The first in line is the Visitor Centre, where the tour starts and our guests arrive, a waiting centre in THE UNDERGROUND with an information desk, café and gift shop. Inside the Parliament, you can see the Dome Hall, the Ceremonial Steps, of course, the Holy Crown, and an exhibition on your way out. The ticket price also includes a museum outside the Parliament called the Parliament Museum.

The Parliament tour and the audio guide were fantastic. We really enjoyed learning some details about the buildings and about Hungarian history. I would definitely recommend the tour—it is worth it. What was not nice was the process of getting inside. We had bought tickets in advance online. I received multiple messages reminding us not to be late, threatening we wouldn’t be let inside should we not arrive 20 minutes before the tour time. We arrived early as instructed, and what we were experiencing over about 45 minutes was absolute chaos. The person processing the visitors was nice, polite, and spoke good English; it was the process itself that was crazy. The guy collected people’s passports and ID cards. Some people refused to surrender their passports (as they should), so they had to accompany him inside for the passport check. Some people had a problem: they were not EU citizens and by mistake had purchased tickets for EU citizens. They had to pay the price difference, but this wasn’t possible at the cashier’s. They had to do it online—which didn’t work. The poor guy trying to get everyone accounted for and processed tried really hard, but SO much time was wasted. In the end, he came back with a whole stack of passports and ID cards and started calling people’s names to return these documents in exchange for a ticket. If someone wanted to steal somebody’s passport, it would be really easy. For some reason, the man didn’t collect my ID card, but I did receive a ticket. Are there separate rules depending on which EU country one comes from?

Make sure to book this attraction in advance. There were a lot of people turning up who could not book as tours were sold out.

We booked the audio guide tour on English. We had to queue and wait to go through security when our time slot was called. We then left our jackets in the cloakroom which was free of charge and given a ticket to ve able to get it back at the end. We then collected our audio guide then a tour guide took us to start the tour. There was a lot of information in the audio guide which was very informative.

We weren't notified until on the tour that the usual guards weren't present so there would be no changing of the guards. We also couldn't visit all areas as they were setting up for the event and the museum was closed due to a private event.none of this information was available prior to booking so was slightly disappointing we paid full price and couldn't access everything. Everything we did do was very good and well organised.

We booked this tour directly on the parliament building website, it was confusing but we managed to book an English audio tour for 9am, it was the only one available online about 1 month before we came to Budapest. We did notice that there was a small number of English tours available when we arrived but when we left at 10am they were sold out. Also don’t pay for the toilets inside the building as just outside there are plenty of free ones!!!. The tour was good and we learnt a lot as a family and cost £79 ( one daughter classed as a student). Print your tickets before you arrive

The Parliament Building is one of the most outstanding buildings in Budapest, so we decided to go onto one of the official tours. We purchased tickets on the day itself, half an hour before the tour started for 10,000 Ft each. I would higly recommend the tour, as this seems to be the only way to access the inside of the building and go through the various chambers and corridors. Well worth the visit!

Buying a ticket through this organisation is like buying from a ticket tout tbh. They charge double what tickets go for directly on the Parliament website ( which was showing as sold out), meet you outside, give you a ticket and then disappear. You then join the same tour as everyone else who booked direct, choose your audio guide and off you go.
The tour itself was about 45 minutes and a beautiful building incorporating the upper chamber and the holy crown in the central dome. It was really beautiful but paying double leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

Budapest Parliament is an opulent, historically fascinating building on the banks of the Danube in the centre of Budapest. The tour is very expensive for the brief 30 minutes it takes to walk round and over subscribed, so expect some pushing and jostling. It is a magnificent building and I would recommend but be warned, it's overpriced. Walk around the outside as a cheaper alternative.

The comment refers not to the certainly beautiful Parliament in Budapest, but to the almost zero service offered by headhout. Traveling in May I paid 90 euros to have the guide present, instead of the 40 euros expected with an audio guide, instead when we reached the Parliament we met the guide (a girl who spoke Italian) who accompanied us to change the tickets, then a colleague of hers arrived (she didn't understand what role she had...) and together they left... I reached them asking where the guide was and they replied (laughing) that the guide was waiting for us inside. Once inside there was no headout guide but only the official guide of the Parliament who followed a guided tour and said absolutely nothing (we were given an audio guide), like us also another couple. The others who paid 40 euros had the same things as us. A real dump. Absolute lack of seriousness, I recommend turning to other, certainly more serious, associations. I will never, ever turn to headout again

Ci dispiace che non ti sia piaciuto il servizio. Come accennavi nella prenotazione, i tour sono con audioguida e all'interno c'è una guida che controlla il funzionamento dei dispositivi.

We tried to book a tour on our first afternoon in Budapest for some point during our 4 day visit . Unfortunately even out of high season, tours were fully booked up for the next three weeks . If you queued at 7.30am, there were a few tickets held back but very much a first come first serve basis. Quite pricey too but if you have an Eu passport ( need passport to book visit) you get your ticket at a discounted price. The architecture outside is simply stunning during the day and when lit up at night . Shame we didn’t get to see inside . Maybe next time ,

Book a timed entrance ticket in advance to avoid disappointment as tickets on the day sell out quickly. The building is spectacular inside and out. You must go round with an escorted group. The audio guide provided was of good quality, staff were polite and helpful. You can take photos in certain rooms but not of the crown, which is guarded. Glad to have visited, though felt a little disappointed the tickets for non EU citizens were more expensive than those living in the EU. Also please be aware as it is a Government building, you must show your passport or driving licence before entry and we had to allow our tour guide to collect them up for the group to show to the staff, which made us just a little apprehensive!

A very splendid building and informative tour, but it was very short and quite expensive, especially for us from the UK who had booked on the English Tour, not realising that non-EU visitors did not qualify for discounted ticket prices. I think it cost us about £45 each with the supplement we had to pay. That being said, if you chance buying tickets on the day directly from the visitor centre, you may be disappointed as they only sell tickets for that day and when we arrived most tours were already sold out. So I suppose you could consider the premium a queue jumping levy.
