- potatokate1390 contributionsUltimate Day Out: Paddle, Snorkel, and Sustainable Fun with WAM!Just had the BEST day tour with Nic! 🌞 From stand up paddleboarding on a tranquil reservoir (we had it all to ourselves!) to a delicious breakfast with almost 100% local goodies, then more SUP on the bay with some snorkelling thrown in for good measure. Nic's knowledge and personable vibe made the trip unforgettable. Bonus: Certified B Corp company! 👏🏄♂️🐠 #PerfectDay #SUPParadise #LocalEats #HighlyRecommendWritten 6 December 2023
- symeranm0 contributionsCoastal Walk and Hot SpringsWe recently went on our first WAM Adventure tour with Nic and we had the best time! Nic really went out of his way to give us the best experience on our tour. I loved his van, very cosy with plants and a diffuser, made the travelling around very enjoyable. We went on a beautiful hike to the beach, not too busy and Nic was very informative along the hike. We then stopped to have lunch at a secluded spot and a gorgeous view of the sea to look out for humpbacks. Lunch was delicious and all from a local farm, was very filling. We then ended our day with a much needed hot spring. These were so relaxing and there were so much choice! We loved Nic's passion for the environment and it really shined throughout the tour which inspired us to do more. Thank you very much for a lovely day Nic, can't wait to book the next one. - A5505OVnicoleb0 contributionsAdventure PicnicWe were looking for something a bit different to do on a girls' weekend away, and came across the WAM Adventure Picnic. We had a fabulous time hiking along trails on the Mornington Peninsula with stunning views, even sighting a kangaroo along our way. The secret picnic spot was lovely and secluded, and we never would have stumbled across it otherwise. Thanks Nic and WAM for a great day.Written 3 May 2023
- djb_b10 contributionsMornington Peninsula Retreat plus so much more!!I recently went on a Mornington Peninsula trip which was co-hosted by WAM. Nic was our guide for the entire weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for Nic. He was able to share lots of local knowledge and was able to take us to some spectacular spots over the weekend to paddle. We had great conditions for the majority of the weekend. The host and Nic were fully prepared for any conditions and had many options available to us when/if conditions changed. It was clear that making sure our group had the best trip was their top priority. You can tell that Nic is very passionate about what he does. WAM truly make extra effort to be sustainable and environmentally friendly. It was great to experience Mornington with a guide that had so much knowledge of the area. We were able to support local businesses, enjoy the produce from a local farm, enjoy wine tasting and enjoy experiences as a solo group because some of the places we went too are only known by locals. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend WAM to my friends and family. If you are looking for an amazing adventure with like-minded people, get in touch with WAM.Written 12 April 2023
- azubarev20210 contributionsBest Mornington Peninsula TourWe had to book a personal tour on very short notice. Communication was great and the tour far exceeded our expectations. Although it was still cool outside, the water at Dromana beach was warm enough to try paddle and the kids enjoyed it very much. Also, it was probably the best time to visit hot springs in Mornington, rather than go there when it is hot outside. Finally, we enjoyed a meal in a local restaurant/winery. So overall 5/5 experience.Written 13 December 2021
- Lilly-14-140 contributionsAwesome local tourism operatorWhat an awesome day experiencing the Peninsula on the Paddle, Pinot & Pools tour. I loved that it offered the opportunity to experience a range of activities from SUP boarding, lovely lunch at a local Winery, hike through Bushrangers Bay followed by a relaxing time at the Hot Springs. Nic (Coops) was an amazing host and extremely accomodating and helpful ensuring that we had a fantastic time whilst maintaining his ethos of organic, sustainable and supporting other local like minded businesses. I look forward to experiencing other adventures through WAM in the future. Well done Nic for creating an awesome business.Written 27 November 2021
- Dan_Cutt0 contributionsGreat adventure and a fun day outI did the Wonga Biking Trails to Ales self guided mountain bike tour with a group of mates on the weekend and we all absolutely loved it. Starting at the McCrae lighthouse we met Nic from WAM where we picked up our bikes, we headed along the waterfront, a nice ride with great views of the bay. The uplift on the Arthur’s seat Eagle was a real highlight of the trip with great views along the Mornington Peninsula and over Port Phillip Bay. From the top of Arthur's Seat we headed down the mountain bike trails which were a heap of fun through some stunning native forest. We finished up at Jetty Road Brewery in the Dromana industrial estate with a delicious tasting paddle. I’d highly recommend this trip to anyone after a great day out on the Mornington Peninsula!Written 27 June 2021
- james_fromsh0 contributionsRelaxed, laid-back, environmentally focussed Mornington Peninsula group-trippingVery relaxing, low-intensity day out with Nic (Coops) and a small group of like-minded day-trippers. You're in comfortable hands with Nic - he's been doing this for years and while WAM might be relatively new as of 2021, you would never know - he's crafted his Mornington Peninsula itinerary to almost perfection and it'll only get better from here. Nic's mixed in some of the best things to do and see down on the peninsula, including a SUP lesson, very tasty lunch, nice hike, and of course the hot springs too. A sidenote, if you're conscious of sustainability and the environment when it comes to travelling, WAM is perfect for you too.Written 7 March 2021
- GuyWRoberts0 contributionsIncredible day of adventure and relazingWhat an amazing day of adventure on the Mornington Peninsula! My wife and I have been on many, many tours and we both agreed that this was our favourite. It wasn't just the incredible itinerary, but learning a little bit about the history of the area, the eco day packs and the A Grade tour guide, 'Coops', made it such a great day out. We started by meeting Coops in Melbourne where he poured us a coffee and native tea, then got into his clean and spacious van that had pillows. The first stop was at Mount Martha where the conditions couldn't have been better and we went Stand-up Paddle Boarding. Neither my wife or I had been SUPing before, but Coops took the time to teach us some techniques and we paddled around the stunning sites without an issue. After getting out of the water, we then went to a really beautiful winery and had a picnic on the grass and indulged in a gourmet lunch, then we walked off what we had eaten on a relaxing day hike to Bushrangers Bay. The final treat for the day couldn't have been better - a session at the Peninsula Hot Springs. Thanks so much to Coops. You offer a first class tour with an itinerary like no other tours operating out of Melbourne. We couldn't speak more highly of this tour and will be booking another one for sure!Written 2 March 2021
- Tessjene930 contributionsAMAZINGHad the best day on the WAM tour! The tour guide Nic was extremely professional, gave us plenty of tips on Stand up paddle boarding and made sure we were all having a ball! The picnic at the winery was delicious and the views were incredible. Can’t wait to go on another WAM tour ASAP!Written 19 December 2020
- Eledublin0 contributionsPerfectI have done my share of organised day trips and this has been by far the most enjoyable of them all. An incredible mix of nature, a bit of exercise (or attempt to-more on this below-), some excellent food, WINE and a bunch of dolphins for good measure. But the best part of the day was having Nic as a guide. He's the funniest guy alive but don't let his self-deprecating sense of humour deceive you: his knowledge of everything involving Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula at times got lost muffled by the sound of my laughter🤣 (and my wife's, especially when I fell off the paddle board...several times). A great day out, a fabulous tour, a spectacular area and the best guide you can ask for. A absolute must do in Victoria and Oz for that matter. Thanks again for a great day Nic, we will come backWritten 18 October 2020
- KaylaP30470 contributionsSunrise Wildlife Adventure TourWas lucky enough to squeeze this amazing, jam packed adventure tour in right before the Melbourne lockdown hit. Being a born and bred kiwi, it was a fantastic opportunity to explore the wilderness of Melbourne whilst meeting a great bunch of people. I went with the Sunrise Wildlife Adventure Tour which started off with mountain biking through the woods, wombat spotting, sightings of kangaroos, followed by an amazing float down the river on the SUPs, then finishing with a brunch in the sun at a lovely vegan café! But that’s not all, the tour guide was full of knowledge and provided us with insightful information of the area and surrounding areas along the way. He knew all the best viewing spots to soak in the views of Melbourne (perfect for photo ops!). I also absolutely LOVE that the whole tour is eco-friendly! Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to get out of Melbourne for an adventure and keen for a laugh with a bunch of like-minded people!Written 13 October 2020
- whataworldwelivein0 contributionsActive, adventure & Aussie animalsAbsolutely loved this tour. Got some active adventure in whilst seeing loads of wildlife close to Melbourne. I didn’t have much time in Melbourne, so just wanted to do a half day tour, as I hate sitting in a bus/car for ages to go see ‘sights’, so I opted for this tour. Got up early as it’s a sunrise tour and was only 30mins until I was out in nature on a mountain bike in the woods. We stopped to watch a beauty of a sunrise, then on the trail I saw a Wombat and Kangeroos along the river. After a decent ride we then switched it up and went out on the river on SUPs, which I was a little nervous about, as I hadn’t been on one before, but the guide gave me a few pointers and I was fine. I didn’t fall in, which was a result! Then finished up the day with a big breaky in the sun, having a laugh with the other guys on the tour at a cool little cafe. Totally recommend this half day tour to anyone who wants to see some wildlife, have an adventure and not have to travel that far. Loved it.Written 5 October 2020

We were gifted a secret adventure picnic and chose the Bay of Islands, Diamonds and Pirates option. We had an amazing time. We had confirmation a few days out and were advised of the best time to go to access the rock pool so we were able to organise ourselves in advance. We really enjoyed the hike and even though we are peninsula locals we had never been or would have discovered the area and especially not the picnic spot on our own. The directions were easy to follow though we did take the odd wrong turn we quickly realised and were able to get back on track. We were treated to lots of local wildlife and a lovely picnic lunch and swim. Highly recommend the experience.

Fun packed, full day! Really enjoyed Nick’s enthusiasm and the company’s dedication to their causes, some of which are environment and local businesses. Each activity was planned with purpose: enjoying nature that beautiful part of the world has to offer and encouraging local farms, wineries and businesses, in this case, hot springs. I feel like we’ve had a good taste of what the Mornington peninsula’s about and definitely recommend spending more time there!
Thank you WAM!

We had done a wine tour the last time we came to the Peninsula and wanted to do something a bit different this time. We had an absolute ball SUPing and the pools were a real highlight. Highly recommend the tour!

Thank you Nic for an amazing day! My family enjoyed every minute of it. First time for me on the SUP and your instructions made me feel so comfortable - now we are looking to get a SUP of our own. Lunch was so yummy, would highly recommend visiting the orchard. Incredible views during the bush walk that gives you a real feel of the landscape on the Peninsula. Still reflecting on the pics we took by the beautiful rock pools. And no better way to top off the physical day than a soak in the hot springs. Hope to revisit the peninsula with one of your tours again, this time in the winter.

Folks, GO THERE!! You will learn a lot of different things, from how SUP in the ocean, native fauna and flora on the walks and chats with your guide/owner Nick, and see unbelievable landscapes and ocean views. Plus, some pampering at the Peninsula spa and a wine tasting to celebrate your beautiful day. WAM is a B-Corp, so it’s a waste-free day and you contribute to local ecological projects.
