    Fabulous
This was a last minute decision to take the family on the trip to the bay of islands - and what a great decision it turned out to be. The helicopter was brand new, the pilot was terrific and the views were amazing. My 7 and 6 year olds had the times of their lives and will remember it forever. Pretty reasonably priced too, I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Superb : a must to do in the area
We did the 1 hour tour with a wonderful weather. It was very very very beautiful. The 25 minutes tour is a minimum. Our helicopter has 3 passengers, some have 7 passengers (maybe too many to take photos and videos). We were only 2 so it was perfect. Booking in advance is a good thing

If you want to see it all, get in the air!
Does what it needs to do, we had a one hour flight and saw what we wanted to see. Flight was in an Airbus helicopter, 7 people can fly at the same time so you will be sitting with others. You get some explanation on the way but in our case not so much. It’s a real factory where you need to run to get in and out to minimize time on the ground; Respecting flight times could be better as we had a reservation but needed to wait half an hour because others with shorter flight-times were served first (otherwise they needed to wait to long??) Expensive but nice experience

Would I do it again? For sure!
This was definitely a highlight of our GOR trip. The weather was a bit overcast and slightly windy, but it was still a great way to see the 12 Apostles. We choose the 25min "Bay Of Islands" flight and it was definitely money well spent. The commentary by our pilot was informative and interesting. The only negative , was the "safety briefing" was pretty non-existent . These guys do this all the time and luckily , everything was fine, but there wasn't much of a safety briefing. Would I do it again? For sure!

Poor customer service, poor timing on schedules
Extremely disappointed with the people skills. They open at 10am, we were there at the property as expected 945am. Checked in got briefing. Advised a slight delay. However a 16min and a 25 min flight went before us. When I approached the gentlemen they advised problems with the aircraft. I asked to speak with the manager/owner to which he agreed. (There was an aircraft sitting out in the yard doing nothing and was going to be operatio al later in the day). Whilst waiting the owner jumped in a smaller aircraft, managed to start the engine after a 45min wait. After out 16min flight, the manager or owner didn't show, when asked he was busy and the staff avoided me like a plague. When you book flights for 10am, I suggest these aircraft's are primed and ready to go at 10am. Not 45 mins past the scheduled booking. Left and front headset mics didn't work.

    Rude and disrespectful
I am a tourism Operator, Today I took 2 students tourists for a helicopter ride of 165 aud. Instead of letting us know in a respectful way, they can’t fly without a minimum 3, Nick one of the fight admin at the office was very rude and disrespectful to me and my guests. I am sure he wouldn’t spoken to a local Australian like that because that person would have slapped him on his face! In this unfortunate time of Covid-19 any business should be open and welcoming with awesome customer service. Also needs to be Respectful to all regardless from which background they come. Racist has no place in the real world.

Great way to explore the GOR
We did the 20 min helicopter tour and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The pilot was excellent pointing out the landmarks and mother and calf whale that was along the coastline. Staff were accommodating in our requests. Considering we hadn’t pre booked our tour at short notice they were great to deal with. Definitely recommend this attraction to anyone visiting the 12 apostles and wanting to experience it from the sky.

    Amazing Company!
What a super professional company and we can not express our thanks to them. Yes we could see the weather was not perfect so we did not mind waiting and they made sure that we had an amazing experience. Not many companies care as much as this company and we were certainly impressed. This company is a must if you want to really see the beautiful coastline and I will have to say, one of the smoothest helicopter flights we have done. Thank you to everyone!

    Highly recommend, solo traveler
went on the 1 hr flight and it was awesome. The staff where professional and personal. Felt safe and looked after from my first contact to the flight. Pilot had great knowledge of the area. If I’m ever back this way I would do it again. Great value for money. I highly recommend. The only thing I would say if your solo give them a call a few days prior and they will assist in getting you on a flight, you can’t book for 1 online.

    Very Impressive experience
In celebration of our Wedding Anniversary, we wanted to do something special so we took the 25-minute 12 Apostles to Bay of Islands flight giving us a bird’s eye view of the rock formations to truly appreciate the beauty (especially Bay of Islands), which was very impressive!! Blake was a great pilot and very knowledgeable about the area. Despite being short staffed due to Covid, the staff were friendly and professional. For extra $$ you can get a copy of your flight in USB. The whole experience was truly impressive and would highly recommend it.

    What a view!!!
What an amazing experience after lunching at Port Campbell we decided we would take a helicopter flight over the 12 Apostles. The guys made our flight absolutely beautiful. Nick was a great pilot & his knowledge of the area was excellent. Definitely worth the price.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and added to a great adventure. Thank you for a truly memorable experience. I would thoroughly recommend this company. And make sure you get the video of the flight to remember it by, Added bonus that the USB was a little helicopter too. cute!

We were told about this service by our driver on AATKings coach, and we decided to do this tour after watching the video on the coach.

It's a beautiful heliport with beautiful red color helicopter and great staff. They operate very efficiently and with a smile despite challenging timelines.

We flew with Pilot James, who is not only a great pilot also a fantastic person to talk to. Flight was smooth and views were stunning. We will do it next time too.

I had ordered HD recording of my flight, they gave it to me on a USB. Unfortunately it doesn't have sound and several people had issues with this service as computer had some glitches on 18/04/2014 afternoon.

Overall - a must do activity if you are planning to take Great Ocean Road trip. Thanks guys at 12 apostles helicopters.

My husband and I decided to do the helicopter ride the day we traveled the Great Ocean Road. It is well worth the money and the wait to see them from this unique perspective.

One tip -- don't take the ride from the 12 Apostles Visitor Center. Head up the road a bit (closer to Port Campbell) and take it from there. That location is not as crowded and you don't need to wait in a line in the sun. Once you pay, your name is on a waiting list and you will be called. A MUCH better experience that standing in line…..

Rocked up here on Good Friday looking for a quick tour of the 12 Apostles. The attraction as a whole was VERY busy. But we paid $95ish each and were on a helicopter within 10 minutes.

Flights for the 12 Apostles last 10-15 minutes. They are regular and high volume. The service felt bespoke. Very personal and well delivered.

It was an excellent experience and we got some great photographs. For me, 10 minutes is enough. I can’t see how any longer would be more enjoyable on a cost/benefit basis.

Highly recommend you take at least a quick flight if you are heading this far down the Great Ocean Road.

On our Great Ocean Road Tour, we were told that a helicopter tour was available, and we thought what a wonderful way to see the Twelve Apostles! So we signed up in spite of the expense (not cheap!) By opting for the helicopter, we bypassed stopping at a couple other scenic spots, and spent that time waiting in line for our time.
It's a very organized operation - helicopter lands, seven passengers get off as the next group gets on , and within 5 minutes you're airborne.
It is very interesting to see the coastline from the air, but if you want to take pictures - you won't have much success....better off staying on the ground and going to the 'tripod holes'.
The employees were all professional and very courteous, and I have no fault with how the operation went. I'm just sorry that I didn't stay on the ground for my Twelve Apostles visit... Perhaps if one isn't on an organized tour, and you have time otherwise to spend at the various overlooks, then the helicopter tour would be the icing on the cake of your visit to a beautiful spot!

The 12 apostles are supposed to be the climax to the wonderful buildup to the great ocean road tour. Beautiful and inspiring.
What a view. BUT what you see of the 12 apostles form the land is only a mere fraction of what one gets from the helicopter . . splendid and majestic . . .highly recommended.

Only took the 15 minute flight over the Apostles and London Bridge but it really does give a very different and spectacular perspective of these icons of the Ocean Road. The helicopter was relatively new and the set up is professional and safety conscious. Worth spending an extra 45 dollars for the video recording of the flight-saves trying to take pics during the flight. The commentary provided by the pilot is both entertaining and informative. It is possible to do this flight without a prior booking , just turn up .it really was a highlight of our trip

We arrived to the hangar on a grey morning, we were immediately allocated a helicopter and pilot. The staff briefed us on safety issues and within minutes we were in the air about to see one of Australia's most awesome landmarks - the 12 Apostles.
Our pilot James was well informed on the history of the formations and the areas surrounding. To our delight, the overcast and calm conditions were perfect for viewing these iconic pieces.
A must do for anyone touring the Great Ocean Road.
We took the option of having the flight filmed for a small fee, which was great as our family were able to share in the wonder.

The 15 minute helicopter ride was definitely worth the price. Great panoramic views of the 12 apostles and the Melbourne coastline. Not only that, the staff and pilot were very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. Was a bit letdown by the quality of the footage from their helicopter cameras, but it is only a minor letdown from what was a great experience.
