- wendysW8928CR0 contributionsCheeky leaping, playful dolphins.Amazing experience - a family of dolphins leapt out of the water and literally jumped at the windows - we had to close them in the end as the very knowlegable crew informed us they were playing with us and trying to soak us! They followed us all the way back to the landing, leaping and splashing all the way! The cruise itself was lovely - excellent food, fun crew - a one of a king way to spend my birthday.Written 27 November 2024
- kittycY230BK0 contributionsEnjoyable family day tripAn enjoyable boat cruise, lovely to see the giant from the ocean. Dolphins were a bit shy on the day (fins only seen) so we were given credit of a future trip.Written 17 November 2024
- chriswilliams20170 contributionsMandurah Wild Seafood Experience a must for discerning travellers. What a great trip - immensely enjoyable and a must for all travellers who can afford it. The staff, particularly Takaya and the chef, were excellent; the seafood and menu were out of this world; the activities, especially the pulling up of the crayfish pots, were exciting; it was a great way to see the Mandurah harbour. I highly recommend this tour/experience.Written 23 October 2024

- Karen G0 contributionsExceptional in every wayWe had an awesome time on this cruise. We were fortunate enough to have Col as our skipper and sisters as first mate and chef. They were informative, friendly and very engaging. The cruise itself was very informative regarding the sustainability of the lobster in WA. The Margaret River Wines are very complimentary to the food. The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious, prepared and cooked to perfection. All round it was a fabulous experience and have recommended it to everyone we have spoken to. Make sure to bring your appetite.Written 28 July 2024

- Guide330729430480 contributionsWild Adventure!!! No.The staff were exceptional 10/10, food and wine was very nice 8.5/10, but the experience was quite dismal 2/10 because the boat did not travel more than 300m away from the dock the entire cruise. Definitely not the wild adventure that we paid premium prices for. We saw dolphins, but they could be seen from the bank and we pulled pots 100m from the dock with a few lobster that had been put there earlier. I recommend this cruise as a food and wine experience, but not for a wild adventure.Written 10 June 2024
- Discover116634897080 contributionsMemorable AfternoonThis was a lovely afternoon with family and friends. I would especially like to thank the team of Mandurah Cruises for looking after my mum while we went on a tour of Coopers Mill. I could hear laughter from the boat while we were on our walk which gave me comfort. The experience of seeing so many dolphins and their babies was magical. The food was delicious, banter even better. It was good to be able to move the wheelchair to the outside of the deck for a different view for Mum. The passion and the knowledge of the dolphins and the area by staff was clearly evident. Thankyou to Tammy and everyone for a memorable afternoon with my family. We will certainly be doing another cruise in the future. Hughes-d'Aeth family.Written 24 May 2024
- Q7990UXrichardc0 contributionsLots of dolphins and friendly crewExcellent trip and food. We saw many dolphins and crew were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and generous with their time and efforts. Canals part was also excellent. As numbers were limited there was plenty of room for viewing the many dolphins spotted, who seemed to enjoy keeping close to us .Written 23 May 2024
- eddiewT5746GI0 contributionsBrilliant! The wild seafood experience exceeded my highest expectations! The food was amazing but what absolutely made this a highlight and one for the memory banks were our hosts Shane, Claire, and Tekiya. - PamelaW5180 contributionsFabulous experienceFour of us recently thoroughly enjoyed our Murray River Lunch Cruise. - DeeM1620 contributionsHighly recommended, fantastic day!Had a fantastic day with the Mandurah cruises luncheon crew. The whole experience was fantastic. The Crew were so laid back, friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell love their job which made us enjoy it even more. The lunch was yummy and so fresh, and plenty of it. We saw so many dolphins throughout the cruise, very lucky, playing in the waves, mother and baby calf only 4 weeks old, so cute. Lots of interesting birds also. The Captain went out of his way to keep finding the pods of dolphins, it was fun. A stop at Coopers Mill was interesting History and the journey up the Murray while enjoying lunch was very relaxing, my mother was visiting on holiday and we played cards and were very relaxed. Don’t forget mozzie repellent when stopping here, I was bitten alive 😊 Luckily for us, there was only 14 on the cruise, so we had a table to ourselves and lots of space allowing us to move around freely. Would certainly recommend this as a special day trip Thank you Mandurah Cruises TeamWritten 3 May 2024

We were pleasantly surprised by our lunch-time cruise. The food arrived as planned and proved just right for a quick snack. The cruise covered all aspects of the local waterways; the main channel [where the dolphins surfed our bow wave on cue], the canals and the wetlands. Best of all was the expert commentary by Kaylee, This yound lady delivered a well balanced description of the local history and the wildlife.
The crew was well practised, polite and provided assistance to their passengers
This cruise was very good value for money.

We had a marvelous day on the estuary and on the river with an exceptional crew! They took great care of all of the passengers and they provided excellent service all day. The lunch was also very good quality. King prawns, BBQ chicken, salads and more. There was also a cheese and meat platter served at morning tea time and pavlova and chocolate brownies for dessert. In addition, bar prices were more than reasonable with $9 beers and Margaret River wines around $30 per bottle. Our day was topped off by a pod of friendly dolphins that surfed our bow waves for about 20 minutes as we left the Murray and re-entered the estuary. That was awesome!

This is the second time we have done this cruise and although we only saw one Dolphin last time, this time we saw a pod of 6 Dolphins. Captain Scot kept us there long enough for the passengers on both sides to have a first class view. Staff we excellent with a very good commentry by the girls. Scot went overboard with his safety lecture and made some people a little worried especially if you were in a wheel chair

This is a super 75 minute tour with commentary with the option of having a fish and chip lunch on board.
We saw dophins within the confines of the inlet, so sea sickness wasn't a problem, and then embarked on a tour of the "Venetian Waterways" area of the complex, drooling over luxury waterside homes costing up to A$10m with their own boats or super yachts moored outside. As well as dolphins we saw cormarants, black swans, ospreys, pelicans and many other types of bird. Excellent.

Hi JonathanP400,
Thank you for your wonderful review on Trip Advisor and for taking the time to cruise with us on our stunning inland waterways. It sounds like you had all of the marine and bird life coming to say hello whilst on board - is always a special moment when the dolphins appear and swim with the boat.

As a family we attended the Mandurah cruise dolphin cruise. There are toilets, a little shop selling drinks and snacks. We saw Dolphins which at times were close. The commentary from the lady was informative and she did a good job spotting the Dolphins, we were free to move about most parts of the vessel . The captain is in the wrong job!! He was rude, curt and very unfriendly. My family all agreed.

We had a wonderful night looking at Christmas lights. Our crew were delightful and fun making sure we saw dolphins. The captain was skilled and when a random small vessel nearly drove into us he was not only skilled at saving us from the unthinking person, he was polite reminding the person to focus. I would recommend this night to anyone.

Drove 30min for booked and confirmed cruise only to be told the cruise was cancelled without anyone contacting me by phone or email to let me know while everyone else was notified. No compensation for time and resources wasted to be there on time. Asked the boat staff to tell the office staff to call me. Nothing again. Just a quiet refund. No sorry for stuffing you around and wasting your time and effort. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. Happy to take payment immediately but refund takes 5 days. It was a friends last day in Australia and his last afternoon was wasted by unprofessional customer service. No respect for peoples time and resources. Just left standing on the dock with a poor apology by the boat staff.

Hi Tomasz, It's disappointing to see you leave a review on here with incorrect detail, when we sent you an email immediately to address your issue - to which you never responded to. We apologized for the cancellation of our Dolphin Cruise & Views Tour on the date you planned to travel. Our guest and crew safety is our number one priority. The skipper came down extremely unwell during our afternoon tour and was not able to carry out any further tours for the day. When the crew advised us, we immediately called all guests booked on to advise them of the situation. We tried to call you 3 times on the number provided in your booking. Each time we called the number an automated voice said 'This call cannot be connected', that there was an issue with the number. As the number you provided when booking online was not contactable, we then sent an email hoping you may receive that in time. We had no other option for contacting you. The vessel crew did not advise us you wished to be called. They said you were walking up to the office to discuss your booking with us. We had no means of contacting you anyhow as the number you provided was not connected. We immediately refunded you. Yes, this takes 2-5 business days at it depends on your bank's processing time. This is out of our control. We understand the cancellation caused inconvenience to all guests who were booked on for the 3pm cruise and even offered you to travel complimentary at another date and time of choice - however you never responded to accept this. We also requested you provide a mobile number we can contact you on to discuss your issue - again, you didn't respond and so we have no other means of contacting you.

The whole voyage took about 70 minutes and was wonderful.
It was explained that the engine would stop in the dolphin watching area to provide a better viewing experience.
Cruises are divided into upper and lower levels. Most tourists prefer to sit on the second level, but the seats don't really matter. After the boat leaves the dock, you can walk up to the second level and around the platform to the bow. There is plenty of space on both sides of the bow and bow. You can sit here until the boat comes back to the dock.
Dolphins will follow the boat with them during the period, and at this time, the ground floor is a great place to watch and take pictures.
Once off the boat, make sure you stop by the adjacent dessert shop for an ice cream 🍦 to bring the trip to a perfect end.

We didnt quite make it this time as they had engine problems so the cruise was postponed by the company who offered everyone a full refund or an alternative cruise on another day. Good on the. We have cruised a few times before. There was still a big que even on a Thursday in March. It was a warm day and UNFORTUNATELY there is NO SHADE . The Council should do something as it was BOILING and NOT suitable for our climate

Hi, my family of 5 adults would be in Perth next year end Feb and we would like to join Mandurah Dolphin Cruise. As I am a senior that gets seasick on choppy waters, please give your advice if this Dolphin Cruise is suitable for me?
If the water condition is not suitable for me, I do not mind waiting for my family to complete the cruise. Please advise if there are cafes or other activities there that I can enjoy while waiting?
Thank you.
