We would not recommend this tour while the fires are still burning and especially not on a day with strong winds. The staff, bus pick up and catering were all great, and on a normal day, we can see that this experience would be terrific. It was the thing we were most looking

Lovely day in an area I had not seen before. Some mentioned the bush was much leafier before the fires but regeneration is happening. Not as many birds as I had anticipated, despite paddling quietly for 6kms. Can see why locals come here to camp, great spot and facilities

Excellent experience. Lovely crew and staff. Great food. Scenery fantastic. Just a tip. You need some experience with a canoe to tackle the 5km river trip. We’d never been in one and found it difficult to steer. Still had a lot of fun and giggles though!!
