- elainem4800 contributionsFab Walking Tour - Well Worth The MoneyOur tour guide was Ross. He was fab, very informative, he told us a vast amount of the history about Prague. The traditional lunch was very good too. The river cruise was a little extra thing which I'd forgotten about, we also got tea & gingerbread on our cruise. This tour filled our day and we saw some parts of Prague which we probably wouldn't have found ourselves. I would certainly recommend this walking tour & was well worth the money.Written 20 March 2025
- jayonb20250 contributionsGreat price, for a great time!I had the pleasure of being guided through Prague by the lovely Jana! Full of information, ready to answer questions, and absolutely a sweet and caring person. This tour was well worth the price and it touches on some really cool and important places in Prague without getting you bogged down by the other tourists that are around. The use of audio technology was a nice surprise and extremely helpful to someone like me that has a hard time hearing. I was able to listen to hear Jana the entire time with no issues. Lunch was at a very nice place and tasted great! Dark beer drinkers you will be pleased! At no point of the tour did it feel rushed and we got through so much. The cost was very fair for how much was included and for all that we covered within a day. So thank you so much Jana for a fun and informative day! When I come back I will specifically ask for your tours!Written 18 March 2025

- Andrew S0 contributionsInteresting and enjoyableJANA was our guide for this tour and she was very pleasant and chatty and very knowledgeable about the history of Prague. It was a lovely day so made the walkabout more enjoyable. We then had a lovely authentic Czech lunch followed by a 45 minute boat trip which was a great end to a very nice tour. Highly recommend and 10/10 for JANAWritten 5 March 2025
- Liverpool17sandy0 contributionsAmazing walking tourJana was super, she had so much knowledge about the town it was incredible to hear all the history of Prague. Jana was very patient with our group and made sure we were all together. We got to see so much of the old town and new town. Would highly recommend this tour as it covered everything. Thank you so much JanaWritten 1 March 2025
- iandW6040PQ0 contributionsDisappointing expectationsA concert classical expectation is the musician will perform in front of the audience for the appreciation of their talents on instruments and of what the kind of music they play. To not see them perform in person just hearing a musical behind is like listening to a gadget very disappointing. Please inform people about what to expect It is supposed to be a one of a kind experience for our anniversary and the same time a Birthday 😔celebration very sad 😢 The music is all great but experience disappointed.Written 28 February 2025
- HeatherBee5210 contributionsGreat overview! This tour was most of the day and provided a nice overview of lesser town and old city. Our guide Hannah was extremely knowledgeable and well informed and happy to answer any questions! We learned a lot of history and the traditional lunch midday was a welcome break to visit with our small group and get off our feet for a bit. If you like knowing some history of the areas you are walking through I highly recommend.Written 25 February 2025

- F1959IPcharlotteb0 contributionsWalking tour Prague with HanaHana was an excellent and attentive tour guide. Explained the history brilliantly and the art history. Was a beautiful very very cold day but sunny. Wear sensible shoes for walking and hat scarf and gloves and warm coat. Traditional lunch lovely and boat trip was very enjoyable as was the mulled wine. Trip includes entry to museum which we went back to next day as we were shattered! Approx 6 hours in total well worth the money saw all we wanted to see. Astronomical clock was amazing as was the history of the square thank you Hana we will cherish our amazing day with you.Written 21 February 2025

- 467nataliad0 contributionsMore accountabilityI am resubmitting my review because trip advisor asked me, seems to me like it’s an attempt to get rid of a bad review. My guide was Paria The tour stared with Paria telling us that she was Jew, it was Sabbath and her employer made her work, it was her rest day and yet she was “forced” to be there. Learned a little about the bridge (10-15min), went to the castle heard some facts (10-15min), walked through the squares, stoped for a hot drink and that was that. Disappointed we didn’t see more of the castle, or much of anything around it. In between we did learn about Patia’s single life. After the castle she took us to the Jew quarters, everything was closed and a lot of the comments seemed to be coming from a hurt woman. Her feelings on history more than the history. We went to a restaurant where the beer was small and the food was the worst I had in Prague. After eating Paria took us to the Astronomical clock where she made very negative comments about how dumb it was, and how the best part was watching the “fools” who waste their time watching the clock. We went back to the boat part and were offered tickets for another day or to go on the boat tour, didn’t seem like a part of the tour. That was the end with our tour guide Paria. The boat ride was a 35min loop around the bridge, it doesn’t go anywhere, it’s boring. The best part of the whole thing was the mulled wine in the boat. The tour ended with Patia telling us that she is quitting her job and had some not nice words about the company (TripAdvisor asked me to remove the tour guides words). Looking at the itinerary seems like we missed a lot. How do I get my money back?Written 3 February 2025

Took my friend for her birthday as it sounded fun. The wine was very watered down and guests opposite us said the beer was better. We ordered a vegetarian option and poultry on booking the tickets but the appetiser was a mix of cold meat cuts so the dietary options were not the same as advertised/ordered. It was very dark (in fitting with the theme) so it was hard to see what was on the plates and what was what (and whether fitting dietary requirements). The food was average and could have been done better with the same ingredients. It was obvious it was mass catering lacking finesse. So you pay for the entertainment really. Some of the performers were great and some looked like they hated being there. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great for the cost overall. Some of the other guests were obnoxiously drunk and it was not an act. However we did meet some nice people on our table. There was not a lot of space to be sat close to strangers and we are not large people so larger people might struggle with that. It was OK, 5/10. Probably more suited to stag or hen do's than what thought was on offer.

All in all an okay experience. All the shows were fun - but the staff were clearly stressed, we got in 30 minutes late and barely managed to swallow the dessert before the tables had to be cleared and ready for the next show.
In addition, in my opinion, we were "scammed" for 200 Danish kroner/600 Czech kroner. There were magicians, belly dancers, etc running around and suddenly a man came with a bunch of roses.
He gives my girlfriend one and then asks for money. When trying to give it back, my girlfriend is asked to go along and pay anyway.
We have paid 400 kroner per man/1100 Czech kroner for the experience, so a disappointment to be charged so much money for 3 roses in that way in a restaurant.
In addition, a photographer walks around taking pictures and making magnets - but also demands 10 euros for a magnet with a picture.
Can definitely be recommended for the sake of coziness and the experience/show.
But the food and the greedy behavior/hustle and bustle were not great.

So this is THE evening, for a few hours we were immersed in another era!
The medieval decoration, the large wooden tables, candle lighting...all on the ground floor.
The 5-course menu (you have to choose and above all book beforehand) with unlimited beers (in mugs) doesn't break the bank because it's simple but it's plentiful.
And the atmosphere, what can I say: magical!
The Celtic musicians who send up, the fire eaters, the dancers it's crazy, we end up dancing on the tables!

My wife and I visited this ‘experience’ while on a city break to Prague. It was excruciatingly bad.
Several couples pushed into tables together- overcrowded and unpleasant- those around us looked as unhappy as we were.
The ‘5 course meal’ was mostly inedible and was flung at us by inattentive rude staff. The room was too dark to see what you were eating- the chicken and pork dishes were mostly fat and bones.
The medieval entertainment consisted of people running up and down between tables, playing bagpipes, having sword fights and dancing - the room was too crowded to see any more than a few seconds of each ‘act’ - at one point, one man dressed up as a pantomime horse but just stood about looking embarrassed.
10 minutes of ‘entertainment’ stretched over 2 1/2 hours is not worth the £120 we paid.
Avoid this evening like the plague (come to think of it, catching the plague would have been a more enjoyable medieval experience than this awful night).

This looked really good and the reviews were positive, however we were bitterly disappointed with the evening. We experienced 5 courses of poor food and the entertainment can be best described as slapstick. When were there pirates in the medieval times?
The belly dancers were reasonable and the dancers did a good job in the limited space but honestly, I really wish we hadn’t bothered.
Best advice is use the money to buy a great meal with drinks in a good restaurant instead.

Great show! There were performances during the meal and they tried to get the audience involved. The food wasn't quite to my taste, but there was more than enough - no one will starve - all in all, it was OK. Definitely worth a visit, I'm happy to pay this price for the atmosphere and the shows. Drinks are also included in the price and you're served regularly. So I can only recommend this experience when visiting Prague!

They really don't care about your experience they just squeeze you in as tight as they can. We were traveling from Iceland as a staff party for only 2 days and this was our main event. I had sent them an email about it previously.
We were squeezed in a group of 7 on a table with another group. The seating we got could accommodate max 5 so it was so tight it wasn't possible to sit there. When the food started, I noticed a table for 8 available next to us, and we got moved. If we wouldn't get that table, we probably would have just walked out because there wasn't a possibility to sit and eat so tight. And to top it we were seated with a group of 5 guys intoxicated that were just screaming all the time. There were 4-5 tables free all night around us, so why they decide to squeeze people like that and ruin their experiences just blows my mind. I understand they try to sell more tables, then sell the "squeeze spots" last and dont squeeze people like that and have free tables.
The beer probably has less than 2%. I drank so many, and nothing happened. The food was fine, but the pork really needed salt. It was neither better or worse than expected in a place like that.
The show, so if you are seated in the first dining room, you will get a great show if you will be seated in the second one like most people you get a glimpse of a show.
A last-minute decision to go, probably ok. But definitely don't go to celebrate some special occasion or group activity. The seating you will get makes it 50/50 if you will have 1 star experience or 5 star experience. So I wouldn't risk it in that case. Our experience would have been way better in the 1st dining room.

Went here as my daughter wanted to go, I was not really looking forward to it but in fact really enjoyed it.
We were booked in for 8.00 pm (arrive 7.45 pm) and we actually got there at 7.30 pm to find the queue was all down the corridor and out on to the roadway which panicked us a bit but when the door opened it moved very quickly and you are separated into smaller rooms, our had 8 tables for 6 people each.
It is very well timed so that the entertainment and food service don't collide meaning that you don't miss what's going on whilst trying to eat.
Food was OK, about normal for these type of events and lots of it, drink was good and supplied quite regularly taking in to account the number of people.
Entertainment was brilliant, dancers mixed in with sword fighting and magic shows.
the only bad think was the heat, it could do with some ceiling fans but this may not be possible with the fire dancers.
Overall a very good night out

Really great experience - While not authentic medieval the atmosphere was well worth it. Considering what you might pay for a main meal anyway in Prague it was exceptional value for money.
Food was decent with the main Pork dish me and my partner had being huge and very succulent as our 4th course. Not many were able to finish it so most left full. The earlier courses were good too, particularly liked the veggie soup and bread. The dessert was the weakest course which we referred to as the "Apple Brick" and was not served on a plate which felt rushed. Would suggest they rethink this aspect of the evening.
Overall the event seemed to be a well oiled machine and I would highly recommend it.
Other minor gripe was the wine tasted watered down and the server did not come to our table frequently enough.

We had so much fun! The basement restaurant with all the candles was amazing and the food and performances were epic! I would honestly have paid to have a CD of the drums and pipes and the dancers and acrobats were so skilled, especially given the space! We were sat opposite a family with a small child and the way the performers included her was just lovely. The ambiance was great, and even the stag dos chanting and singing on the other side strangely just added to the medieval tavern atmosphere so we didn’t mind it. There was so much food so I would advise against eating all the lovely bread at the start if you want to make it to the cake at the end(our mistake)!

Hello all
As I am going on a graduation trip with my class next week, I would like to reserve different 5-course menus for 18 adults. Is this possible? I'm afraid if I put everyone everywhere else we won't be put together as a class.

Hey,
Me and another 4 friend would like to know what types of meat there are to choose from, one of our friend is allergic to fish and can’t eat pork, is there a beef/ chicken option available?
Written 29 May 2023
They have vegetarian, poultry or pork. Poultry was duck and chicken, I hope you enjoy.
Written 12 June 2023
Yes, they did accommodate gluten free. However, the gluten free option for the main dish was not great. What we did was order the chicken and then when we arrived we asked for the gluten free app & dessert to go with it.

I would like to book for 3 people on 12/01/2023 but one of the guests is Vegetarian. How do I go about booking this? Thank you
Written 13 November 2022
We were a group of 6 and I booked it all online. Yes there is a vegetarian option and a fish option, however, online it would have been 2 separate bookings, as half of us wanted the chicken and the other half of the group wanted the pork option. So we all decided to book the chicken option as didn’t want to risk not being seated together. We were not asked on the night for our food options. Hope this helps. Maybe you would be better ringing the venue!!
