- 922KimM0 contributionsFacts, food and beer of PragueMy husband and I did this tour our first day in Prague. What an amazing way to start our vacation. Jakob was our guide and he was AMAZING! He was like a good friend. The history is amazing and he knew everything about the city. The tour is great because it is just off the touristy paths so you feel you really get to know Prague. The beer and food on the tour was a fabulous introduction to the city! I think we will start all our holidays like this from now on. If we had more time, we would have done more tours with Jakob for sure.Written 27 October 2024
- 354agnethab0 contributionsBest city tour!Had a great time, it was like walking through the city with a friend. Jakob is an excellent guide. Good drinks and food included, makes the tour well worth the price. This was so many levels above the average tours. Five stars +Written 27 October 2024
- katelK2651LN0 contributionsGreat Old Town TourWe took the "Oldtown tour with local beer and food" and were extremely happy with experience! Ondra was very knowledgeable and was really great at breaking down the history into small bites, so we could get a lot of info packed into this one tour, but was always happy to elaborate if the group had more in depth questions. Highly recommend starting off your vacay with this tour to get a broad idea of old town. The beer and food included in the tour also helped us to taste a variety of local dishes and beers so we could hone in on whatever we wanted more of later. All around a great tour!Written 14 September 2024
- Harrystravels0 contributionsHighly recommend! Fun, delicious and very informative!!We had a fabulous time on this tour and it was the very best way to start our first visit to Prague. Our guide Jakub was amazing. He gave us so many great pieces of information, looked after everyone in our group well and was very engaging. The food was amazing and the beer/wine was very much enjoyed. A GF diet was also catered for. We can’t wait to now go back to a few of the places he showed us and visit other recommendations.Written 7 September 2024
- saragerene0 contributionsPerfect tour!Perfect tour- lots of info without the crowds!!! It is apparent that this is a passion of the owners. Great beer and food spots!!! Highly recommend!Written 15 August 2024
- T2923QBmikeh0 contributionsFantastic. Totally recommended! This is an excellent tour and we would completely recommend it. Our guide was brilliant. So knowledgeable and engaging. We learnt all about Prague. The food was a substantial selection of many traditional Czech dishes and left us completely full. Also picked up plenty of top tips of where to go. A brilliant way to see the city.Written 29 June 2024
- himv20180 contributionsBest tour through Prague! The tour through Prague was amazing. The group was small (10) and we saw the most beautiful (hidden) places of the city. The tour done by Ondra was almost as we were with a friend guiding us through Prague.Written 17 June 2024
- travelbugmomof20 contributionsFood, Beer, History - A fun day with JakubThis was an excellent tour to taste a variety of Czech foods, enjoy a beer (or 2) and learn some history of Prague. Jakub was a wonderful guide who gave us great insights into the city, past and present, kept us away from all the crowds and “flag waving tours” so that we could enjoy the day. The small group and off the beaten path places made this tour feel like you were enjoying a day in the city with friends. Don’t miss the “presents” at the end of the tour. Made the rest of our trip even easier. Could not recommend more!Written 10 June 2024
- Wander252235133360 contributionsBoutique cozy tourThis tour is highly recommended! Excellent tour guide, boutique not overwhelming group of people, brief but well informative story telling, 2 decent different place to stop by to get beers and in one to dine 🤓 no hesitate to join guys!Written 16 May 2024
- clairedM4093WF0 contributionsMust do!Highly recommended! Small and intimate, much better than the large umbrella-following groups. An opportunity to discover the back streets and pubs we would not have tried otherwise. Ondra is very pleasant and adjusts very well to the group. Great choice of local foods to try.Written 16 May 2024
- Jjsho770 contributionsAwesome- highly recommend! This tour is fantastic! Ondra was an incredible guide. Our tour was super small which was amazing because we got to ask all of our questions and get to know Prague in a very intimate way. You get a beer stop and a food and beer stop. There is also wine and soda offered which was great for me. We walked all around Old Town and got a very detailed amount of information about real Prague v tourist Prague. There was time for photos and suggestions of places we could get more information about all the things we saw if we wanted. We loved this tour so much we are going to their Castle side tour tomorrow! Well worth the money spent.Written 11 May 2024
- shaneal20240 contributionsAmazing tour by a super knowledgeable localJacob gave us a spectacular tour. He brought us to famous sites and shared stories and history with us. He took us to local gems away from the tourists. He fed us well and the beer was great as well. And he gave us so many amazing pointers and recommendations for the rest of our time here. This tour is the best thing you could possibly do to start off your time in Prague!Written 2 May 2024
- Shane81810 contributionsA Friend in PragueOur tour with Jacob felt like time with a friend. We enjoyed seeing the highlights of Prague and appreciated getting away from the crowds. It was a great kickstart for our time in Prague. We learned so much about the history of the Czech Republic but it never felt like a history lesson. The food and beer were fantastic! The experience helped us feel comfortable ordering at restaurants for the rest of our trip. Thank you, Jacob, for a wonderful experience.Written 29 April 2024

Our hotel, Hotel Pod Vezi recommended this tour when we checked into the hotel. That evening we strolled about the Castle side of Prague and found it to be quaint. We retired to the room somewhat early that first evening so I took it upon myself to do some research on tours of the city. I've found it to be useful to have a tour of a city when you arrive to get a local's point of view and information which you can them use to strike out on your own to explore more in-depth on the locations and sites that the tour covers. I booked the tour for the Castle side of Prague because the Old Town side wasn't available until a few days out. I am glad I did, as this tour was great from beginning to end! I received a text the morning of our tour, from Ondra, to remind us and let us know where to meet him. We met Ondra a short distance from our hotel, and by short, I mean it was basically next door to the hotel! Ondra spoke English well and greeted us as we waited for the other couple that had booked the tour that morning. Our tour group totaled 6 people including our guide Ondra. Ondra noted that these tours have at most 10 people so the small size makes it nice as you can ask questions about the sites, and we did!
Once all were present, we had introductions and we were off to the tram to ride up the hill to the monastery. One of the selling points of this tour was the inclusion of beer and foot, and this didn't disappoint as the monastery had founded a brewery, which is now privatly owned, but the beer was awesome! After a beer at monastery we took in some information on the church there and the library from Ondra. We then headed down the hill to a view of Prague before making our way up some steps to explore more of Prague and the city walls. Ondra was full of information on many interesting topics and history of the city. We passed the U.S. Embassy and took in the Lennon Wall before making our way to St Tomas restaurant for some traditional Czech foot and beer. Here I actually had Czech wine though while everyone else in the party had beer. The beer and wine as well as the food were all great and Ondra provided some color on the food and restaurant. After this we made our way back through the town to our starting point where the tour ended.
I would recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in a tour with a knowledgeable local guide, the opportunity to try local food and beer, and for those that want to have a small tour group size.
Overall great experience!

Authentic and fun: those are the words describing the tour we took last week with Ondra.
I just loved the walk through the alleys around the castle area and listening to the explanations Ondra gave us. The beer tasting was awesome ( the czech beer is almost as good as the belgian one ;-) and the nice talks we had in a small restaurant serving czech appetizers were like spending a good quality time with a friend.
A refreshing experience i would definitely suggest to someone who likes unconventional interactions with locals.
Děkuji ! I’ ll be back...
Best of luck from a belgian guy.

The tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Prague, Ondra was a brilliant tour guide and very passionate about the city!
The tour itself was great, taking you through some of the popular sights as well as some quieter, more hidden places and sampling some food and drink along the way. They only do small groups which is great and it didn't feel rushed at all. Even though we ran over time, he was happy to keep going and give us the full experience
Would highly recommend the tour, just make sure you go at the start of your trip so you have time to check out their recommendations afterwards!

This was an outstanding tour. Jakub was our travel guide and he was very informative about the city of Prague. I wish we had more time to do the afternoon tour. I strongly recommend scheduling the tours when you first arrive and then it will be easier to plan the rest of the trip. Prague is a beautiful city maybe the most beautiful in the world.

Ondra was an excellent guide to learn from and take you off the generic tourist path. I learned more about Prague in our three hours than I did the previous two days. He delved into history and related it to current views all while sharing with us the tastiest brews and food. If you want to have a true Czech experience I highly recommend taking this tour.

So glad my hotel recommended One Prague Tours for a guide to the city. It is a small group guide service (usually no more than 10) that takes you not only to the most notable sites in the city but some off the beaten track areas as well. No wearing a headset, following a flag and hearing a regurgitated , unenthusiastic script from someone who is just going through the motions. Ondra, our guide, grew up in Prague and was very familiar with the city and its history. Although you won’t be entering any of the sites you visit you will get a clear layout of the city and where you might wish to return to on your own. I took The Castle Side tour on one afternoon and followed it the next morning with the Old Town Road tour. Both tours provide food and drink at a couple of local favorites. I highly recommend One Prague Tours for a personalized overview of Prague. You won’t be disappointed.

Ondra our guide, was lot of fun and delivered on all promised. He covers as much history and cultural immersion as one wants to know in balance with having a great time We avoided the crowds, as promised, while still seeing highlights such as the changing of the palace guards - from a different view point. Ondra took us to some spectacular vistas and and places we would never have seen otherwise. He was a great resource for planning the rest of our trip based on our priorities while helping us avoid tourist traps. Loved the morning beer. The tour is a good value including because the tasting is enough food for a lunch. Highly recommend!

Great small group tour with Ondra of the castle side. He gave just the right amount of interesting information, answered our questions along the way, and was able to add on a tour of the castle at the last minute which we really appreciated. We went at a perfect pace and it wasn’t formal or script driven. We walked through some very interesting spots we would not have known about on our own and stopped at a local spot for a food and beer tasting. Would have done the old town tour with them if we had more time. Great recommendation by our hotel.

The tour with Ondra was really special, interesting and very nice. We saw parts of the city we'd never have seen otherwise. We were informed very well about some details and background of the czech history or architecture and spent a very nice afternoon with a sympathetic guy. The idea to make a stop in the monastery for drinking beer and eat some very good fingerfood in a restaurant is special and genius.
Thank you for this fantastic experience.

Great tour! Lots of cool sites and recommendations for the area without feeling rushed anywhere. I had been to Prague and taken another tour of the area before and still saw new and unique things on this tour. It was great to be in a small group after seeing so many big groups with headsets in other areas of the city. Loved the food and beer samples as well. Highly recommend (early on in your trip if you can so you can enjoy the recommendations after)!
