Overview
Nobody wants to waste time waiting in line at Budapest’s attractions, especially in hot or cold weather. Save time by prebooking priority access to the Széchenyi Spa thermal baths complex. Inside, enjoy a private changing cabin instead of lockers and shared changing rooms, and use the 18 indoor and outdoor pools at leisure. Upgrade to add a massage, spa goodies, or a City Park Segway tour to make your experience extra special.
What to Expect
Book your desired option and arrive at Budapest’s Széchenyi Spa in City Park at your preferred time between 9am and 6pm. Then, simply bypass the entrance lines and head inside via the dedicated private desk.

An attendant will show you to a private cabin where you can change and store your belongings, and then enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools as you please. Relax in warm waters—temperatures vary across the 18 pools—and steam chambers and saunas. Don’t worry about timings: Your ticket gives you full-day access.

If you’ve upgraded for a massage, enter the treatment rooms at your selected time and enjoy your aromatherapy massage. If you’ve chosen the spa package, enjoy extras, such as a gift towel, flip-flops, and shampoo-and-shower gel. Plus, if you’ve upgraded for a City Park Segway tour, just set off to meet your guide when required.

Your baths experience ends on leaving the complex.

Great experience

We spent a lovely morning at the Szechenyi Spa, we had a changing cabin and hired some towels, the spa was great, so warm and a beautiful building.

Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful building, although a little tired in places. Changing rooms could do with updating, especially shower area. Take your own towels if you can. A lovely experience though, especially being outside at night with a bar available.

Lovely final evening in Budapest, but some things could easily be improved

We used our Hop on/hop off bus to get to City Park and then we walked to the baths. Lovely way to spend our final evening. Really great after dark as one pool is lit with coloured lights. It is really relaxing under the stars...More

walked miles to be astounded at the price

family of 4, heard great things about this spa but they wanted 60 odd pounds for 2 adults and 2 children before renting towels!, walked away and went to the zoo which was great

Good

You can’t get enough of those warm waters. There’s always noise from people talking but it’s fine. You can bring food and keep it in your locker. Recommend to buy online to skip the line and have. 20 minutes massage. If you buy the ticket...More

You definitely need a locker, which in fact is a changing cubicle, but I don't recall there being an option to buy a ticket without the cubicle. At most, you only want to be carrying a towel around with you. We didn't even... More

The water is really warm, we visited in December, in freezing fog, and it was lovely!
