- Wendy1191863630 contributionsInteresting exhibitionInteresting exhibition of a nuclear bunker, fortunately never used for it's original purpose. Quite atmospheric. Limited written information available although this does not detract. There are some useful videos. If you have children there are items of clothing, gas masks and other items to try on, touch.Written 15 December 2024
- Maria K0 contributionsUnforgettable overnight experienceNot for those who seek comfort. An unforgettable experience for the whole family, but because of the rough living arrangements. Quite dirty and the bathrooms were smelly and in bad shape. A good historical insight which the teenagers did not appreciate as much due to their focus on the uncomfortable overnight stay. Still, can recommend for those who seek unforgettable experiences.Written 15 August 2024
- johntwilker0 contributionsA sobering piece if history. What an incredible piece of history. We did the self-guided tour and it was... awesome. Thinking of that space being built when it was, and what it was for is really sobering. I'm glad they are able to offer it as place to learn and apparently, party. :)Written 17 June 2024
- goodguyjas0 contributionsFascinating look at a Cold War nuclear bunker. Lots to see and read. Grim but enjoyable.Although a grim purpose and of course drab feel it was very interesting. It had lots of period equipment and technology with various video shorts playing about the machinery plus things to read and interactive elements too. A reasonable amount of rooms and walkways to visit. Includes cafe and option to stay there overnight. Not really claustrophobic and you don’t go underground really. You are essentially going into the hillside. Ok price to pay for what you see.Written 14 June 2024
- G23K0 contributionsTour and sleepIt is a must be for any history fans. it is possible to sleep in there and I highly recommend doing it to everybody who does not care about luxury. All rooms and corridors are full of thematic equipment such as gas masks, cans for those masks, hemical uniforms etc. It is perfect experience for 1 or 2 nights. (I recommend bringing your own sleeping bag). Tour itself was interesting and it was included in room price!Written 16 May 2024
- Dusan H0 contributionsA must seeVery nice attraction with a great guide. Highly recommend. You can also accomodate here, but that seemed to us a bit too scary. 😃Written 1 September 2023
- Andrej B0 contributionsAn interesting placeInteresting place to see. Has an unusal and unique atmosphere. Reminds of old times. Takes 20-30 minutes to go through. Also good in bad weatherWritten 8 April 2023
- paatk0 contributionsOvernight in the 10-Z BunkerOur family had an awesome experience staying in 10-Z Bunker in Brno! The rooms are spartan and the bathrooms are down one of the tunnels (all to be expected in a Cold War era nuclear fallout shelter. It was like staying all night in a 1950s time capsule), but wandering around and viewing all the history was fascinating! Great staff, great location and an all-around good value! If your in Brno check it out!Written 19 January 2023
- bobbyh96220 contributionsInteresting Cold War displayGood place to kill an hour of your time. It was good you could touch everything on display. Could do with more signs in other languages but overall informative of the tv on display. The price on the website does not match up with what is being charged as well was CZK 180 not CZK 150 what is being displayed online.Written 18 January 2023
- Catherine_review0 contributionsGood experienceIt took me around an hour to get around so it is a nice filler. The way information is given is though videos most of which have subtitles. They cover some very interesting things such as supplying air an communications. I think you are able to try on the uniform they used to wear which is a lot of fun.Written 20 September 2022
- Supermumof30 contributionsWorth a visitThis place is actually very interesting. It’s bigger than I expected with lots of information to read about. Even my teenager thought it was interestingWritten 22 April 2022
- Marie H0 contributionsExperienceHostel placed in actuall bunker! Sleeping in cells, surrounded by many artefacts from the unfamous communist time. You can walk around for free or join the guide (daily at 7pm). The staff is helpful and the location is perfect. The only minus is the breakfast - retro is ok but too much retro is not ok. And instant coffee just shouldn't be there.Written 6 December 2020
- MichaelaK940 contributionsGreat experienceWe stayed in the bunker overnight and it was a great and unique experience. We also did the tour and it was really interesting. I definitely recommend.Written 3 December 2020
- alii6910 contributionsSuper interestingThis place is really cool. A bunker from world war 2 and the cold war. The television displays through the bunker tell the story in a nice way. Recommended for an hour visit or so.Written 5 September 2020
- jarkoreo0 contributionsBack to another timeTotally recommended tour with a lot of information about the nuclear bunker was, with some reminiscences at the end of some things of the communist era (commercials, stuff you could buy in a supermarket, etc). Specially interesting to make the tour with my partner as she was born in a communist country.Written 6 August 2020

Experience that I Recommendation to try to everyone, and especially to young people, to have a small idea of what all those people who lived through the period of World War II and its bombing of citizenship felt.
You can choose to be accompanied by a Guide or without, but what you see is quite clear and explicit, I have done without it.
At the entrance the staff provides a map of the bunker and explains the most salient things (in English). Many corridors with many rooms used for various uses, such as the kitchen, the telecommunications room, a small library with books and newspapers of the time, several rooms that served as moments of aggregation, some others a little less (the suicide room). A lot of material from the present time, some other fairly faithfully reconstructed, including the mannequins.
Photographs and even touching objects are allowed, but I did not understand why they do not want to make videos.
Throughout the route you are accompanied by background music and the rumor of military propaganda, which added to the smell of damp makes this visit a bit mysterious.
The ticket price is definitely worth the visit.

As we bought the Brno pass, we got some discount from the tickets but the cashier wanted to give lower discount than we had so I had to show him the original discount, but he accepted it so there was no problem. Even though it was September, you should bring a pullover or a jacket because it was cold down here.
Overall, I recommend it very much!!

On 30 of December I bought the tickets on suggestion of TripAdviser it was said that the atraction is open the next day. When we came to the location next day the atraction was closed for that day and I could not get my money back. Really a bad experience. They should write the correct open hours before selling the tickets.

Was a cool experience. We got there at half past 11 and were sent away. They weren't open and had to come back in an hour. When we came back she sent us away again. We had to come back in half an hour. After we told them that we had already been sent away once and already had tickets, we were allowed to walk around independently. Apparently it was too much trouble to arrange a tour for us. Really cool to have been there! The woman's story on TV gives a clear picture of what it was like to take shelter. The location: 5 stars! Organization: 1 star.

Went here for something to do in Brno, a nice city but not over stuffed with attractions. Strange place, no one else in when we went. If you’ve ever watched Lost, you’d be taken by the kitsch 60s/70s tvs and strange public service videos. There was no explanation whatsoever of how the bunker came into commission or why it became a tourist place. Just a random collection of mainly gas masks and other assorted paraphernalia. Only cost a fiver each but even so felt a bit robbed.

Underground trenches, the walls are built of human bones and skulls, which have been transferred from the abandoned cemetery in the past.

different experience. it's not usual to see such "building", from strange part of history. it gives us just a part of the way of thinking from cold war period. tour itself takes about 30 minutes.

It’s a nice to place to get more knowledge about the Second World War. It’s a paid tourist place, but if you have a student card, you’ll get a discount. The WiFi didn’t work in that day.

A must-see when you're in Brno. The place looks authentic – all the items on display are from the right period, no modern signs take you out of the experience. And it is a depressing one, walking through the damp and rather chill corridors. Olds TV sets from the period shows snippets of video, which only add to the atmosphere.
