To buy this ticket you need to specify the time you want the ticket. From january of 2019, The entrance to Machu Picchu has times for evey hour, so you can select the time you want to go to Machu Picchu, the times are:
It is important to present this ticket al the entrance of Machu Picchu with the original passport (identification for coutries that is allow). The time you select is the time when you can go inside of Machu Picchu, before this time you can not enter to Machu Picchu, after the time you select you can still go inside of Machu Picchu without problems.
You can stay in Machu Picchu around 4 hours, but if you want to stay more or less time there is not a problem, you can leave earlier or you can leave later. The only thing you need to consider is once you leave Machu Picchu you can not reenter with the same ticket (ticket is available just for once).
1. It is not compulsory to enter Machu Pichu with a guide, but it is better if your visit is done with a professional tour guide who will explain the history and the importance of each sector you visit in the citadel of Machu Picchu. 2. It is not allowed to eat inside Machu Picchu, you can do it before or after your visit. It is allowed to bring water or other drinks and consume it inside the sanctuary.
3. Inside Machu Picchu there is no toilet, you will find them before entering Machu Picchu or upon your departure, the right to enter the bathrooms is 1 Sol.

The Manuel Chávez Ballón Site Museum is one of the main means of communication and information for the most important culture in the Historic Sanctuary of Peru.
The museum is organized in seven phases. In these seven phases, which highlight the beauty and historical significance of the large collection of artifacts, construction tools (copper and bronze), pins, mirrors, tweezers and needles. It is located at Km. 112 "Puente Ruinas" - the old train station, which is located at 122 km downstream and approximately 1.7 km from the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes). The museum is located at the foot of the mountain of Machu Picchu, on the third of a series of platforms that end in a step below the Urubamba River. It is reached by passing the bridge that crosses the Urubamba River on the way to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
