixed in a little bit of Art Nouveau into the old city tour). In summary one of the best city guides I had in a long long time. Thanks again, Santa
