Epic indeed! What a spectacular place. From the 4WD journey over the sand, to the arrival at a perfect right point break with very, very few people on it, our trip from beginning to end was memorable. The communication, customer-focus, attention to detail, and professionalism was top notch. Our guide James, could not have been more charming, delightful, courteous or knowledgeable. An accomplished long boarder with a keen understanding of the break, he guided us to the exact right spot to catch numerous waves. (And joined later by an Epic beginner group, it appeared each of them got many waves too. Their group instructor was also wonderful.) Double Island is a magical place, and after our EPIC session, we watched the sunset light up the sky in a dramatic punctuation to a perfect day. This company is fantastic, and our family cannot recommend it more highly!

We had a fabulous time on this trip out on the Noosa river. It would suit anyone-you don’t have to have experience. Our guide was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It was lovely to receive a video of our adventure. We would certainly recommend this trip if you’re in Noosa.

Our first time surfing and couldn’t be happier with this tour. The guides were loads of fun and very knowledgeable. The surfing spot was great as at it was only waste deep, perfect for beginners. The scenery was amazing too. We would definitely recommend this to others

This was such an AMAZING experience!! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it!! We had a lovely tour guide, very knowledgeable and super patient with the little ones!!! They had a card game to search for things in the wild like nests and different types of birds! We went through a mangrove tunnel, it was breathtaking!! So much to take in so beautiful and what a lovely way to spend the day, thank you for creating a beautiful memory!!!!!

Our family of four jumped on a private tour with Stephen at Epic Ocean Adventures. Right from booking, we had such a smooth organizing experience and the day itself was one we will not forget. A fun trip along the beach followed by a relaxed lunch picnic. We then got into some surf lessons and had a go on a few waves... whilst encountering a turtle and some dolphins swimming around us at the same time! A brief transition into kayaks afterwards and we were soon being followed by a pod of dolphins and sat watching 2-3 whales jumping out of the water ahead of us. As if that wasn't enough, we came across a few more turtles as we kayaked into shore... oh and I forgot about the eagle that flew straight over us after catching it's fish for dinner! A truly epic day and Stephen was an A+ guide... accommodating and informative. Thanks Epic team!

What a splendid day out on the sea. The kids were so excited to get up close to dolphins. And seeing the whales on the bus on the way there was just spectacular. Grateful for the experience.

Never thought we could get so close to these beautiful creatures; it’s definitely an unforgettable memory. The professional guides made us feel safe on the water and even provided some great footage of the whales. Highly recommended！This is something you can't experience on a whale-watching boat. Kayaking was indeed exhausting, and we got soaked by the sea, but it was totally worth it!

This was a great wildlife experience with numerous sightings of birds of prey, dolphins and whales. It was unique to be kayaking amongst the humpbacks and dolphins.

We got super lucky and saw a bunch of whales just on the drive over along the beach. Eliot and Steve told us a all about the different kinds of birds we spotted too. They really took their time explaining everything and made sure we could check everything out up close. During the kayak tour, we saw not just many whales but also dolphins. On the way back, we even saw a kangaroo and more birds. We totally recommend doing the tour with Eliot and Steve. They’re really cool and chill guys!

Awesome day! We all piled into the van at Noosa and drove up through North Shores along the beach towards Double Island Point. Spotted a heap of humpbacks from the shore on the drive plus a load of different birds of prey which Eliot was super knowledgeable about. Had a quick toilet break at a rest area along the away with the goannas! Both Eliot and Steven were full of cool flora/fauna facts to keep us entertained on the way. At Double Island Point the guys unloaded the kayaks and we hopped straight in, having seen from the shore that there were some whales around. Eliot was great at reccying where the whales were heading, unreal instincts! Before long we were up close with them catching some incredible action, it really was amazing to see the animals really active, and seemed like they were everywhere. On the way back we got to see a whale interacting with a couple of dolphin pods which was really the icing on the cake. We headed back to shore and chilled on the beach for a bit before jumping back in the van and heading back. We were all tired from a good paddle but enjoyed some more bird watching on the drive back! All in all, epic day, Eliot and Steve really made it with their positive attitudes and vast knowledge. Thanks again legends 🤙
