Elanda Point National Park is an ideal location to see native Australian flora and fauna and experience the Noosa Everglades. This tour saves you the hassle of navigation and provides the kayaking knowhow to cruise through these waterways at your own pace. Choose your own adventure and paddle to Harry’s hut for a dip in the tea-colored waters, discover the lesser-paddled waters of Kin Kin Creek, or explore the nearby islands.

What to Expect
Meet at Elanda Point National Park Canoe Launch at 8:30am to begin your self-guided adventure. On arrival, there is a small amount of paperwork  that will need to be filled out. Once completed and after being fitted comfortably in your kayak, you will be shown a map and taught all of the basic skills needed for an enjoyable paddle across Lake Cootharaba to Kinaba. From here you are free to explore where ever you want within the Noosa Everglades. Discover the lesser-paddled waters of Kin Kin Creek or enjoy the company of the mighty Noosa River. Weave in and out of the small islands which dot the northern reaches of Fig Tree Lake or test your paddling stamina by heading up to the iconic Harry’s Hut for a swim in the tea colored waters. You may even use you kayak to reach a wilder bush walking track within the Cooloola recreation area. Your possibilities are endless on this remarkable adventure. Return to the starting point at Elanda Point National Park, meet your instructor, and conclude your self-guided tour at 3pm. Pickup and drop-off is available via minivan for accommodations in the Noosa Area. The vehicle can seat up to 11 passengers and has heating and air-conditioning.

Great trip

Really enjoyed going out on a beautiful day. Ron picked us up and took us back. Wealth of knowledge and nice guy. Deserves a bonus at Christmas! Well organised and enjoyable. Highly recommended

Beautiful views

Me and my boyfriend did a self guided tour. The map was easy to follow and steering the kayak was simple. We saw a few wildlife but it was quite rainy and cloudy. Reflections on the water were very pretty. Nice day out.
