Prompt pickup from Ken our driver. Ken offered local info and a bit of history which was nice but he mentioned a few times that he prefers mature groups. The wineries we visited were smaller ones which was great as we may not have thought to visit them. Blacklea taught us how to taste wine correctly and again - prefer mature tasters and no nonsense people.

On our recent trip to Mudgee we went on a half day wine tour. For convenience we were picked up from our accommodation and the driver Ken was on time and very personable. Not only did we visit three good quality wineries Ken included a town tour pointing out many buildings of significance and imparted his local knowledge. It was a fun and relaxing way to spend the afternoon and we highly recommend Mudgee Tourist Bus company.

Tony was a bloody legend. So accomodating great recommendations and so fun and friendly to be around. He put up with a loud group of girls all day long with a smile on his face and made us all laugh & enjoy our day. Such a great time

A good way to experience some of the vineyards without the stress of bookings and driving! Our driver Mal tried to accommodate us by taking the three couples to vineyards we hadn't yet seen which was good. The only problem was that we were put outside at the first winery (Petersons) and the staff forgot about us resulting in a big chunk of our limited time being wasted. The other downside is the tasting fees added to the cost of the trip especially when they are $10 per person...made the $170 per person into $210 pp without purchasing anything so be aware of that if you choose a tour.

A fantastic half day, morning & early afternoon trip around the lovely vineyards of Mudgee.
Ben really gave us a very enjoyable experience with some extra special delights, visiting Henry Lawsons home & school. And to top it all off a visit to Baker Williams Distillery a must have visit for all gin & schnapps lovers.
First class & we highly recommend Mudgee Tourist Buses for anyone visiting the fantastic Mudgee region.

My girlfriend and I were meant to go to Mudgee during the lockdown. I had initially contacted Ben to ask for a refund but after Ben called me immediately after an email, I knew that I had to meet him. He was cheerful and we chatted like we’ve known each other for years. We promised to go up to Mudgee after the coronavirus debacle and to bring another friend with us!
However, having decided to go to Mudgee the first weekend after the restrictions were eased, we found it hard to find accomodation. I contacted Ben for suggestions who then reserved a room for us at the local Inn!
We had the best time and Ben was able to create a relaxed atmosphere amongst the group. So much so that we were quieten down at a vineyard!
My girlfriends and I cannot recommend Mudgee Tourist Bus enough! Ben was the absolute best to deal with and we had the greatest time! If you are looking for a good time in Mudgee, please consider going with Mudgee Tourist Bus! You won’t regret it!

Overall a fabulous day out. Picked up promptly in the morning from our air bnb and itinerary laid out for the day. Our driver was lovely, however at times we were rushed through the tastings in order to make the next one on time - could be beneficial to have one less winery visit in order to have a more relaxed experience. Unfortunately we were all extremely disappointed with lunch - equivalent of $50 for the lunch inclusive full day tour, yet all the meals were about $20 in value and no drinks included. The meals in itself were small and average quality, maybe worth $15 in all seriousness?? A good day all round just not worth the $150 per person in our opinion.

Ken our driver and guide was a great host. Very knowledgeable of local history and made the day very enjoyable. Also gave us some great adivlce on other attractions to visit locally.
Lunch was included and was very nice.
We especially enjoyed chatting to the husband and wife owners of 791 Estate winery. Lovely people who were welcoming and explained some of what is involved in growing grape vines.
There was a total of 7 people on the bus for the whole day tour with 4 others joining for the afternoon half day trip. We all got on really well and even ended up meeting later at a local pub.
Thoroughly recommended.

This is a great way to get around and enjoy the area. Ken our tour driver was full of so much information. This was our first but not last visit to Mudgee so really didn't kbow anything about it. We not only learnt a lot about wines but also history about the area. My advice is eat a good breakfast and pace yourself as there is heaps of tasting happening

My wife and I went on the afternoon wine tour on Saturday 18th July. Mal, our driver (and local legend by the sounds of things) was very hospitable and knowledgeable of the wineries and area. We were joined by two other lovely couples and had a great time. Would definitely recommend Mudgee Tourist Bus to anyone wanting to explore the gorgeous region.

From corresponding with Ben through email to the actual wine tour the whole experience was one of a kind. We were kindly picked up 25mins out of town by the lovely owner, Ben to meet up with our actual wine guide and group in town. Our guide Ken was amazing. We were very impressed of his knowledge on the area and tips he gave us for our stay in Mudgee. We didn’t feel rushed at any of the wineries and loved all wineries we visited.
