      Great Scenery & Value
As the name implies a serene trip tracking the tranquil Noosa river. The guide (whose golden jubilee in the Tour guiding business is next year) was informative and amusing. This allied to beautiful scenery made for an excellent trip and great value for money.

      Relaxing Serenity Cruise
We enjoyed the cruise, very relaxed, stunning scenery and excellent host/guide (sorry I forget your name but you had moved over from WA), we enjoyed locally brewed ale on the trip (water, juice and Prosecco also available) from the EcoSafari brewery. The whole experience was well organised and enjoyable. The views were stunning, we had been worried as went just after the North QLD cyclone but we were blessed with great weather. The 'river of mirrors' lived up to its name!

      DELIGHTFUL AFTERNOON
It was a beautiful afternoon. The skipper was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of extra information. It was a delightful cruise and I would highly recommend it. There wasn't much wildlife but the trees and water were absolutely beautiful.

A tranquil journey through the Everglades
This was a lovely trip into the Everglades. I was going to take the kayaking trip, but went with small children, so chose this instead. The Everglades are such a beautiful tranquil place. The boat was expertly manoeuvred through, and interesting facts about the Everglades were revealed by the pilot. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The boat don’t have a toilet on board however. Two and a half hours might be a struggle for some adults and children!!!

      Wonderful day in the Everglades
Very relaxing day exploring and learning about the wonderful Everglades system. We did the self drive option to the everglades eco safaris camp. It was requested that we get there 15 minutes prior to departure time, however we had to wait about 45 minutes before the coach arrived and instructional video started. We were on boat 1 with Pete. After crossing the lake and heading up the Everglades to Fig Tree Point. From there, we canoed up to Harry's hut about 5km for morning tea of cold drink and muffin. Pete, our skipper and guide was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the area it's history, the plants, animals and birds of the area. We saw a Koala, a few types of birds, a brown snake swimming, cat fish, goanna. It was a wonderful day.

      Ahh The Serenity
Toby- here’s your free coffee, haha! We were well looked after by all the staff at Everglade Eco Safaris. We did the Serenity tour with our two daughters 9 & 11. Good balance of information, time to take in the sights and bad dad jokes (Toby, they did not get better!) After exploring, the boat moored and we had some refreshments, I really enjoyed a drop of the local brew. Toby is a terrific host and did a great job engaging with all his guests, young and old(er).

It was a fantastic experience! I made many new friends and saw many birds: kingfishers, cormorants, ducks, and eagles. The river is like a mirror. My camera was kept very busy during the cruise!

we did this tour for our 30th wedding anniversary, it was briliant! Great organisation, knowledgeable staff. Our boat driver & guide was awesome: knowledgeable about the area in terms of history, geography, flora & fauna and he was also very witty! Being keen photographers we choose not to canoe (but those who did had a ball) we were most impressed when we asked the guide if he could reverse the boat for us to get photos of a kingfisher - as a result we got some awesome shots. Lovely morning tea at Harry's Hut and fabulous roast lunch on our return. It was everything we asked for!!

We had Heini as our tour guide and he was very insightful about the local habitat. He was all about making sure we have an enjoyable, relaxing and safe time on the Everglades. Really relaxing tour on the water. I went on my own but canoed with two others and had fun. We had some homemade cake and biscuits, tea and coffee after are canoe and then went back to their restaurant for a tasty and filling roast.

WE had a family of seven as this was birthday present for my husband. We had our grand children that were 7 and 9 with us and 5 adults. We arrived at 9 to be met by a guide and took us down to the water where we met the boat that took us over the Lake. It looked crazy that people were pushing the boat over the water as we didnt realise how shallow the water was in the Lake. We then got into the canoes and canoed through the Noosa River which was so much fun. As we had canoed up prior to the boat there is one section where it is possible to go the wrong way, so listen carefully prior to just taking off. The canoing goes for around 5 kms and then meet up with the rest of the group off the boat and have morning tea. Then the other group paddles back up the river. When everyone joined back on the boat we head back and have a BBQ lunch with chicken. We all had a great time. Make sure put sunscreen on your legs and best to wear sandals/thongs as you will get a bit wet.

Since the bus pick up the trip has been great.
I recommend to use flip flops for the trip, or anything you don’t mind getting wet, as due to low tide we had to walk in the water to reach and leave the boat (water below the knees) for about 30mt. It was muddy at times so I didn’t feel like walking barefoot but I guess it’s only my issue.
The tour guide was acknowledged and explained the history of the place and we did also some birdwatching, which was very interesting. Remember to look up! 🤩
Canoeing was great, just I thought it would be shorter but I really enjoyed the surroundings and the view was simply spectacular.
Had a tea break and a quick swim once we got to destination (I was in the first group canoeing while the second group had to canoe the way back with the first group’s canoes).
When we got back to land we had lunch (lots of food) which was a very good reward for our efforts of canoeing 😀 loved it.
    Thank you, everything was amazing!

Mick was an amazing tour guide. He was authentic and genuinely cared about the environment and wildlife he talked to us about.
My son has Aspergers and absolutely loves boats. He decided to stand near Mick and ask him about the boat and Mick answered all his questions with absolute care. My son said that his favourite part of the tour was in the boat talking to Mick. We will definitely be back. The entire experience was amazing from beginning to end.

My wife and I with our son and partner, visiting from Japan, were collected from the bus stop at Noosa near Hastings Street for a 35 minutes bus ride to Elanda Point. We were last there 30+ years ago, huge changes including a restaurant and micro brewery.

A quick trip across the lake where half the boat load of 12 then set off in the Canadian style canoes for Harry's Hut. All of the way we had an excellent commentary re the ecology of the region.

After morning tea coffee and a muffin, I had talked my wife into the paddle back enjoying the fantastic scenery in the everglades. Word of warning, it takes about an hour, if you are tall and 72yo male with a hip op it can be a challenge. Lunch was back at Elanda Point, the fish option was a good choice.

Absolutely recommend the canoe experience. Paddling through the everglades wasn't difficult and very safe. Plenty of time to rest, take photos, and appreciate the scenery. Cruise was fantastic with Trevor as the guide. Although when you canoe ahead of the boat, the water becomes so still and quiet, it was just beautiful. Recommend wearing thongs otherwise leave your shoes on the boat while you canoe.

Loved the combination of cruising and canoeing. The day we went was very windy and canoeing on the lake to the everglades would have been very hard work. This option lets you go by boat into the beauty and calmness of the everglades. The skipper was very friendly, helpful and full of local information about the history of the place and the environment.
The food was simple, but all we needed. We certainly felt we had earned the hot lunch after paddling along the river.
I did this with my 15 year old son, this was a good tour for both of us. It was so nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of Noosa to this very quiet sanctuary.
I would recommend the beer at the end. The cruise starts from Habitat Noosa which looks like a lovely place to stay.

This is a beautiful river ecosystem just 100km north of Brisbane. The boat allows very good viewing as well as a front area lovely for photography. Very serene with a couple of stops along the way. First one allows anyone who wants to canoe to the next stop (5km away) to get a canoe. Everyone meets up at the next spot for morning tea and a visit to historic Harry’s Hut. The morning tea was substantial and very nice. The fellow who drove the boat was extremely knowledgeable and filled the time with history and anecdotal stories. On return, lunch was served (choice of steak, fish, or vegetarian). This was the lowlight of the trip. I’ve usually found that tours which include lunch or dinner fall down in that area and this was no different. My friend who had fish said it was tasteless. My steak was virtually raw and very chewy. Nice salads though. It’s the site of a micro brewery so there are some good beers. Worth it for the river cruise but if you think they’ll be lots of birds (which the brochure alludes to) you will be disappointed. Because of the PH balance of the water (due to the tannan from the tea trees), birds do not inhabit the area. Only saw 2 coromonts on one tree. Just a little info to keep you from expecting something different.

    This was a great experience.
We stayed at Habitat Noosa so received 15% discount. The tour left around 9:30 and we were back by 2pm for a delicious lunch served at the Cootharabar Restaurant at Habitat Noosa.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area - everything from the history, geography and botany. First stop was Fig Tree point where a number of the younger passengers opted to paddle a canoe the 5 km further upriver to Harry’s Hut. The rest of us enjoyed a short bushwalking’s through the paperbark forest before heading up river through banksia and cabbage palm treed banks.
Morning tea was served at Harry’s Hut. Unfortunately there weren’t enough muffins to go around! However there was water
Melon, cold drinks, tea/coffee. Toilets were available here ( compostable and smelly but eco-friendly). We also had time for a quick swim in the river and a photo at Harry’s Hut before heading back.
