About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- DanaH4530 contributionsThere is room for improvement! The entertainment was good, we wished they had flags from more countries ( South Africa, Macedonia, Romania). The food wasn’t high end and not warm. I requested the company to provide the menu at the time of booking, and I was told that everybody will have the same meal. To my surprise I noticed some tourists had fish and others had poultry. Very disappointing! You cannot treat tourists differently during the same dinner-show ! We paid almost $75/ person and other people from our table paid $60/person. It is true that they reserved with a different company, but it is a big difference and leaves a bad taste when there are such big differences. The driver who took us and returned us to the hotel didn’t know English, but he managed to drop everybody at their hotel.Written 5 January 2025
- Destination4967690 contributionsExcellent tour.Excellent. Guides were knowledgeable friendly just excellent. The prison and camp were very well presented and really very interesting. Recommend this trip.Written 28 December 2024
- 7fumia0 contributionsWe truly enjoyed the tourHotel pick-up/drop-off was very convenient. Our guide Marina was very informative and always looking after us to make sure we are enjoy the tour. The tour itself was worthy of going. There s no way that we could see and learn about the city and its history on our own. Great value for what you can experience. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you.Written 28 December 2024
- D B0 contributionsA must see excursionWe had an excellent guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the sights we visited. It was a comfortable walking pace. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel.Written 16 December 2024
- JoEastMidlands0 contributionsA very enjoyable eveningA great evening with fantastic food, fantastic song and dance and we were sat at a table with other guests (who we didn’t know at first) who were lovely company and a great night was had. 3 courses all very well cooked and prepared and plenty of it (soup, chicken, beef and ham and potatoes and strudel) with water, soft drinks, wine or beer - couldn’t fault it. The singers, musicians and dancers were very, very good and people were invited to join in (only if you wanted to). My only slight disappointment was the fact I didn’t learn any folklore. So many nationalities in the room it would be impossible to interpret for all and although the songs were beautiful, we didn’t know what they were singing about. But we would still definitely recommend and do feel it was value for money.Written 12 December 2024
- LINDA W0 contributionsCruising the VltanaFood was tasty but very basic, would have liked something a little more substantial- more like a sinner menu, musical entertainment was excellent, not much to see on the river at nightWritten 8 December 2024
- frwaggoner0 contributionsGreat experienceWe had a very good time. The food was delicious and lots of it. The entertainment was excellent and the staff took very good care of us. The taxi they sent to pick us up was right on time and was waiting for us when the dinner was over.Written 26 November 2024
- taragaluska0 contributionsVery moving and educational tour. This was a very moving and informational tour. I’m glad I took my 12 and 20 year old daughters. Every person should be enlightened on the terrors and tragedies of war and genocide.Written 18 November 2024
- Lanieburd0 contributionsVery informative and an excellent guideWe took this amazing tour from Prague. Our guide on the trip and the guide in Terezín were definitely history savvy.. learned a great deal from both and all in our party enjoyed the tour.Written 23 October 2024
- David and Poppy W0 contributionsNot worthwhile if already visited Prague Old Town. The tour was technically good, the guide was knowledgeable, but we were unhappy due to lots of walking in the rain with no lunch break. When we enquired with the guide about a break for lunch we were told by the guide "you should have had a good breakfast". There was a break very late in the tour (4pm), however the guide's meeting point at the Italian cafe had terrible coffee which we did not drink. If you have already had a guided tour of the Old Town in Prague, there is nothing new to see at Kutna Hora, so it is a wasted trip honestly.Written 22 October 2024
- paul-ortleybeach0 contributionsA must visit to learn from historians about this sad part of human history.Outstanding tour with an incredibly well educated guide who studied history in detail. Tour includes visits and entry to all parts of the trip. Be ready for your emotions to be stirred by the history. A must experience to learn this history - as dreadful as it was for the Jewish people at that time. A real eye opener to how nasty and hateful Hitler and the Nazis really were. Very comfortable luxury minibus with free WiFi on board. Excellent driver. We were lucky to have a small group if only 6.Written 15 October 2024
- 412shantanug0 contributionsKutna Hora van tripThe guide was not sympathetic to the tourists who had issues with mobility. He simply ran away , so the people who are slow fail to catch up and they simply disappear. minimum courtesy would be to wait in front of the entrance to the cathedral and count the heads . `it would be just a matter of few minutes. Very insensitive .Written 3 October 2024
- SamL38310 contributionsAmazing tour of a unique part of CzechiaHopefully I'm reviewing the right tour, we really enjoyed our tour with the guide Vera. She was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the area, as well as the architecture and art in the cathedrals. She was fluent in both English and German (and Czech) that we saw and likely spoke several other languages. Our driver was not overly friendly, but was a very competent driver and gave us pick up and drop off from our hotel. The tour ran smoothly, our guide balanced giving us detail with keeping the tour on track and to time. If you're interested in the history and seeing the beautiful cathedrals and ossuary I think it's well worth your time. If you're more interested in shopping and eating, or can't handle people speaking in a different language, look elsewhere.Written 16 September 2024
- henorif0 contributionsNice, but a bit disappointingThe place is beautiful, but we felt that the price was too high compared to what we got... The guide was nice, but we got 3.5 hours of free time (the pool was just a regular pool, not a warm one), so he told us that it's not that nice. We felt like we needed to hear more about the place and take a full tour together with maybe 2 hours of free time.Written 14 September 2024
- katrinaj9750 contributionsGet ready to eat, drink and dance! We were picked up right on time and arrived to a fabulous traditional atmosphere. The show was such fun, and teaching people to get up and dance was even more fun. The food was cooked to perfection and there was plenty. Serving tables at a time, allowing all to fill their own plate works brilliantly. The drinks were definitely unlimited and the serving staff were going past every couple of minutes. We loved the music. This is a truly fun night out and I would do it again!Written 14 September 2024

After a delay of 20 minutes waiting for a group of 11 the tour bus set off - thankfully with A/C but after an hour broke down at the service station due to a flat battery. The driver then went to buy some jump leads and after a further 30 minutes we set off again. The tour guide knew his stuff and was patient with the noisy 5 young children who were part of the group of 11. When we arrived the guide and the rest of the group were hassled by the group of 11 wanting the departure time to be delayed by an hour and a half due to the hold ups (to which they’d contributed)
George the guide contacted the tour company and an extension of 45 mins was agreed.
Cesky Krumlov was of course packed with tourists - it is an interesting place to visit but perhaps out of season when people aren’t packed like sardines in the streets and numerous souvenir shops. I also thought on our arrival after a 2 and a half hour journey a drink/ restaurant time would have been better first before trooping us from the bus for a half hour walk up the streets to look round the tower at the castle. It meant by the time we went down to get a drink and something to eat we didn’t have time to go back up to the gardens at the back of the castle.
We had no complaints about the tour guide who I think was rightly aggrieved by the attitude of some of his group and by the end had given up caring.

The guide was very good and bus very comfortable. I think the information about the trip, including selections, needs to be clearer. For example:
-Selection of castle museum tour was not clear especially when it says “all inclusive”
-Hotel pick up option was not clear. When I enquired of the tour provider they told me I would need to cancel and rebook to take that option.
- While it did not affect us, others on the trip thought lunch was included.
There was a man on our trip who was very immobile and had not realised there was so much walking and steps involved. He required assistance throughout which was offered by all the participants but it slowed our tour down and reduced our free time.
The travel time if more than 2 hours each way should also be explicit.

On the way to Cesky Krumlov, we were provided with tons of information. It was a lovely way of hearing about all of the history and current events. Once we arrived in Cesky Krumlov we were given a fabulous of both the castle and the town. And the lunch was an added bonus. So fun. Both the adults and the 10 and 12-year old enjoyed it!

Prague bus tours worst I have seen in over 50 years in the travel industry. Cancelled my tour of 27 September because they were full. ( I had booked it many months ago).
Had to rebook without hotel pickup because I booked at the last minute. I had to take a taxi on 29 September to train station; it was cold and I was not allowed to wait in the pickup van with plenty of room. Guide was rude and not friendly; refused to help me find a taxi at the end of the tour and would not leave me at convenient point for my hotel. I should get a 50% refund due to terrible service.

Bad communication. Company did not contact us to provide a pick up time at the hotel. I was the one who had to send a message through the app, which is not practical and I didn't get a response in time. Due to lack of communication, I missed the tour and was left waiting at the announcement time.

The trip was absolutely horrible. We were 4 middle aged us travelers and were ready to exit the tour after 15 minutes. The tiny bus was cramped. Too many people for the bus. The tour guide on the bus, tried to narrate for 2 hours between English & Spanish but it was so broken that you could barely understand anything she provided. Once we arrived at the destination, castle was closed, very small
Town and not much to do for 4 hours. Bus arrived late, and the bus driver was smoking pot outside the bus. Furthermore, the bus did not use the bus stop off: pick up rather a random school parking lot. I assume they do not have permit or did not want to pay the fee for parking. Our tour had 14 people on it and more than 1/2 were equally unhappy.

During our walking tour to Cesky Krumlov, we stopped at a quaint resturant called U Dwau Maryi ( Tavern of two Maries)for lunch. The menu had a wide selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. We had the Rabbit and the Trout which was very delicious to say the least.
The lunch is not a part of the tour, you have to pay for it but you will enjoy the entire experience.

We booked a full day tour with Prague Bus Tour company and were thoroughly satisfied with the service. The driver didn't speak English but was friendly, competent and safety minded. Our three-hour trip each way was comfortable in a well kept and clean bus. The tour guide spoke perfect English, amongst other languages, and provided interesting historical facts on Prague and Cesny Krumlov. When in Prague I recommend the Prague Bus Tours and a trip to Cesny Krumlov, an amazing city is a must see destination.

Amazing place to visit, really enjoyed walking around the beautiful town. Our guide was very enthusiastic and took good care of us, the only down side was that he was difficult to understand especially on the bus as this was very noisy.
The bus itself was the only disappointment. It was not comfortable for the passengers seated in the single seats, particularly the taller guests as there was very little leg room. The promised WiFi never happened despite being given the code .

Written 24 July 2018
Bonjour.
