What to expect
After morning pickup in central Prague, relax in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach and admire South Bohemia’s countryside as you journey to Cesky Krumlov. On arrival in this UNESCO-protected town, head for its showpiece: 13th-century Cesky Krumlov Castle. On a rocky outcrop carved by the Vltava river, this picture-book fortress commands sweeping views of the old, red-roofed town below. Explore the rich interiors (April-October) as your guide charts the castle's history, or enjoy an included lunch in the town in winter (November-March). Take a guided stroll in the old town and enjoy the opportunity to view Church of St. Vitus, another of Cesky’s landmarks and home to a stunning baroque altar. Finally, use your ample free time to delve into the town as you wish: perhaps people-watching from a sidewalk cafe and shopping for souvenirs. Your trip ends with a drop-off in central Prague.

A wonderful history lesson!
Sarah provided an excellent tour from the moment we left Prague until our return 10 hours later. Cesky Krumlov is a unique and interesting place to see, and a shoppers paradise. Charles, our driver, was an excellent traffic manager too!

Beautiful Medieval Town
Oct. 2019
We went to this town in a small bus for a day trip, it's well worth it. We had enough free time to walk around the town on our own and took many beautiful pictures. We went inside of the castle too with a local tour guide, that took 1 hour. Great excursion from Prague.

Beautiful town!!!
Oct. 2019 • Friends
This town is so beautiful really worth going out of your way to visit it. Taking this tour was good for the bus ride there. To avoid the hassle trying to go by public transportation or if you don’t have a car. Our guide was good the cracked a few jokes here and there. On the ride there the guide was pointing/ describing out multiple historical facts and buildings. You get to have a semi private tour of the Castel with the group, that is pretty interesting. It’s approximately 1h. However the down side for us was that it was mention a 45 minute city tour.. there wasn’t much of a tour. It was the walk from the bus to the important meeting points. A little information on a couple of statues, the location of ancient toilets, a jewelry store (that they collaborate with) and the restaurant he had made reservations at for lunch for whoever wanted to join him. Then you had about 2,5 hours of free time. We thought that he would take us quickly through the town but it wasn’t that. So you do it on your own it’s not very big but it gets confusing. Sometimes we would be turning around in circles.
But it was worth it to avoid the hassle and see this beautiful fairytale town. That we completely loved.

a beautiful place
Aug. 2019
We took the day trip from Prague by bus there. The 2 hour ride had my head swiveling the whole time. The views on the way were just beautiful. A fairytale of small towns. The guide was extra helpful as my wife had a little trouble with the walks and stairs. At one point he sat with her talking so I could go to a hard to go point. The castle and town were just so beautiful ( to much to describe). Well worth the price and time.

The castle was beautiful.

Our tour guide was grumpy. In addition, he spoke two different languages which was very annoying. The castle was very beautiful.

Fantastic day trip experience
I went on a day trip to Cesky krumlov with Prem1ant, the weather wasn't so great for a day trip, was a bit wet and cold that wasn’t good start for the day. However, the tour guide who was looking after 14 tourists, was exceptionally superb, with multi-lingual skills and good knowledge of history, Most of all, he played Ukullelle and sang for us :) which was really nice :)
Despite of the bad weather, the medieval old town itself is so pretty with nice atmosphere. It is one of the “must visit places”
Thanks again to the guide Vojta and driver Tony who drove safely to the hotel.

Bus needs new shock exorbers badly.
Guide was good but has been on that job way to long. He was curt with any one with any minor problems. He did not show any emotion while telling the history that was almost like a boring recording for half of the trip to Cesky.

Yes to Cesky Krumlov, no to this tour

Bus trip for an hour around Prague before heading out was totally unnecessary. Commentary on the way out was okay. We made a strange pit stop at a service station for 15 minutes, not sure why. Air conditioning on the bus was sub-Arctic, most passengers complained. When we got there, focus was on not getting lost. Forgot to mention the commentary was in English but also Russian and in some cases German as they packed a few more languages in to fill up the tour. So we had to listen to everything twice, once in English.

As is typical of dodgy tours there was the “recommended” crystal shop with a special discount as well as the recommended restaurant which the tour guide didn’t even attend. He just dropped half the tour off and left. Castle tour was okay but guide was a bit bored and when kept running into the back of another tour. Trip back had no air conditioning. Forgettable.

How to spend an interesting weekend
Aug. 2019
I was having a wonderful trip, the group was not big, the guide was very educated and was able to spike on a few languages. Town is very beautiful and the people are very friendly. I done a lot of photos and, actually, was feeling sorry to leave this town.
