- 521jonw0 contributionsA wonderful day and experienceThank you to Alannah, Dean and Emma for making my wife’s first wreck dive such a memorable experience. Alannah and her customer service in their dive shop was excellent! Dean… great job at skippering and very helpful all round, with a good sense of humour. Emma… I watched you with your posse of Junior Open Water Divers and you were so calm, professional and caring…. 100% kudos to you 🙌🏼 The dive in HMAS Swan was sensational with great vis, lots of marine life including a grey nurse shark, and the dive brief and information during the day was excellent. Morning tea was yummy and I’d highly recommend this dive to anyone. Thank you guys 💙🩵Written 4 January 2025
- Oz2B0 contributionsAmazing family dive on the Stunning Busselton Jetty with awesome crew from SwanDive.11/10 Dive with the family. We dived in the morning on Busselton Jetty in absolutely pristine conditions - 20m visibility underwater and flat warm day above. Swan Dive were so friendly, helpful and efficient getting us out to the site. Since they installed the underwater sculptures, this has become one of the best dives in WA (indeed my 15 year old daughter, who has dived Navy Pier in Exmouth (rated in Top 5 in the world) said this was her best dive ever. The colours of the soft corals growing all over the jetty piers and the sculptures is simply stunning, and only bettered by the amount and variety of fish playing around them. On the day dive we were particularly transfixed by a couple of magical octopus, whilst the night dive offered up baby squid dancing in the torchlight and scorpionfish peering warily from the bottom. 110% recommend this dive, and SwanDive.Written 1 January 2025
- rachelgS7715BZ0 contributionsGreat day out on the Swan.Fantastic experience. Highly recommend heading out with Swan Dive to complete the HMAS swan dive. All the staff are very friendly, knowledgable and happy to help. We had the perfect day out, the boat was comfortable. Snacks and drinks provided at surface interval.Written 1 January 2025
- amylP8047ZJ0 contributionsExcellent - Best dive shop & scuba diving guides in Busselton! The business is owned by a lovely young dive couple who really know their stuff (and who happen to have the most gorgeous golden retriever). These guys are professional, kind and super knowledgeable about the area. I was able to hire everything I needed and they gave great advice and tips about diving in Busselton and surrounds. After such a wonderful interaction with them in preparation for an earlier dive, myself and a friend decided to book onto the double tank dive of the HMAS Swan and we were not disappointed. The Swan Dive boat is arguably the best in WA - it has a beautiful sun deck and a platform lift (meaning you don’t have to climb up a ladder into the boat after your dive). Such a great experience and brilliant service, particularly for anyone who might have mobility issues or need accessibility accommodations. As further proof of how fantastic Swan Dive is, when they did our air fills every one of them was completely full up to 250 bar. Excellent, friendly service - will definitely be coming back. Make sure to visit Swan Dive!!!Written 9 April 2024
- chrisrC6436EE0 contributionsNight dive in the HMAS Swan was superb!Just spent an awesome Saturday night doing a double dive, including a night dive, on the HMAS Swan! The experience was brilliant! The Swan crew were awesome! They knew their stuff, were informative, friendly and easy going. And great cooks! Dinner was tasty as! Highly recommend for anyone looking for any kind of dive. I went solo and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will be back with this crew again, that's for sure. 5/5Written 17 February 2024
- scubal0ver0 contributionsMagnificent diving, Great teamWe did 3 dives with Swan Dive, a single dive under Busselton Jetty, and then 2 days later a double dive, of 4 Mile Reed and Busselton Jetty again. First of all, as a dive professional myself, I can say that their total operation in VERY professional. From gear fitting ( all new Cressi gear) to the boats and especially the guided dives. Personally, if I dont know a dive site well, I much prefer to have a guide who can point out the better bits for me to photograph. This is exactly what we got. As I've dived the Jetty before, I had some idea of what was in store for us. As it turned out there are now a dozen or so sculptures on the botton to add to the dive. I needed 2 div3s to see most of what's there, and I'm sure I missed a lot. 4 Mile Reef was a surprise. It was not at all what I expected. What it is is a small ( height) rocky ridge running, maybe, 400 metres and being about 2 metres high. On the coast side ( I think) it is a series of under cuts, little caves and areas of protected habitat. I know that sounds underwhelming, but the actual site is as diverse in its own way as the Jetty. 10 + big nudibrances ( 4 species), Blue Devil Fish ( both Western and Southern), Bullseyes, Hulafish, Leatherjackets, & Wrasse stood out. So the question is 'Would you do either dive again?' And the answer is Tomorrow!Written 16 February 2024
- Guide496198265030 contributionsRelaxed, easy dive with plenty to seeWe did the jetty scuba dive with 60 minutes of bottom time. Plenty of colourful things to see from the critters to the sculptures to coral covered pylons. Our instructor Meg was relaxed and fun whilst still professionalWritten 10 January 2024
- Jacqueline B0 contributionsEasy and enjoyable dive experienceThoroughly enjoyable and relaxing dive experience with a very competent guide. Our group had people with vastly different dive abilities and the jetty dive was perfect for all of us. We have dived all over the world, and this is one of the better companies we’ve been with.Written 10 January 2024
- Kristina W0 contributionsGreat dive experience! Our night dive with Swan Dive at Busselton Jetty was awesome! The boat was spacious including a nice toilet and, best of all, a diver lift which was quite a luxury. Their gear was top-notch, all brand new and high quality, making the dive super easy and enjoyable. The dive was great with loads of octopus, interesting saltwater catfish, and a barracuda. The underwater sculptures were a blast to explore. Swan Dive made it such a fun and hassle-free experience. Totally recommend it for anyone up for a great dive adventure!Written 27 December 2023
- 44micha_lr0 contributionsDive Cape Naturaliste!Diving enthusiasts in the Cape Naturaliste area (near Busselton, Margaret River and Dunsborough) are in for a treat, with an array of fantastic dive sites to explore. Three sites that stand out for their unique offerings are Canal Rocks, Point Picquet, and the Swan Wreck. Each site has its own distinct charm, and here's what you can expect when diving at these locations. Canal Rocks Dive Site: Canal Rocks is a wild underwater paradise. Its natural beauty is unrivalled, but its natural wild character needs to be considered carefully before submerging! Many different trajectories can be dived there: in the bay right in front of the car park, you’ll reach depths of up to 8m, with a good chance of sighting some weedy seadragons, wobbegongs, and maybe a giant Australian cuttlefish. On calmer days, you can swim underneath the footbridge, and enter the canal, where you’ll be greeted by a wall of pomfrette fish: it’s truly asthonishing. Swim further north, then east, and south to get back to the boat ramp: a pretty easy dive. You can also swim out towards the North-East from the boatramp, to get to a dive site called “the Honeycombs”, where you might encounter the resident turtle, in between a myriad of caves and swim-throughs. On supercalm days, the “Outer Wall” is accessible, for the advanced diver. With depths of up to 25m, and a very long dive trajectory, you’ll see some massive smooth stingrays, maybe a few sharks, and definitely some interesting rock formations with colourful sponges and corals; but you’ll want to do this with an experienced local diver. Pop into the local dive shop (“Swan Dive, Busselton”) to get in touch with some of those local divers, if not for the quick airfills, advice, and gear rentals. And book your spot on a trip to the best wreck dive in Western Australia: the HMAS Swan Swan Wreck Dive Site: The Swan Wreck is a site unlike any other. Water clarity and visibility are usually good there, enhancing the excitement of exploring the wreck. Expect to see a few of the resident wobbegong sharks, a great school of three-barred-porcupine fish at the bow of the sunken ship; and swim through some of the many accessible chambers in the wreck. A quick boat ride from Busselton, you’ll end up right on top of the wreck, with one of Swan Dive’s dive tours. You'll need to be an advanced diver, however: the wreck sits at more than 30m of water... Point Picquet Dive Site: Point Picquet offers divers a diverse underwater landscape. Rocky reefs and underwater caves provide a stunning backdrop for your exploration. Water clarity and visibility are outstanding here, ensuring that you don't miss the rich marine life that calls Point Picquet home. Point Picquet often surprises divers with unique marine life encounters, especially the established coral formations. Keep an eye out for colourful nudibranchs and hold your breath (for a second!) to listen to the whale songs frequently visiting these waters.Written 29 October 2023

- garethbS6520ZD0 contributionsWreck Diving with all the extrasWe had an amazing day out, doing a double dive on the wreck of the HMAS SWAN, the Captain was very knowledgeable of the ship and how she lay giving a great brief on where to go and what to see, even giving multiple route through and around the ship for various levels of divers. Safety was the highest priority, with great technical knowledge displayed throughout the day. During our surface intervals a BBQ lunch was provided of burgers, sausage and salad. Which perfectly coincided with the whale migration, giving up the perfect view of approximately 15 to 20 Whales as close to 60 - 100m from the boat mooring. We even got a pod of 20+ dolphins playing with the whales... with photos to prove it!!!! after the second dive hot showers were available and we sat in the top deck that was kitted out with lounge chairs and bean bags . A Perfect day on the water with everything you could ask for. (Five star)***** Excellent shop service ***** Excellent boat ***** Excellent crew ***** Excellent technical knowledge***** Excellent service***** Highly recommend to allWritten 24 September 2023

Great way to spend an hour or two. Lovely walk down the jetty. Lockers are $8 for a large one. The snorkel around the sculptures is really good with easy access into the water. We were happy to walk so wasn’t a big deal being told we couldn’t use the train as our flippers took up too much room(go figure). All in all we loved it and would recommend

We didnt even intend to do this tour but so glad we did, especially my wife who isnt very confident in the water but she loved it. The staff were very professional and caring, gear was good, and the focus was always on safety. We didnt expect to see much from the surface but the view was great, and given most of the sculptures are huge its pretty hard to miss them. Our guide told us about all the fish we saw, my brain didnt hold onto much but her enthusiasm was catching. Much better than just a sweaty jetty walk.

Our family had an extraordinary day snorkeling at the Busselton Jetty, exploring the mesmerizing underwater sculptures and amazing marine life. Our guide not only exuded friendliness but also provided invaluable insights, making the experience even more enriching. The comprehensive safety briefing prior to our adventure, especially reassuring for my wife with our children in tow, demonstrated the company’s commitment to safety. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour for an unforgettable and well-guided aquatic adventure!

After walking Busselton Jetty, why not looking at what is under? I found the sculptures tacky but the dive in itself is very enjoyable and stress-free. You could easily spend the dive just looking at one pillar covered in soft and hard corals.
