    Iva you smashed it!
Iva was brilliant, very knowledgeable and energetic. From the start Iva made the tour interactive which made you feel involved! Iva's stories around the Prague sites were fascinating and a real eye opener. Her knowledge definitely extends beyond the usual jargon. When I next come back to Prague I'll definitely book the Castle tour and hopefully get Iva again! Great tour, Many thanks.

    Great Walking Tour
We had Iva for the Old Town Tour and she was excellent, really got us involved and made it one of the best walking tours we have been on. Great information, covered lots of detail of the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter despite their being lots of crowds for the opening of the Christmas market - would highly recommend this tour and Iva !

    Informative and Humorous
We have done quite a lot of free walking tours and this was probably the best. Chris, our tour guide, was brilliant, very dry humour and very informative. Anyone visiting Prague I would recommend they do the Old Town Free Walking Tour.

One of the best walking tours I have been on!
We had a great walking tour experience with Lana. We did the classic old town and Jewish quarter tour and it was one of the best walking tours I have ever been on - I try to go to one in almost every city I visit. We had a big group but she projected her voice well and gave such great fun facts. Lana also provided a lot of insight and context around the attitude and cultures of czech people. At the end of the tour she gave us slips of paper with common czech foods and phrases. It was so helpful and thoughtful .I highly recommend Lana!

    Exceptional experience in Prague
We did the Old Town walking tour with Iva and the Prague Castle tour with Via and we were so glad we did! Both Iva and Via were highly knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging, and the tours never felt rushed. It's so easy to feel lost in a city like Prague, and we felt like the tours helped us to understand both the city and geography better. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Prague for the first time!

    So interesting
We did 3 walking tours with Ileana and we really enjoyed all of them. The facts, entertaining stories and walks down routes we never would have found on our own were well worth the voluntary cost. Thank you, Ileana!

Prague Tour was informative & the guide was fantastic
My adult daughter and I took this tour today with Brandon. He was a terrific guide, showing us sites and giving us history and stories that kept us engaged. He also took care of his group and engaged everyone individually. We really enjoyed the tour and our wonderful Cali guide.

    Charles bridge and Castle tour
Second time in Prague, we took a tour with the same company six month ago rated 5 stars. Today with Jan it has been a bit different. Started 15 min late and finished 15 earlier, initial fight with two small groups that happened to know each other creating a bigger “not allowed” group .. then the rest was just pretty fast walking with some basic information. We feel that Jan did a standard job; we cannot say he has been entertaining or passionate. We saw Jan has very good reviews so maybe today was just not a good day. It can happen to all of us

    Tour with Tony!
Tony was knowledgeable and engaging. He answered everyone’s questions, he patiently waited for all participants before speaking at each stop, and he kindly shared his umbrella with others on the tour when there was a steady rain. Make sure you tip!

Did the Old Town Tour with Amanda in the morning. Amanda was amazing! She was so funny but also told some great personal stories about her family's history. Her comedic timing was impeccable.

Also, did the Castle tour with Michal (the grey) which was also great.

The QR code with the map locations is also a brilliant idea. We used this the whole weekend we were in Prague and all the cafe/bar/restaurant recommendations were great. I definitely recommend doing the Old Town tour in the morning and then going off to explore using the map in the afternoon.

With only two days in Prague, the Free Walking Tours were an excellent way to see the city while also learning about Prague's history and culture. I went on the Charles Bridge and Castle tour with Chris and the Old Town and Jewish Quarter tour with Amanda, and they were fantastic! Plus, at the end of each tour, the guides hand out pieces of paper with a QR code that has countless recommendations from restaurants (on budget to more expensive), pubs, and ice cream parlors to money exchange places and even water fountains! That QR code was invaluable during the rest of our trip. If you are coming to Prague and are going to site see anyway, I highly recommend doing it with Free Walking Tours!

We took our tour with Amanda. We had a very large group, but she expertly guided us around without losing anyone and at no point did we have trouble hearing her. Her stories about Prague's Old Town and Czechia were animated, fun and full of details. We learned a lot of those 2.5hrs together. At the end of the tour, Amanda present everyone with a google map she made full of restaurant, bar and sight recommendations that we continued to use frequently during our trip. It was an invaluable resource for us. Big thanks to Amanda for her excellent guiding skills and for that google map!

Had an great tour through the amazing Prague Old Town, guided by the equally amazing Chris. The city itself is a beauty to behold, with stunning architechture and incredible history, and the tour route was well chosen to show us a large portion of the city. Our guide Chris was also very knowledgeable of the city, and told us of its history with humour and excitement. In addition, we got many good tips regarding which attractions, restaurants and places to visit to get an authentic (and cheap) experience of the city, as well as good tips on which tourist traps we should avoid. All in all a very nice trip, that I would recommend anyone with two legs to try. I can also recommend going early during your stay, so you have the chance to experience all the recommended restaurants and attractions afterwards.

The tour was overall really nice and informative. The tour guides speak English really well, very friendly and they all have good knowledge about what they are talking about. The stories are very interesting and they cover all the important parts of Prague.
However it can be difficult to follow, since the streets are usually very crowded and loud. You don't really have time to take photos , so you might just listen to the stories and go back to the place later for photos.
Overall we really enjoy the experience. You can not go wrong with a free tour, where you can decide the price according to your liking at the end. Totally recommend!

We took part in 2 free walking tours of Prague together with Chris our exceptional guide. The first tour was in the morning in the Old town and the Jewish quarter while the second was about Prague Castle and Charles Bridge during the afternoon.
Both tours lasted 2.5 hours and were very interesting and full of information that made us know Prague in a more thorough way. The journey we took was not tiring, on the contrary, we made several stops at the crucial points where Chris provided us with anecdotes and curiosities that otherwise we would not have known.
In addition, Chris gave us valuable advice on restaurants and attractions to visit even outside the city center and we followed his advices, remaining more than satisfied! We definitely recommend booking both of the tours offered by the company.

We’ve just done the walking tour of the Old Town and Jewish quarter. I’d like to thank Lana for bringing to life the history of this fascinating city. As a visitor we are not always able to get beneath the surface of a place, but this tour certainly gave us a greater insight into the history of Prague. At times Lana almost brought us to tears when relating the tales of more recent 20th century events, some of which I remember unfolding on the television news just over 30 years ago. This was a wonderful tour and I’d recommend it and our guide to anyone wishing to see and understand this beautiful city.

Hi, thank you so much for such a lovely review! You've put a smile on my face. It was truly my pleasure to show you around, there are so many powerful stories hidden in the history of Prague, and nothing makes me happier than sharing them with people. I hope your trip ends up being full of wonderful memories. Until next time (hopefully on a warm and sunny day then - for a change, haha)! Warm regards, Lana

Amanda led an informative tour through Prague's Old Town. She not only has in-depth knowledge of Prague's history, but brings a personal element to the tour by including excerpts of her family's story of escaping Prague before WW2, and then subsequently returning there recently. Her delivery is humorous, and the info she provided with restaurants and other tourist attractions was really good.

We went on the Old Town walking tour with Tony and it was awesome - the guide was very knowledgeable, funny, and full of interesting facts and stories. Despite the cold, our group had a great time and I highly recommend this walking tour to get to know the history and sights of old town. Because we were a larger group, we paid a small fee per person ahead of time when reserving our spots.
