After pickup from your central Prague hotel, board an air-conditioned minivan and journey north to the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland National Parks—two reserves divided by the Czech-German border. Bring a coat and sturdy shoes as there is a good amount of walking involved.
Venture into Germany’s Saxon Switzerland and visit Bastei, a cluster of sandstone pinnacles linked by a stone bridge high above the River Elbe. Walk on the bridge for bird’s-eye views over the Elbe valley before driving to the Pravcicka Gate in Bohemian Switzerland, situated on the Czech side of the border.
Hike to the gate, Europe’s biggest natural rock arch, and admire its scale before continuing to Kamenice Gorge. Here, enjoy a boat trip through a narrow canyon, passing steep cliffs and wildlife-filled forests.
Finally, return to Prague, stopping at the pretty town of Hrensko en route, before your tour ends at your hotel.
