About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- BAflygirl0 contributionsUnforgettable Walking Tour of the Jewish QuarterMy son and I went on a private half day walking tour of the Jewish Quarter led by Eva from Eva Prague Tours. She met us at our hotel and kindly suggested we take a tram to the starting point as I have mobility issues. We toured the entire Jewish Quarter at a relaxed pace over 3+ hours. During the tour, Eva gave us a detailed history of each synagogue, grave yard or building we visited. She had a wealth of knowledge and her English was exceptional. We were surprised by her knowledge of Yiddish, Hebrew and the culture which was most impressive. She was easy to listen to, fun, respectful and sensitive. We were fortunate to visit all but one of the synagogues which was unexpectedly closed. The grave of the Rabbi who was said to have created the ‘Golem’ and the Old New Synagogue were spiritual highlights. We had an unforgettable private tour with a highly professional tour guide which was well worth the extra cost. Ask for Eva, she is an excellent guide and will personalize your tour with humor, respect and sensitivity. As we were leaving the Jewish Quarter, Eva called out to a man who happened to be the owner of a kosher restaurant. They chatted together, clearly friends. Later that evening, I called in a take out order to the restaurant and told him we were with Eva that day. We had a delicious meal, which paid respect to both Czech and kosher cuisine.Written 3 November 2024
- Cruiser5660230 contributionsDon't hesitate - book a tour with Eva now!I don't even know where to begin! Eva was an outstanding tour guide - I can't imagine that there's anyone better our there! We went to Terezin Former Concentration Camp on a private tour and she took us to so many different places. While we were on a Viking cruise, we had cancelled our tour through them in order to join Eva and spend as much time as we wanted at the various places we visited - and I'm so glad we did. When visiting with fellow cruisers at dinner, we discovered that they didn't have as rich an experience as we did, saying they wished they had gone with us. Eva has so much incredible knowledge and was so comfortable sharing it with us and answering all the various questions we had. A real highlight of the tour was when we visited the river where the ashes of over 20,000 who had died in the concentration camp were dumped as the war was beginning to come to an end. It was just so beautiful and peaceful, in sharp contrast to the concentration camp itself and was the perfect place to reflect and pray. The visit at the crematorium was especially sobering, but, I feel, was a real reminder (as if we needed one) of what a horrible time that was for the world. At the end of the tour, I felt that Eva was no longer just a tour guide - she had become a friend as well. My advice - don't hesitate! Booking any tour with Eva will be a blessing and an experience you will never forget!Written 4 October 2024

- Relax4664450 contributionsLike Touring With Your Warmest, Most Knowledgeable Friend!Eva was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide and we felt so lucky to be able to spend one of our two days in Prague with her! She took us to top spots in Prague, but was also flexible and knowledgable. She got to know us quickly so that she could best take us to places she felt would interest us most. She was warm, welcoming, wise, and was able to offer fantastic insight on both historical sites, but also the culture of Prague's wonderful people. Eva made us feel like we were out exploring with a friend we'd known all our lives, and we would definitely want to contact her again if we return! Thank you, Eva, for giving us a special, magical, and memorable tour of your beautiful city!Written 18 July 2024

- PesiU0 contributionsA must do tour for an introduction to PragueEva, our guide on this tour was wonderful. With limited time in Prague, she guided us to the best locations. We had lunch at a scenic location (could not have found it on our own). For a first time visit to Prague with limited time, we would highly recommend this tour. The driver was very professional and the car was clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great tour.Written 18 June 2024
- M9351ZWalanf0 contributionsEnthusiasm and Knowledge A Winning CombinationEva guided my son and mother in law 9 years ago. It was a memorable experience for them. So it was a no brainer to see if Eva might be available for a highly sentimental tour of the Jewish Quarter of Prague. Eva was lively, articulate, interesting, informative and personable. Like any good guide she clearly loves her native city and has a gift for story telling.Written 31 May 2024

- DocMooTravels0 contributionsTerezin concentration camp complex - bear witness. If you're visiting Prague then my advice is to take a day and go to bear witness to the horrors and resilience of humanity at the Terezin concentration camp complex. I hired a car in Prague as I didn't want to be tied to a tour. I wanted to take my time at each of the various sites. The site itself is very large and be prepared to walk a fair bit. I won't say much about the complex itself. You can read about it and I suggest that you do read the history of the complex and the atrocities committed there prior to visiting. It's an emotional experience but I feel an extremely important one. Especially in a period when far-right ideologies are on the rise again. Go. Think. Reflect. I won't say enjoy as that's not the right word. Experience. Bear witness.Written 8 July 2023
- z0rijanam0 contributionsA Day in Kutna Hora with Eva and her driverEva was an amazing tour guide. Excellent English, knowledge of history and a very interesting tour. She was also very flexible when shopping or stops were requested. Recommended her to Staci in Cruise Planners who booked the tour. Prague was the highlight of our cruise down the Danube and Eva made it very special. Her driver was also professional and really nice. Eva also picked a restaurant (Four Sisters) which served local food and very good. All in all an awesome experience.Written 23 June 2023

Eva was a wonderful tour guide and went out of her way to help us plan the excursions to the Underground and the Pilsner Urquell tours. In fact, she helped me plan another excursion the next day even though it was not her responsibility to do so!
